Make the Best of Your Circumstances

Every circumstance that we face will have the possibility of opportunity and its shares of challenges.

We will be faced with many circumstances in our life time, some that will appear to be overwhelming and other just routine. Making the best of the circumstances that we face will become our choice and those choices will impact our future.

When we are faced with a bad circumstance use it as a learning experience. Make the best decision that you can make, find the best solution to the circumstance. Take positive action to do the best you can and make the commitment not to repeat or to get into those circumstances again in the future.

Make the most of your circumstances by using them as solid building blocks for your future. Use your circumstances as stepping stone to achieving your goals, objections and in achieving greater success.

See every circumstance that’s presented to us as an opportunity. Look at your circumstances as an opportunity to make the choice to turn the circumstances into the fuel for your success journey.

Make the best out of your circumstances and will turn your circumstances into opportunity.

Self Pity is a Silent Killer

Self pity becomes a trap in our thoughts that moves us into the dark world of negative thinking, negative action and negative results.

If we yield to self pity we become involved in an endless downward spiral. This spiral can throw our lives into a tailspin where things get out of control and make it seem as if there is no way out.

When we become involved in challenging situations never yield to self pity.

We have to resist self pity with all of our strength to maintain positive thinking about our conditions and to stay focused on solutions, not in self pity.

Self pity is a silent killer and our worst enemy, positive thinking and focused efforts are our friend.

Our Doubts of Today Limit Our Tomorrow

Don’t allow our doubts of today limit our tomorrow.

The only time that our doubts will limit our tomorrow is when we give into our doubts and allow them to control our thinking, our activities and our life.

What we decide to do with our doubts becomes a personal choice.

We can choose to be negative and succumb to our doubts, or we can choose to acknowledge we have doubts and take action to overcome them. We can choose to face our doubts with a positive attitude, deicide what we’re able to control and to set the course to remove the doubt with positive thinking and through positive actions.

Our doubts of today become obstacles on our success journey; our tomorrows will be the result of positive thinking and overcoming our doubts of today.

Stay firm in your beliefs and don’t allow our doubts of today limit our tomorrow. Turn your doubts into the personal energy to remove them.

The Tide Will Turn

Motivational Power Quote

The Tide Will Turn
“When you get into a tight place
and everything goes against you
till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer,
never give up then, for that is just the place
and time that the tide will turn.”
Harriet Beecher Stowe, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The tide will turn

There are times that the things around us become overwhelming and it seems that we will be over come by the tide sweeping into our lives.

In moments like those we may feel that it would be far easier to retreat and push back away from our goals and dreams. In reality it may be easier to push back then push forward. But we will find that by pushing back things will not improve and we have surrendered our goals and dreams for a false sense of short term comfort.

We will find success in life not by surrendering but in standing firm in our resolve to push forward through the challenging waters in our life and to remain standing.

Every storm will pass with time; we may not come through the storm without some bumps and bruises but they will soon heal.

But what remains important as you whether the storms in your life is to keep your goals and dreams as your beacon to guide you through the turbulences that you encounter.

The storms in your life can turn you away from your goals and dreams or with your persistence the tide will turn to your favor. The choice is yours to hold on and the tide will turn.

Success Comes In Helping Others

Motivational Power Quote

Success Comes In Helping Others
“Successful people are always
looking for opportunities to help others.
Unsuccessful people
are always asking,
what’s in it for me?”
Brian Tracy, personal and business trainer, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Success comes in helping others
We form the building blocks for our success by seeking out the opportunities to be of service and helping others.

Successful people continually seek opportunities to help others achieve what they want. By helping others achieve more of what they want we will achieve more of what we want.
Our success will be in direct proportion of our services and helping others.

Unsuccessful people have a tendency to become self absorbed with their personal needs and will put their needs above the needs of their customers.
Successful people understand that true success comes in helping others.

Be Green and Grow

Motivational Power Quote

Be Green and Grow
“Life is growth.
If we stop growing,
technically and spiritually
we are as good as dead.”
Monihei Ueshiba, martial artist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Be green and grow

When we are green we are growing.

Like the mighty oak tree that starts’s its life cycle as a small acorn. The tree takes root and though out its life continues grows.

A mature oak tree can grow to reach 100 feet or more in height.

Our live in many respects is like an oak tree.

Once we take root there is a need to continue to grow and mature through out our life to reach our potential. Our growth involves our personal, our profession and our spiritual growth.

As we grow we become a stronger person and we put down deep roots to withstand the storms in our life. The strength of our roots supports our growth and provides the fuel for our success journey.

The person that elects not to grow has make a choice; and much like an oak tree without a strong root system, they will wittier and die.

Make the choice to be green and continue to grow.

Singleness of Purpose

Motivational Power Quote

Singleness of Purpose
“Singleness of purpose is one of
the chief essentials for
success in life,
no matter what may be one’s aim.”
John D. Rockefeller Jr., American Philanthropist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Singleness of purpose

Singleness of purpose is the foundation of putting our objectives in prospective. When we put our objectives in writing, we create goals.

A lack of focus or purpose is a major source of worry and stress. One of the best methods to address and remove worry and stress is to create a worry and stress buster. That stress buster is the singleness of purpose.

Singleness of purpose creates clarity and meaning to our life and puts our goals in order. It provides us with a sense of direction and a source of energy to move us in the direction of our goals.

Once we set the priorities for our lives through the singleness of purpose it becomes one of the chief essentials for creating success.

We are Personally Responsible for Our Choices

Motivational Power Quote

We are Personally Responsible for Our Choices
“Personal responsibility begins with ME.
That’s why it’s personal.”
Jim Miller, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

We are personally responsible for our choices

Our choices are under our control, we make the choices on what we will do, when we do it and why we do it.

If anyone is trying to impose there will on us we have the choice to say NO.

Each of our decisions and actions are building blocks for our future and to a successful outcome when we take personal responsibility for what we do.

Once we take personal responsibility for our decisions, our actions and the outcomes, we take control of our future and our lives.

Our success begins with taking personal responsibility for our choices and what we do.

The Best Time To Plan

Motivational Power Quote

The Best Time To Plan
The best time to plant a tree
was 20 years ago.
The next best time is now.”
Chinese proverb

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The best time to plan

Planning for our future starts with our planning today.

We can always look back with regret on missed opportunities and the things that we did not do.

The key to our future is not to dwell on the past or to repeat the missed opportunities but to use our past experiences as a learning experience for the future.

Planning for our future is planning for our success in advance.

The best time to begin planning for our future is today. Begin by preparing a roadmap for our success journey.

Know where you want your success journey to take you and how you’ll get there.
Invest your time in planning before you start your success journey. The time invested in planning will give you better direction, shorten your journey, and keep you on course.

The best time to plan for tomorrow is today and when you plan today you will invest your time today in your future success.

Our Attitude Makes the Difference in Problem Solving

Motivational Power Quote

Our Attitude Makes the Difference in Problem Solving
“Your problem is not your problem.
Your attitude - how you handle
your problem - is your problem.”
John C. Maxwell, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Our attitude makes the difference in problem solving

Our attitude forms the basis for successful problem solving.

Essentially our problems are not the problem. The real problem surfaces in how we address our problems. We will we either take a positive or negative position and approach to solving the problem.

Will we take the personal responsibility to correct the problem or allow it to perpetuate?

Our attitude will determine how we address the problems we encounter and our approach to its resolution.

Our attitude will also determine the level of our persistence we have in resolving the problem and seeing the problem through to a successful conclusion.

The bottom line is that our attitude will make the difference in our problem solving.

A Time For Personal Growth and Renewal

Motivational Power Quote

A Time For Personal Growth and Renewal
“No matter how long the winter
Spring is sure to follow.”
Proverb

As I See it . . . . . . .
I would to reflect on a recent business trip to New Jersey.

During my visit I experienced a wide array of conditions. The weather ranged from being comfortable and in the mid 30’s to bone chilling freezing. There where snow flurries, sleet and blizzard conditions with all the weather conditions occurred in less then a week.

Moving to Florida in 1981 it’s easy to forget how the weather shifts in New Jersey this time of year.

This year New Jersey area experienced a cold weather and has by daughter would say they had enough show.

From the number of people that I spoke to they are waiting for the weather to change and the arrival of spring.

The weather in New Jersey is a lot like the seasons in our lives.

After the winter comes the spring and it becomes the time of year for renewal and new growth it’s also a time for the planting of new seeds.

Our real estate business is a lot like the seasons, we are now coming into the time of renewal in real estate. We may have to put up with a little bit more winter; but then spring will follow and our real estate business will be in a time of renewal.

Sharpen your tools and have the seed of a positive attitude ready to plant. For whatever we pant in the spring we will harvest in the fall.

Now is the time to grow and renew you spirit.

There Is No Doubt That I Can and I Will

Motivational Power Quote

There Is No Doubt That I Can and I Will
The secret of making something work in your lives is,
first of all, the deep desire to make it work:
then the faith and belief that it can work:
then to hold that clear definite vision
in your consciousness  and see it
working out step by step,
without one thought of doubt in his belief.”

The achiever knows with conviction that they can do what has to be done to be successful and they know that they will do it.

There is no doubt in their mind that they can do what is required of them to succeed and they move forward with an attitude the leaves no doubt in there mind that they can and that they will succeed.

Their attitude keeps them moving in the right direction through the thick and thin of their success journey. They maintain the spirit of no doubt in their mind and that spirit is reflected in their work ethic and in their actions.

The achiever sees the outcome that they want to accomplish and they will focus their thoughts and actions into turning their vision a reality.

Achievers believe in their thought that they will succeed and there is no doubt in their mind that they will succeed.

Asking Questions Increases Our Performance

Motivational Power Quote

Asking Questions Increases Our Performance
“Asking questions will get you
the performance you are after
far better than dictating demands.”
Dan James

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Asking questions increases our performance

Asking questions is a sign of respect and showing sincere interest in the person that we are speaking with.
In response to asking questions we form a relationship with the person and build rapport.

Rapport opens the door for continuous exchange of information and communication.

When we make demands of people often this can shut off open and honest communication with the other person and they may feel threatened, angry, or both. From that point forward communication, relationships, and negotiations breakdown.

Making demands can also jeopardize a relationship and close the door on future opportunities.

As we continue to ask questions we gather information. When that information is properly utilized we are seen as a problem solver.

As a problem solver, we help the other person and we gain momentum that continuously moves us in the direction of our goals and objectives.

Asking questions increases our performance and places us in a win – win situation.

The Secret of Determination
“Determination gives you the resolve
to keep going in spite
of the roadblocks that lay before you.”
Denis Waitley, Author, Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The secret of determination

The secret of determination is formed within our choices.

Determination is a choice of seeing things through to a successful conclusion no matter how challenging the circumstances may appear to be or becomes.

Choose to visualize a successful outcome, see the ending exactly as you would like it to be and be determined to achieve your desired outcome.

A person who is truly determined and is committed to make the efforts necessary to reach their desired outcomes has the advantage of self – confidence in achieving their goals.

A determined person has an expectation of success before they start their success journey and they take the first step with a positive expectation of the outcome. They know the path that they will have to travel and they boldly step in the directing of their future with the expectations of succeeding.

Successful people are determined to succeed and replace the word failure with the philosophy that they are experiencing a temporary setback and believe that a setback gets them one step closer to reaching their desired outcome.

The secret of determination is in your choices and the first choice is to believe that you will succeed. The second choice is to take the actions to succeed and the third choice is to start now.
