Good Decisions Take Thought

Motivational Power Quote

Good Decisions Take Thought
“Just because we increase the
speed of information
doesn’t mean we can increase
the speed of decisions.
Pondering, reflecting and ruminating
are undervalued skills in our culture.”
Dale Dauten, author, speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Good decisions take thought

Information has increase to lighting speed, and we are asked to make more and faster decisions. No matter how much pressure is put on us to make a decision, we still have to do our best to make a good decision.

At times we can make good decision in what appears to be a matter of seconds and at other times it will take deeper thought to make a good decision.

Our minds and our decision making process moves at a different pace for each of us. No matter what or thought process is, we have to think through our decisions to make a good decision.

Making a quick decision without much thought can lead to a poor decision and undesired results. Once those decisions have be made they can move us in the wrong direction and the course correction that will be required to get us back on track and be very painful.

Making a quick decision with that thought out gets us on the right course and moves us closer to our objectives.

The time that you invest in your decision making today will set the course for your future your. It will give you the direction that will save your time and energy in the future.

Good decisions takes thought and your decisions create you future.

We Devolve Character Under Pressure

Motivational Power Quote

We Devolve Character Under Pressure
“You never will be the person you can be
if pressure, tension and discipline
are out of your life.”
James G. Bilkey, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

We devolve character under pressure

Our character is a lot like a diamond and it’s devolved under pressure.

In our moments of pressure we are tested and devolve our character and inner strength.

In our most challenging moments we will find the resilient to withstand the storms in our lives. We may come out of our challenges situations with some bumps and bruised but with our character we will come out standing.

Character is the moral fiber to stand strong and to face our future with the strength to work through the conditions that we encounter.

We devolve character under pressure and the life we lead will be the result of our character and how we handle the pressures in our lives.

Decide to Act and Not React

Motivational Power Quote

Decide to Act and Not React
“The possibilities are numerous
Once we decide to act and not react.”
George Bernard Shaw, Playwright

As I see it . . . . . . .

Decide to act and not react

Our future is a blank canvass that only you can paint.

To paint the canvass with our future we have to a vision for what we want our future be. We then will have to act on our vision to make it become what we believe it can be.

There are only two ways that the canvass of our life can be painted. We can take control of our life and act on determining our future and to start to paint our canvass as we want to see that future. Or we can decide to live a reactive life and have someone else paint the canvass of our life for us, as they see out life.

The choice is simple to act to control our future or to reactive and have someone else decide our life for us.

Create a grand vision for your life and act on your vision of what you want your life to be.

See your life as a blank canvass and use your imagination to paint your future. Remember it’s your bush, your canvass and your life and it can be anything that you want it to be.

Believe in the possibility for your future, because what you believe you can make come true.

Make the decision to decide to act and not to reaction and to take control of your destiny.

Good – Better – Best

Motivational Power Quote

Good – Better – Best
“Good, better, best, never let it rest
till your good is better
and your better is best.”
Unknown author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Good – better - best

The place to improve our world is first in our mind and than in our actions to turn our thoughts into our reality.

We choose the path in life that we will travel and we make a choice on who we want to become.

We also make the choice in life on how good we want to become.

Choose not to be good, choose to be better and then stretch yourself to be the best that you can be.

Improving our world begins in our thoughts. We make those thoughts come true in our activities. Choose to be the best that you can be and your actions will become a reflection how good you are at what you do.

What we think impacts our attitude and our attitude effects what actions we take.

Turn your good on being better, turn your better into becoming the best and in your best your will create a new world of opportunities and unparallel success.

Only you can choose the path for your life, choose to grow. Go from good – better – best and you will choose the pathway to create your destiny.

Your Beliefs Determine the Results

Motivational Power Quote

Your Beliefs Determine the Results
Above all, be true to yourself,
And if you cannot put your heart in it,
Take yourself out of it.”
Hardy D. Jackson

As I see it . . . . . .

Your beliefs determine the results

Your belief at the beginning of a challenging situation makes all the difference. When you believe in yourself it removes your doubt and you set your course of action with confidence.

As we move into uncharted waters, there is apprehension and uncertainty. It’s at that moment that your beliefs will determine your outcome.

Your beliefs determine the results and are the building block to successful results.

Motivational Power Quotes

Raising the Bar of Expectations
“Achievement is largely the product
of steadily raising one’s level.”
Jack Nicklaus, professional golfer

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Raising the bar of expectations

When we establish crystal clear expectations for our future, we create the foundation in our minds on how we will achieve our maximum potential.

Steadily raising the bar of our expectations and aspirations just a little higher and a little out of our reach cause us to stretch out of our comfort zone. As we stretch out of our comfort zone we stretch our potential, as a result our potential steadily grows and will never return to its previous size.

Continually raising the bar of expectations will maximize our achievements.

Take Action Now

Motivational Power Quotes

Take Action Now
“The best way to make your dreams come true
is to wake ups.”
Paul Valery, French Poet

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Take action now

Dreams and goals without action have no sense of purpose. Take action now to fill full your dream and accomplish our goals.

Action without a plan is of little value, motion without a direction leads down a dead end road.

Success will come to those who are willing to take action and calculated risks to overcome the obstacles that stand in their way of achieving their goals and pursuing their dreams.

The key is to take action and take action now.

Motivational Power Quote

Teach the Person How to Think
“Teach the young people
how to think,
not what to think.”
Sidney Sugarman, Federal Judge

As I see it. . . . . . . .

There power is in teaching the person how to think . . . . not what to think.

Telling the person what to think prevents the persons mind from becoming creative. It will hinder their self-confidence and personal growth. More importantly, it prevents the person from fully developing their thinking and decision making capacity.

Teaching a person how to think creates personal power and self-confidence. They believe that they can think their way through any situation and make good decisions. They will challenge themselves to think out of the box and to make the tough decisions.

The person, who believes in their thinking, believes in themselves and that confidence shows.

Teach the person how to think creates an awaking in the person and opens their life to a new world of opportunities.

The Difference Between a Rocking Horse and a Race Horse

A rocking horse is in motion, and can be moving very fast, but at the end of the day the rocking horse is exactly where it started.

A rocking horse rocks in place and makes no progress.

The race horse has a purpose, to do there best and win the race.

Don’t confuse the motion of the rocking horse with the progress of the race horse.

Progress is following your plan and continuously putting one foot in front of the other in order to keep moving in the direction of your goals.

The difference between a rocking horse and a race horse is the rocking horse rocks in place and makes not progress and the race horse is doing their best to win the race. Be the race horse and best your best to achieve your goals.

An Unbeatable Combination for Success
“Patience, persistence and perspiration
make an unbeatable combination for success.”
Napoleon Hill, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

An unbeatable combination for success

Success is not an event; success is the result of a consistent and focused effort in the direction of our objectives.

To achieve our objectives we have to know what we want to achieve, how we are going to achieve them and the price that we’re willing to pay to achieve the desired results. Once our objectives are clear in our mind, reduce your objectives into writing and create your goals for your success journey.

Written goals give you a measureable path to follow on your success journey. Your goals will give you clearly marked directional signs to keep you on track and your action plan will keep you on purpose.

Have patience in your success journey as success is not an overnight endeavor anything worth while has an element of time and effort to achieve the desired results.

Our success journey will require persistence. Our path to success takes on many dimensions. At time we’ll be traveling on expressway and at others time we be blogged down on a muddy road where it seems that we are not making any progress.

When we get bogged down we have to remain focused on our goals and remain persistence in achieving them.

Anything worth while is worth working for working for. At times we will have to work smarter to achieve the results and at other times we will have to roll up our sleeves and work hard. At times we will find that perspiration may be just what’s needed to put us over the top.

An unbeatable combination for success is; success is not an event and there is no one single event or effort that makes a person a success. It’s a combination of consistent and focused effort in the direction of our goals that creates success.

Courage is Inner Strength

Motivational Power Quote

Courage is Inner Strength
“Courage teaches us what should
be feared and what ought not be feared.
Only by taking action do we gain that knowledge.
And from that knowledge comes an inner strength
that inspires us preserve in the face of great adversity –
and inspires others to follow.
In the most difficult of times,
courage is what makes someone a leader.”
John C. Maxwell, Leadership Expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Courage is inner strength

It’s our inner strength to do the right thing for the right reasons and not to cave in to do what’s popular that creates the foundation for a successful life.

Courage is the inner strength to act.

Our inner strength gives us the courage to step out of the safety our comfort zone and guilds us to take the steps and actions that will carry us closer to achieving our goals.

We are not born with courage.

We develop courage over time from the storms in our lives and in the times of adversity, our courage comes as a result of our life lessons. Our life lessons create our experiences and those experiences create our wisdom and from those lessons and wisdom we developed courage.

Great Possibilities Start With a Spark

The greatest of possibilities starts with a spark.

Take that spark and fan it with passion until you turn it into the flames of unlimited possibilities and achievement.

That spark needs our attention to burn bright and has to be fanned with consistency and determination to become a flame.

The spark has to be protected from the winds of negativity that threatens to blow the flame out.

Make the flame yours; keep that flame alive in your heart and with you through out your success journey. Your flame will light the way for you to follow the pathway to achieving you’re goals.

The greatest of journeys start with fanning the spark of possibilities and turning spark into your life’s purpose.

Fan the sparks of your possibilities and you will turn your spark into unlimited opportunities.
