the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate
troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.”

You can’t relive the past . . . .

You will be able to draw on your life experiences to help you to shape your future and to be better informed to guild your future decision making.

Motivational Power Quote

Have the Imagination of a Child
“One of the virtues of being young is that you don’t let the facts
get in the way of your imagination.”
Sam Levenson 1911 – 1980, American Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Have the imagination of a child

Our childhood was a wonderful time in our life . . . . and our imagination was in full bloom . . . .  and everything seemed possible.

We played games for hours . . . . and when we didn’t have a game . . . . we made up our own games.

It was a great time before electric games . . . . and the games were played outside.

One of the games we played was called kick the can . . . .

All you needed was a least 2 kids a can . . . . a small area to play in and a can. The can was used like a soccer ball and you get points for hitting a goal or a target.

The games where very competitive . . . . when there were enough kids you could play elimination games . . . . and like with like any other games there was a championship game.

As children we used our imagination and occupied ourselves . . . . There was very little money growing up in the intercity . . . . There imagination, enthusiasm and everyday was a new adventure.

A Natural Touch

Motivational Power Quote

A Natural Touch
“There is no such thing as a natural touch. Touch is something
you create by hitting millions of golf balls.”
Lee Trevino, Golfer

As I see it . . . . . . .

A natural touch

You see it in every profession . . . . The players and the entertainers make it look easy and you hear people refer to them as being a natural or have a natural touch in what they do.

The people that make it look easy . . . . invest a massive amount of time of efforts behind the scene.  They work on perfecting their skills to the level to where their performance seems flawless.

Look Fear in the Face

Motivational Power Quote

Look Fear in the Face
“We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience
in which we really stop to look fear in the face . . . .  we must do
that which we think we cannot.”
Eleanor Roosevelt 1884 -1902, Former First Lady

As I see it . . . . . . .

Look fear in the face

Fear is nasty and can paralyze you in place . . . . It can also prevent you from taking action . . . . . or it can put the brakes on your success journey.

Fear left unchecked can become overwhelming . . . . and stop your forward progress.

On the other hand addressing your fear . . . . puts the condition into prospective and reduces what was once a fear into a condition.

A condition is not to be feared . . . . and a condition can be addressed and managed.

Look fear in the face . . . . and manage the condition . . . . You will find that the condition becomes manageable . . . . and what was once feared is under your control.

Teamwork is Essential

Motivational Power Quote

Teamwork is Essential
“Teamwork is so important that it virtually impossible for you to
reach the heights of your capabilities or make the money that
you want without becoming very good at it."
Brian Tracy, Author, Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Teamwork is Essential

In team sports . . . . teamwork bring out the best in the team and in the players.

When you look at the Miami Heat throughout the 2012-2013 season and winning the 2013 NBA Championship . . . . LeBron James was the best player on the team.

The presence of LeBron James playing for the Miami Heat made the other players on the team better throughout the season and it showed up big time in the NBA championship run the Heat made.

Because of Leron James Skills the opposing team would focus on shutting LaBron James down. This created opportunities the other players on the team to step up and shine. It seemed like in every game one or two players would do just that . . . . and they would step up their game. Their efforts had a big impact on the outcome of the game.

What happen was because of LeBron James . . . . other players became better and open up the game. The opposing team would have to make more effort to cover the other Heat players in the game . . . . and when they did LeBron James was open to make big plays.

Teamwork is essential . . . . for the Miami Heat teamwork was an essential part of the team success and in winning the 2013 NBA Championship.

Keep Your Eyes on Your Objectives

Motivational Power Quote

Keep Your Eyes on Your Objectives
“It doesn’t matter how fast you get there if you’re heading in
the wrong direction. So you must slow down and see
where you’re going.”
Karen Salmansohn, BS, Self-Help Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Keep your eyes on your objectives

The pace of your success journey is not as important . . . . as successfully reaching your objectives.

You can zoom through your days going as fast as you can go . . . . and when you get there . . . .  you find yourself in the wrong place.

It’s very easy to get off course or to become distracted . . . . Both will burn up your energy . . . . and waste your time without any meaningful forward progress to achieve on reaching your objectives.

Focus on your objectives . . . . create a success plan for your road map and guide. Use your road map to monitor your forward progress and to keep you on course . . . . and that your moving in the right direction.

Play the Cards You’re Dealt

Motivational Power Quote

Play the Cards You’re Dealt
“Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once
they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the
cards in order to win the game.”
Voltaire 1694 -1778, French Enlightenment Writer, Historian,
Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .

Play the cards you’re dealt

Life is a journey . . . . On that journey life will deal us varying conditions . . . . as result of the varying conditions we will be tested on how we play the cards that we are dealt.

No matter what the hand looks like you can choose to play the cards your where dealt . . . . You can make the most out of the cards and play to win.

You can try to avoid the cards that life deals to you . . . . and you will find yourself losing control of your decision making and in the direction that your life is going in.

Or you can also decide to fold your cards . . . . and quit.

Not every hand your dealt is a winning hand. . . . It comes down to making the most out of the hand life deals to you and in turning a bad hand into a winning hand.

It’s your choice on how you will . . . . play the cards you’re dealt.

We All Have to Start Somewhere

Motivational Power Quote

We All Have to Start Somewhere
“The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field
have in common is that they all began their journeys when they
were none of these things.”
Mike Dooley, Author, Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

We all have to start somewhere

The road to achieve your goals starts . . . . with the first step in the direction of your goals.

Successful people have a common trait . . . . they had to start to get where they are. They started from where . . . . and they were and used the resources that they had at their disposal.

They also followed through on their vision and dreams . . . . With their objectives in the forefront of their thinking and with determination they took the action to get them where they wanted to go. They stepped forward and did what was required to create the course of events to move them forward and in the direction to successfully reach their goals.

To successfully achieve your goals . . . . to live your dreams . . . . or to reach your objectives. We all have to start somewhere . . . . the starting to get you where you want to go . . . . is starting from where you are.

Use It or Lose It

Motivational Power Quote

Use It or Lose It
“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious in the time you have to spend whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.”
Earl Nightingale 1921 – 1989, Author, Speaker, Dean of
Professional Devolvement

As I see it . . . . . . .

Use it or lose it

You can use it only use it one time . . . . and then it passes forever.

You can invest it in productive activities . . . . and it will create value in your life.

You can waste it . . . . and it’s gone forever without  bring any value back into your life.

You are blessed with 24 precious hours each day . . . . to do with it has you please. What you do with those 24 hours will accumulate and will return to you with dividend to create value in your life. Or the time will be washed away with no positive return for your time.

Time comes down to . . . . use it or lose it . . . . invest you time today and your time will return to you . . . . with dividend.

4 Short Words

Motivational Power Quote

4 Short Words
“Four short words sum up what has lifted most successful
individuals above the crowd; a little bit more. They did all that
was expected of them and a little bit more.”
Lou Vickery, American Business Writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

4 short words

Through my personal experience of managing, consulting, coaching and being in sales there is a defined difference between successful people and those that don’t climb the ladder of success.

Successfully people make it a habit of . . . . doing A Little BIT MORE then what is expected of them. Many times they are working hard behind the scenes away from the eyes of other people. They do what has to be done without having to be pushed . . . . They also know it’s the right thing to do.

You’ll find that the people who don’t make the climb up the ladder of success . . . . are the one’s who end up doing less them expected of them even when they’re pushed. What they lack in effort they make up for  in excuses.

The 4 short words are . . . . A LITTLE BIT MORE . . . . When you commit yourself to doing . . . . A LITTLE BIT MORE . . . . you will create raving fans among your customers and over your career . . . . A LITTLE BIT MORE . . . . will make a big difference in your life and career.
