Motivational Power Quote
Success is a Work in Process
“A man watches his pear tree day after day,
impatient for the ripening of the fruit.
Let him attempt to force the process,
and he may spoil both the fruit and tree.
But let him patiently wait,
and the ripe pear, at length fails into this lap.”
Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Success is a work in process
Success is much like the pear tree. We have to cultivate the fields of our career before we can plant the seeds of our success. In our career we have to prepare our mind and spirit and make a personal commitment to pursue our success with passion.
The first step of success is preparation.
Once we have prepared ourselves for success we plant the seeds for a successful career. To see our career flourish we have to plant our seeds of success to grow deep roots to withstand the winds of our challenges that we will face in our life.
The second step of success is we have to plant the seeds of success to grow deep roots.
When our success seeds have been success planted the real work begin. We will have to continually work the field of our career to ensure the tree grows and bears fruit.
The third step of success is we have to maintain our success journey with the continuous enchantment of knowledge and skills and be a life long learner.
Success is a work in process and at times a moving target. Our advanced preparation will get us started on the right path and gives us the ability to adjust to the changing conditions in our life.
We have to put down deep roots and stand strong in the face of adversity. There will be no success without the commitment to weather the storms in our life.
Success is a work in process and is achieved when we focus on the process of success and our efforts on continuous personal improvement to become the best that we can be.
