Look Fear in the Face
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience
in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are
able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror.
I can take the next thing that comes along.” . . .
you must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
Eleanor Roosevelt 1884 - 1962, Former First Lady

As I see it . . . . . . .

Look fear in the face

Life is full of challenges . . . . we can cave into them . . . . or we can stand strong and face them.

Fear can be a terrible thing . . . . for a child, it can be the fear of the dark . . . . or separation anxiety on the first day of school.

It also can be the lost of a home . . . . lost of a loved one . . . . lost of a job . . . . and the list can go on. In many cases we cannot control the things that are happening . . . . but we can control our emotions and the way we handle the condition.

Some conditions can be life treating . . . . while others will pass quickly . . . . but it all comes back to how you handle the condition.

It will take courage to look fear in the face . . . . but once you do.  You realistically look at the condition and look for the best solution to the condition.  As a result you will feel that you’re in control of the condition and in the solutions.
