Dream With a Direction

Dream With a Direction
“A vision is a clearly – articulated, results – oriented of
a future you intent to create. It’s a dream with direction”
Jesse Stoner Zemel, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Dream with a direction

Successful people have a clear sense of purpose . . . . and the direction that they want their life to take. They are willing to take the personal reasonability to get their life on the course that will take them in the direction of success and achievement.

Dreams turn into clearly defined goals when you put them into writing. They will give you a path to follow . . . . and the direction for your success journey. Focus on your goals . . . . and you will pursue your goals with a sense purpose.

Turn your goals into a plan for your life’s journey and you will have the direction . . . . and a clear pathway for success.

Dream with a direction . . . . becomes your written goals.

Put the Lift Under Your Wings

Put the Lift Under Your Wings
“When everything seems to be going against you,
remember that the airplane takes off against
the wind, not with it.”
Henry Ford 1863 – 1947, American Industrialist.
Founder of the Ford Motor Company

As I see it . . . . . . .

Put the lift under your wings

There is nothing written the book of how to succeed in business . . . . that tells us that the road to success and achievement will be a short and easy one.

In fact the road you encounter to success and achievement . . . . will be a road that’s under construction and one with changing conditions.

To make it through the maze of your success journey is not for the faint of heart . . . . Your determination to succeed will become a key component to successfully navigate your success journey and to overcome the challenging conditions and setbacks you encounter.

Success will be achieved by those who stand strong in the face of adversity and push through.

Your determination will put the lift under your wings . . . . to keep you going forward and closer to achieving your goals.

What’s Your Goal?

What’s Your Goal?
“If your goals are larger than your need to be liked, then you
will reach your goals. If your need to be liked is larger than
your goal your goal becomes the need to be liked.”
Jean MacNutt

As I see it . . . . . . .

What’s your goal?

The answer to that question makes a big difference in what direction that your life takes . . . .

When you set a goal to achieve your goals . . . . your goal is to achieve your goal. You create a purpose in your life. With a diligent effort and persistence you can achieve your goals.

When you set out to have people like you . . . . Your goal becomes to have people like you.

Your decisions become based on having people like you.

Here’s the key . . . . People who like you may not respect you  . . . . The person that doesn’t respect you will be very unlikely do business with you.

People who respect will appreciate what you do are far more likely to build a successful business relationship with you.

What’s your goal? Make it your goals goal to build a strong professional relationship with your customers . . . . one built on mutual respect and when you achieve that goals . . . . You will achieve your goals.

The Law of Probabilities

The Law of Probabilities
“I teach something called The Law of Probabilities which says
the more thinks you try, the more likely one of them will
work. The more books you read, the likely one of them
will have will have a answer to a question that could
solve the major problems of your life .. make
you wealthier, solve a health problem,
whatever it might be.”
Jack Canfield, Best Selling Author.
Success Coach, Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The law of probabilities

The person that moving in the right direction to achieve their goals  . . . . will make far more progress them the person that’s talking about it.

The person that invests their time and efforts in their personal development positions themselves to take advantage of their opportunities.

The person that’s willing work hard to achieve their objectives is far more likely to achieve their objectives . . .  Than a person that talks a good story and applies a minimal effort.

The law of probabilities . . . . is you greatly increase your probabilities of succeeding by focusing your thinking on the activities that will keep you moving in the direction of your goals and objectives.

Challenges Make You Stronger
“No Man ever achieved worth-while success who did not, at one
time or other, find himself with at least on foot hanging
well over the brink of failure.”
Napoleon Hill 1883 - 1970, Best Selling Author, Motivational
Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Challenges make you stronger

Success is found in the grind . . . . the hard work . . . . the preparation . . . . and in overcoming your challenges.

Success is not a straight line or a sprint . . . . it’s a road that’s less traveled that will appear to always be under construction.

Success is not found in the easy . . . . it’s earn as a result of your hard work and in grinding it out.

Challenges make you stronger . . . . and on the road less traveled of your success journey it keeps you moving in the right direction. People drop by the wayside on their success journey by giving into their challenges . . . . and not being committed to overcoming their challenges.

Challenges make you stronger . . . . they will give you the extra strength to stay the course and overcome you challenges and emerge successful to live their goals and dreams.

How You Treat Others

How You Treat Others
“It’s surprising how many people go through life without
ever recognizing that their feeling towards other people
are largely determined by their feeling towards
themselves, and if you’re not comfortable
 within yourself, you can’t be
comfortable with others.”
Sydney J. Harris 1917 – 1986,
American Journalist

As I see it . . . . . . .

How you treat others

How you treat others . . . . is a reflection of how you feel about yourself.

A person with strong self-esteem . . . . has confidence in them self. They will have the confidence to interact and respond to other person in a positive way.

You won’t feel threatened by another person, which creates the potential of forming well balanced successful relationships.

You will nurture people . . . . and bond will and will be able to help them to develop their talent to grow to their full potential.

The person with weak self-esteem will easily become threatened by other people and end up having marginal relationship with other people. Also they will create barriers in their relationships . . . . and in order to try to make themselves look good at the expense of other people.

They will also attempt to try to suppress a person’s talent . . . . and look for faults in others without recognizing their talents.

A person’s inner feeling about themselves come to the surface in the way they treat other people. Embrace the people in your life with respect . . . . and it will rub off on them.

How you treat others . . . . is a  reflection of your inner feelings. If your treating the people in your life with respect and understanding your on tract. If your not you may need to give your self-esteem a checkup.

A Life of Purpose and Direction

A Life of Purpose and Direction
“In the absence of clearly – defined goals, we become strangely
loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we
become enslaved by it.”
Robert Heinlein, America Novelist

As I see it . . . . . . .

A life of purpose and direction

Knowing what you want to accomplish in your life will give you direction . . . . Your written goals will give your life purpose.

A life without goals drifts . . . .  without a purpose or direction. In the drifting there will be a great deal of stress and frustration that builds up.

Define your goals and put them into writing in the order of their priorities . . . . Create a written plan of action to achieve them . . . . and your life will have both direction and purpose.

Commit yourself to successfully achieve your life’s purpose . . . . and to stay the course and make the adjustments that are necessary to reach your long term objectives.

A life of purpose and direction . . . . is a lifetime journey to successful achieve your goals . . . . and to live a life of purpose.

Procrastination is the Theft of Time
“Don’t procrastinate. Delays can make a job seem bigger than
it really is - - and thinking about what you haven’t done
steals time the job you have before you.”
Bernice Strawn, Artist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Procrastination is the theft of time

Your day comes your way just one time . . . . never to see the light of day again.

Your minutes pass at the same rate of speed not matter if your using them productively or they’re being wasted away.

Your time can be a great resource to you on your success journey . . . . or your greatest enemy.

Time that invested in productive activities . . . . return to you in the way of time well invested in your future success.

Procrastination is the theft of time . . . . That time has been wasted and drains your resources without creating value in your life. Your forward momentum will slow or come to a complete stop putting your success journey at risk of failure.

Procrastination is the theft of time . . . .  Remove the elements of procrastination out of your life by investing your time in productive activities and those activities will bring the productively back into your life.

People of Character Do the Right Thing

People of Character Do the Right Thing
“People of character do the right thing, not because they
think it will change the world but because they refuse
to be changed by the world.”
Michael Josephson, Attorney, Former Law Professor
Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

People of character do the right thing

People of character won’t test the waters to do what’s politically . . . . Or cave in to group think when they act . . . . They do the right thing . . . . and standout.

You will be asked to compromise your position and to go along with the crowd with your decisions making . . . . The people that are doing the asking you to compromise are insulating themselves from the decision making . . . . and from any negative fallout from your decision.

The person that gives in and compromises their position will not be seem as a person of character or a leader. In fact over time they will be seem as weak and lacking character.

People of character do the right thing . . . . and what they do are based on high values and standards.

The Thinker – The Doer – The Talker

The Thinker – The Doer – The Talker
“Thinkers think and doers do. But until the thinkers do and the
doers think. Progress will be just another word in the already
overburdened vocabulary of the talkers who talk.”
Source Unknown

As I see it . . . . . . .

The thinker – The doer – The talker

The thinker who thinks . . . . and applies the knowledge opens doors.

The thinker who thinks . . . . without taking actions on their knowledge will find the doors closed to them.

The doer who thinks . . . . and takes action with the resource of the knowledge moves to the forefront of their profession.

The doer who takes action . . . . without thinking creates a nightmare.

The talker talks a good game . . . . and when it’s the time for them to act . . . . they just keeps on talking . . . . and never really engages and gets involved.

The thinker - The Doer - The talker . . . . The doer who thinks through the process and acts . . . .  becomes the achiever.

It’s OK to Ask For Help

It’s OK to Ask For Help
“The healthy, the strong individual, is the one who asks
for help when he  needs it. Whether he has an
abscess on his knee or in his soul.”
Rona Barrett, American Gossip Columnist and
Business Woman

As I see it . . . . . . .

It’s OK to ask for help

Fact is no one knows everything . . . . and there’s nothing wrong with asking for help.

Asking for help is a personal strength . . . . and a sign of intelligences.

One of the main reasons that people don’t ask for help . . . . is they are insecure. They feel that if they ask for help it will be a sign of weakness. Actually the opposite occurs, when people are asked to help the overwhelming majority will gladly step up to help you.

The key is to know what you’re asking for  . . . . to know the right person to ask . . . . When you ask listen to they are telling you and sort out the information they’re telling you.

Asking for help with a closed mind . . . . will waste everyone’s time.

Asking for help with an open mind  . . . . gets you answers and the help that you looking for.

It’s OK to ask for help . . . .

question that he cannot answer and by attempting a
task he cannot achieve .”

As I see it . . . . . . .

Living your destiny

The person that chooses to live their destiny . . . . Will challenge themselves forward . . . .

The Discoveries of Trying the Untried

The Discoveries of Trying the Untried
“Discoveries are often made by not following instructions, but
going off the main road by trying the untried.”
Frank Tyger 1929 – 2011, Cartoonist, Columnist, Humonist

As I see it . . . . . . .

The discoveries of trying the untried

The path of doing what everyone else is doing . . . . is a predictable path of following the crowd in doing more of the same old thing and expecting difference results.

That path is one without a real leader . . . . and where everyone is doing what everyone is doing without a defined reason. This crowd operates in their comfort zone . . . . and over time it creates a deep rut for themselves.

The breakthroughs in your life are found outside of your comfort zone . . . . and in the discoveries of trying the untried . . . . It’s stepping outside of your comfort zone, is where you will find the opportunities and the breakthroughs in your life and career.

Limits are imposed by your thinking . . . . Change your thinking and you will break down the walls of your comfort zone. As the walls come tumbling down you’ll discover that your world is as big as your thinking and that your willing to work for.

The discoveries of trying the untried . . . . Will move you into the discovering the world of possibilities and to stretch your limits to new heights.

The Question is - How Can I Do It?
“Your resources are always far greater than you imagine them
to be. Never ask, “can I do this”? Ask instead,
how can I do this?”
Dan Zadra, Entrepreneur, Creator of inspiring books and gifts

As I see it . . . . . . .

The question is - how can I do it

When you’re facing a task . . . . focus on the positive  . . . . and the question is - how can I do it . . . . successfully.

The question focuses you forward . . . . looking for answers . . . . solutions . . . . and creating  the desired outcome.

Your time will be put to far better used in focusing forward . . . .  on what has to be done and finding answers . . . .

Aim For What You Want

Aim For What You Want
“Everything you want should be yours. The type of work you
want; the relationships you need; the social, mental, and
aesthetic stimulation that will make you happy and fulfilled;
the money you required for the lifestyle that is a appropriate
to you; and requirement that you may (or may not) have
achievement or service to others. If you don’t aim for
it requires that you know what you want.”
Richard Kock, British Author, Speaker, Investor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Aim for what you want

Have you indentified what it is that you want?

Is what you want a priority in your life . . . . or a like to?

With what you want it in your life . . . . have you made it a goal . . . . and is that goal in writing?

When you want it . . . . you have to aim for it . . . if you expect to hit it . . . . you have to make it your priority . . . . and a must have in your life.

Success Can Come Down to One Thing
“You don’t grow up in our neck of the woods believing
that someone can outwork you.”
Joseph Parkinson

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success can come down to one thing

The one thing that continually shows up in successful people is their willingness to roll up their sleeves . . . . And to do the hard work that required too succeed.

You won’t find successful people standing around wasting their time bitching and complaining about their conditions . . . . the state of the market  . . . . a setback . . .  or a missed opportunity.

They’re focusing their efforts forward using their life experiences . . . . as learning experiences. They are focused on finding solutions and their next opportunity.

It very hard to beat a person that’s on purpose with written goals . . . . and work hard to achieve their goals. Their willingness to work hard to achieve their goals separates them from the masses and moves their goals within their reach.

The key is . . . . Success can come down to one thing . . . . the willingness to work hard for what you want.

Success is Waking up Excited
“Success is waking up in the morning and bounding out of
bed because there’s something out there that you love to
do, that you believe in, that you’re good at something
that’s bigger than you are, and you can hardly wait
to get at it again.”
Whit Hobbs, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success is waking up excited

Success is waking up excited . . . . and loving what you do.

A big part of success is found in loving what you do . . . . and believing that you will be successful in what your doing.

When you love what you do it will never feel like work . . . . it will be a labor of love and you will routinely make the extra effort to be successful at what your doing.

Here’s the key . . . .

Success is waking up excited . . . . If your not experiencing that feeling you will hinder for forward progress in your career.  Adjust your attitude to get on track . . . . or adjust your career to put yourself in the position to succeed.
