As I see it . . . . . . .

People of character do the right thing

People of character won’t test the waters to do what’s politically . . . . Or cave in to group think when they act . . . . They do the right thing . . . . and standout.

You will be asked to compromise your position and to go along with the crowd with your decisions making . . . . The people that are doing the asking you to compromise are insulating themselves from the decision making . . . . and from any negative fallout from your decision.

The person that gives in and compromises their position will not be seem as a person of character or a leader. In fact over time they will be seem as weak and lacking character.

People of character do the right thing . . . . and what they do are based on high values and standards.
