90% of Success is Discipline

90% of Success is Discipline
“Someone might have a germ of talent, but 90% of it is discipline
and how you practice it, what you do with it. Instinct won’t
carry your through the entire journey. It’s what you do
in the moments between inspiration.”
Cate Blanchett, Actress

As I see it . . . . . . .

90% of success is discipline

Success is not spontaneous . . . . it doesn’t occur on  a whim . . . . it’s not an isolated event . . . . and it’s not something that just happens.

Success is the result a discipline and determination to achieve your goal.

Talent will get you started . . . . Over the long haul of your success journey it’s your discipline that comes to the surface that drives you to keep going . . . . and to keep you focused on your objectives.

Champions in every walk of life are driven . . . . They have the disciple to develop their skills to be successful and to maintain their skills on the cutting edge of their profession.

90% of success is discipline . . . . the discipline to be the best that you can be in your profession.

The Cost of Success

The Cost of Success
“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain off discipline
or the pain of regret. The difference is disciple
weights ounces while regret weighs tons.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur,
Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The cost of success

All long term success is paid for in advance . . . . Part of that payment is paid in the time that’s has to be invested to achieve success. There is also the investment in the effort to become successful.

What we see in successful people is the result of their efforts . . . . In most cases we never see the determination and commitment that has be paid in advance to create the success.

Here’s the key . . . . successful people have paid the price of disciple to achieve the status of earning their success.

In knowing and interviewing success people they look at their success journey as a mission to achieve their objectives. They will freely sharing their experiences and they look at their disciple as a major factor in their achievement.

The cost of success . . . . is paid for in advance and their disciple is part of the cost.

Half of Life is Luck the Other Half is . . . .

Motivational Power Quote

Half of Life is Luck the Other Half is . . . .
“One half of life is luck;
the other have is disciple – that’s the important half,
for without discipline you wouldn’t know what to do with luck.”
Carl Zuckmyer, German writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Half of life is luck the other half is . . . .

Most people have the perception that successful people are lucky. Is it true and the answer is it depends?

You will discover that lucky people have a strong work ethic and have prepared themselves to succeed.

Successful people have a burning desire to succeed and you can see it in their dedication to achieve their goals.

The other half of luck is disciple.

You will find successful people show up everyday prepared to succeed and with the belief that they will succeed. They come into the day with the disciple to support their goals with their activities.

Successful people make their luck with hard work and in looking for opportunity. What really makes a successful people stand out is they have the disciple to know what to do with the opportunities that they find.

Half of life is luck and the other half is . . . . the disciple to make their luck
