Make Your Own Way

Motivational Power Quote

Make Your Own Way
“If you want to succeed in the world you must make
your our opportunities as you go.
The man who waits for some seventh wave to toss him on
dry land will find that seventh wave is a long time coming.
You can commit no greater folly than to sit by the road side
until someone along and invites you to ride
with him to wealth or influence.”
John B. Gough 1817 – 1866
British – Born American temperance orator

As I see it . . . . . . .

Make your own way

You will meet people on your success journey that will be willing to help you, mentor you, and coach you. They will be there to lend you and helping hand and words of encouragement.

They will be a valuable resource to you on your success journey and will have a big impact on you and your career. They will be rooting for you to succeed.

With all of your resources at your disposal, to cross the finish line you will have to take the responsibility to make you own way.

Nipped in the Bud

Motivational Power Quote

Nipped in the Bud
“Creativity is so delicate a flower that praised tends
to make it bloom,  while discouragement often nips it in the bud.
Any of us will put more and better ideas if our efforts are appreciated.”
Alexander Osborn, the father of brain storming

As I see it . . . . . . .

Nipped in the bud

Have you ever watch the interaction of a parent or a grandparent with the young child?

They are encouraging the child to take their first step, acknowledges their art work at a young age. They will encourage the child after they strike out in a baseball game or lose a game.

Teachers encourage their students with a little note of encouragement on the child’s school work or a happy face sticker.

The encouragement takes hold at a young age and the encouragement and praise builds the confidence and self-esteem of the child.

The lack of encouragement and praise has the opposite effect. The child has no point of reference and very likely will grow up with low self-esteem and lack confidence and their natural talent will be nipped in the bud.

A persons self-esteem is fragile a word of encouragement can lift it. A lack of encourage can wither it.

Don’t allow anyone to discourage you and show appreciation in the people you meet and you true talents will bloom and you and your talent will not be nipped in the bud.

A Simple Act of Kindness

Motivational Power Quote

A Simple Act of Kindness

“Too often we underestimate
the power of a touch,
a smile, a kind word, a listening ear,
an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential
to turn a life around.”
Leo F. Briscaglea

As I see it. . . . . . . .
A simple act of kindness

A simple act, a word of encouragement, being there for a friend, helping someone who needs help, allowing the other person speak and listening, all may seem small but they have the potential of turning someone’s life around.

A simple act of kind impacts the other people and many times changes our life as a result of our act of kindness.
