Be Wiser Today Than Yesterday

Be Wiser Today Than Yesterday

“A man should never be ashamed to own that he has been

in the wrong which is but saying . . . That he is wiser

today than yesterday.”

Jonathan Swift 1667 - 1745, Anglo – Irish, Satirist,

Pamphleteer, Poet and Cleric

As I see it . . . . . . .

Be wiser today than yesterday

Yesterday is . . . . a cancelled check.

Tomorrow is . . . . an unknown and is a promissory note.

Today is the only cash you have for your future . . . . so invest it wisely.

Be wiser today than yesterday . . . . and your days accumulate value for your future.

You learn from the lessons of your past . . . . Your life will be spent in the future and your life lesson of the past become a valuable resource. How you invest your time today . . . . will determine what the value of your tomorrows will be.

Yesterday is in your life as a cancelled check . . . . and when you use the lessons of the past your future becomes brighter . . . . and be a wiser today than yesterday.

Yesterday is a Cancelled Check

“A man should never be ashamed to own that

He has been in the wrong which is but saying . . .

That he is wiser today than yesterday.”

Jonathan Swift, Irish Cleric, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Yesterday is in our life as a cancelled check

Tomorrow is an unknown and is a promissory note.

Today is the only cash we have for our future; so invest it wisely.

We learn from the lessons of our past and our lives will be spent in the future. How we invest our time today will determine what our tomorrows will be.

Yesterday is in our life as a cancelled check and when we use the lessons of the past our future becomes brighter and we become a wiser person.

Motivational Power Quote

Discover a Whole New World

“Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen

and thinking what nobody else has thought.”

Jonathan Swift, English Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Discover a whole new world

There is a whole new world of opportunity waiting for us to discover it.

We will only see the new world when we open eyes and look beyond the horizon and when we get there we will have to look a little further. The little further is the extra mile that takes us the opportunities that will change our lives.

But we will only see the new world when we open our minds to the possibility and are willing to take the steps find it. The greatest opportunities lay outside of our comfort zone.

The path to our new world is a path less traveled and to get there we will have to leave our own footprints. The pathway to opportunities is found was we are willing to work hard to reach them.

To discover a whole new world we will have to think in terms that we have not thought in the past and to take the actions that others are unwilling take.
