The Big Difference Between a Worry and a Concern

The Big Difference Between a Worry and a Concern
“There is a great difference between worry and concern. A
worried person sees a problem and a concerned person
solves the problem.”
Harold Stephens, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

The big difference between a worry and a concern

Worry is focused on the problem . . . . and the past.

Your thinking is stuck in the past worrying about something that has taken place. Worrying creates a negative mindset and focuses you energy and thinking on the problem.

The key is there is no amount of worrying that you can do that will cure the problem.

A concern is in the here and now . . . . and focusing your energy and efforts on finding a solution to the concern. When you are focused on the solution you are focusing your thinking forward to remove the concern.

The big difference between a worry and a concern . . . .worrying keeps you locked into the past. Worrying will also create a great deal of stress in your life without finding the resolution to the problem.

Your concern becomes an actionable and manageable condition that with forethought and effort can be successfully be put to rest.

The big difference between a worry and a concern . . . . is in how you look at it . . . . and what you do about it.

Recognize the Opportunity

Motivational Power Quote

Recognize the Opportunity
“Each problem has hidden in it an opportunity so powerful that it literally
dwarfs the problem. The greater success stories were
created by people who recognized a problem and turned it
into an opportunity.”
Joseph Sugarman

As I see it . . . . . . .

Recognize the opportunity

When you are faced with a problem . . . . you can focus on the problem. Or you can focus on the solution.

It’s far easier to see the problem . . . . Because you see the problem you focus your time and efforts on the problem. In the long run your time and efforts become misplaced . . . . because your looking in the wrong direction.

A problem is a condition . . . . that needs to be resolved.

When you’re faced with a problem . . . . focus on the solution and you’ll focusing on bring the problem to a successful conclusion.

A problem is a condition . . . . finding the solution to the problem creates the opportunity.

Recognize the opportunity . . . . in the problem and the opportunities will open the doors to greater success.
