As I see it . . . . . . .
Your values becomes your compass
Through-out your career you will be
asked to make choices . . . . In those choices there will be times that others
would want to influence your moral compass for their person gain.
They will ask you to stretch your values
in the wrong direction and to stretch the truth, just a little . . . . or to
look the other way. They will follow it up with . . . . nobody gets hurt, no
one will know . . . . or in the long run no one will care.
They’re asking you to compromise your
values and put your moral compass away.
No matter who that person is . . . . they
are not your friend and they are not looking out for you or your interests.
They are self-severing and will put you under the bus in a heartbeat.
Your values are the foundation to your
character and your reputation. Tarnish them and you can destroy your career
Your values becomes your compass . . .
use your values to guide you and you will be on the right path.
