Getting Around Too It

Getting Around Too It
“I remember reading somewhere about an organization
called Procrastinators Anonymous. I think they had
been in existence for some years but had never gotten
around to having a meeting.”
Source Unknown

As I see it . . . . . . .

Getting around too it

The procrastinator will put off what can be done today . . . . to some undetermined in the future.

The procrastinator . . . . will wait for the right time . . . . they mean the really right time.

The procrastinator . . . . will never jump into something new . . . . and they will hold off doing what they have been doing.

The procrastinator . . . . will never rush into anything first thing in the morning.

The procrastinator . . . . will try not to start anything to close to lunch.

The procrastinator . . . . will not want to get involved to close to quitting time.

The procrastinator . . . . has a big getting around too it list . . . . but they don’t want to rush into anything.

There are Many Aspects of Success

There are Many Aspects of Success
“There are many aspects to success: material wealth is only one
component . . . . But success also includes good health, energy
and enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative
freedom, emotional and psychological stability, a sense
of well-being, and peach of mind.”
Deepak Chopra, Indian – American Author,
Holistic Health/ New Age Guru

As I see it . . . . . . .

There are many aspects of success

It becomes easy to be trapped into defining what success really is.

For one person it becomes the money  . . . . for Mother Teresa it was her service to mankind.

For each person must define what success means to them . . . .

In order for you to follow your dreams and stretch yourself to reach your goals you have a clear vision of what they are.

ASK YOUSELF . . . . what does success mean to you? What are the benchmarks that will tell you that your on or off course? And what are the stepping stones that will move you closer to success.

There are many aspects of success . . . . when you follow your passion you create a purpose in your life. Define what success means to you and follow you dreams and goals . . . . not what you think your dreams and goals should be.

There are many aspects of success . . . . define the direction that you want your success journey to take and go after it with the determination to live it.

Accomplishment is a Process

Accomplishment is a Process
“Too often, people focus only on the results, But getting results
without learning something or without having fun are incomplete.
So is having fun without getting the results, or having fun without
learning something new to help and empower you in the future.
Accomplishment is all three: results, personal growth
and having fun.”
Peter L. Hirsch, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Accomplishment is a process

Accomplishing greater success in your life . . . . becomes a process not an event.

To accomplish anything meaningful in your life, you first have to know what you want . . . . and how important it is for you to accomplish it.

When you know what you want to accomplish put it into writing. Once that’s done put them into their order of importance with written goals and a plan to accomplish them.

Your written list becomes your goals and your purpose on your success journey.

Here’s the key . . . .

1.    Know what your desired outcome is . . . . and commit yourself toachieving that successful outcome.

2.    Evaluate your current skill sets . . . . and determine what personal growth will be required to get you to your objectives.

3.     Enjoy your success journey . . . .  and have fun along the way.

Accomplishment is a process . . . . The stronger your commitment is to achieving your goals . . . . the stronger your determination will be to achieve them.

Success is Hard Work

Success is Hard Work
“If life was so easy that you could just go buy success, there would
be a lot more successful companies in the world. Successful
enterprises are build from the ground up.”
Lou Gerstner, Former Chairman of the Board and
CEO of IBM

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success is hard work

In fact the great things in your life are not handed to you . . . . What you want in your life including success takes commitment . . . . determination . . . . and hard work.

Lasting success is built on a solid foundation . . . . One that will withstand the storms that you encounter on your success journey . . . . and in the changing conditions that you will experience.

Hard work is the toll you pay today to take a journey of a lifetime. One that will move you in the direction of your goals . . . . and will become a major factor in reaching your long term objectives.

The price may seem high in the beginning of your success journey . . . . but without paying the tolls of your efforts success become elusive.

Success is paid for in advance . . . . in the way of your efforts to reach you goals and to enjoy the benefits of your success.

Success is hard work . . . . For those who are willing to step up and expend the effort will find themselves enjoying the benefits of their efforts.

People are Unique

People are Unique
“Homogeneity makes for healthy milk but anemic friendship
that cross culturally imposed lines to enlarge our hearts
and expand our vistas .”
Dan Schmidt, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

People are unique

People are unique . . . . and one size doesn’t fit all.

People respond differently to the same condition . . . . and they need to be respected for their difference.

People want to be heard . . . . listen to them . . . . and you will build rapport with them. Has you listen to them you will understand them . . . . and discover their uniqueness.

The key is to recognize the person for who they are . . . . When you recognize the person for who they are and their uniqueness you’ll be able to effectively communicate with them as a unique person. This will result in building a bond of mutual trust with them.

When you respect a person for their uniqueness . . . . they will sense it and it will become the stepping stone to creating a strong relationship with the person.

People are unique . . . . discover that uniqueness in them and you will have the key to both successful personal and business relationships.

Maximize Your Resources
“The world does not pay for what a person knows, but it pays
for what a person does with what he knows.”
Laurence Lee

As I see it . . . . . . .

Maximize your Resources

Over your lifetime you will be compensated for you do . . . .

To reach your full potential in you’re earning . . . . you have to maximize your resources and get the most out of what you have.

Within you there is a vast store of information . . . . knowledge . . . . and talent. You HAVE TO MAXIMIZE YOUR RESOUCES AND TALENT to realize your full income potential.

People are not all created with an equal amount of resources. There are some people with more resources then you have . . . . and there are some people with less resources then you have.

Here’s the key point it’s not about other people . . . . not about there resources . . . . or what they do with their resources. It about what you and what you do with your resources.

Maximize your resources . . . . and you will maximize your earning potential.

Success is an on Purpose Activity

Success is an on Purpose Activity
“I don’t wait for moods; you accomplish nothing if you do that.
Your mind must know it has got to get down to work.”
Pearl Buck 1882 – 1973, American Writer, Novelist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success is an on purpose activity

Success is found in wearing away the obstacles that you encounter . . . . Not in waiting for just the right time to start.

Success is an on purpose activity . . . . one that deeply rooted in the determination to successfully achieve your goals.

Success is not a chance encounter . . . . it’s journey of purpose and one of commitment and dedication.

Success is not found in being an overnight sensation . . . .  success is found in staying on purpose and being committed to your values.

Success is found in being of service to your customers . . . . and in meeting and exceeding their expectations.

Success is found in putting one foot in front of the other . . . . and in moving in the direction of your goals . . . . when you feel to exhausted to take another step.

Success is an on purpose activity . . . . and a journey of a lifetime.
