The Power of Experience

Motivational Power Quote

The Power of Experience
“Experience is the child of thought,
and thought is the child of action.”
Benjamin Disraeli, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

As I see it . . . . . . .

The power of experience

Experiences in your life is a powerful force, it can stimulate your thoughts, change the direction of your life, create lasting relationships and cause you to take action.

For others it can cause a person to go into a shell, withdraw from life, shut down and give up.

You can’t always control the external aspects of your life. But you can control what you do with what comes into your life in others words you have the control to shape the experiences in your life.

You control the experiences in your life through your thoughts.

If you view a condition as overwhelming in your thoughts, it will be just that. If you see the condition as manageable you will find that it is.

When you believe in yourself in your thoughts you will have confidence in your actions and gain greater control of your life.

Experiences come into your life and will impact your thinking. What you think about your experiences will create the foundation for your future action.

The power of experience will be your bridge to your future. With positive thinking you create the foundation for positive actions.

Made the Extra Effort

Motivational Power Quote

Made the Extra Effort
“Defeat is not the worst of failure,
not to have tried is the true failure.”
George Edward Woodberry, literary critic

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Made the extra effort

When a task has to be done make every effort to do what has to be done to do the best of your ability. And then give it an extra effort to insure the success of your efforts.

Our efforts are not always enough to insure success and there are times that we’ll experience setbacks or failure. When that occurs we have to pick ourselves up and try again and to make the extra effort to get back on track.

We will never fail unless we give up and when your make the extra effort it becomes hard to give up.

Motivational Power Quote

Every Decision is a Choice
“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself.
Whatever has to be done it’s
always a choice.”
Dr. Wayne Dryer, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Every decision is a choice

Every decision you make is a choice and those choice will determine the path we follow and the life we lead.

You have the choice to travel down the path of prosperity or take a dead end road. You can choose to be successful and work hard to achieve success or you can choose to go along with the flow.

You are responsible for your decisions, your choices and your results.

We can complain about your station in life or you can make the choices to change it and create the station in life that you want.

Every decision is a choice and it’s you choice on what you do in that moment of choice.

The Canvass of Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

The Canvass of Your Life
“You are the masterpiece of your own life;
you are the Michelangelo of your experience.
The David that you are sculpting is you.
And you do it with your thoughts.”
Dr. Joe Vitale, Motivational author and speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The canvass of your life

What Michelangelo did with a paint brush, he first started as a vision in his thinking. Michelangelo painted his masterpieces in his thoughts and transferred those thoughts onto the canvass.

As a result of Michelangelo having the vision of what he wanted to paint he was able to paint his masterpieces and leave his footprints in the sand of time.

What do you want the canvass of your life to look like?

Do you want to leave your footprints in the sands of time?

Are willing to paint the canvass for your life as you want it to be?

You can paint anything on your canvass that you choose to paint. With a clear vision for your life you can paint a masterpiece.

Your future holds unlimited opportunities, when you believe they are there for you.

You can climb a mountain when you believe you can.

The canvass of your life will be painted with the visions that are in your thoughts that you act on.

Excellence is not exceptions it is a prevailing attitude.”
Colin Powell, Secretary of State

As I see it . . . . . . .
The Secret of excellences
The secret of excellences is not mystical it’s in plain sight for those who seek it out.

Excellence is in the prevailing attitude of the person that’s providing the goods or services that takes them to the top.
It’s an attitude of to do more than what expected, to exceed expectations and to do it with excellence.
The attitude of excellences begins with the psychology of doing the things that you do with excellences.
When you continually do the small things in life with excellences you create and develop the habit excellence. That habit becomes ingrained in your thinking and becomes part of your business habits.

The habit of excellences continues to grows and the small things that you have done with excellences will become the big things.
The secret of excellence is in your prevailing attitude and that attitude is reflected in your actions.

Successful Negotiations

Motivational Power Quote

Successful Negotiations
“What is great the art of beginning,
but greater is the art of ending.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, poet

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Successful negotiations . . . . has a start, middle and ending

All successful negotiations start with a proper mindset and a plan to negotiate a successful outcome.

You will need to understand your objectives in the negotiations before you start and the objectives of the other person. You also have to have a plan B to fall back on if the negotiations reach an impasse.

An excellent start to the negotiations moves the negotiations in the right direction from the beginning and sets the tone for successful negotiations and outcome.

A negotiation is a process that when you combine an excellent start and middle we create a successful conclusion to the negotiations.

Successful negotiations . . . . has a start, middle and ending.

When You’re Facing a Mountain Climb It

Motivational Power Quote

When You’re Facing a Mountain Climb It
“Remember when you see a man
at the top of a mountain,
he didn’t fall there.”
Unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you’re facing a mountain climb it

The mountain that you’re looking at may be a challenge that you’re facing or an obstacle that appears to be standing in the way of your success journey.

You can face the mountain in your thinking and in the way you look at things. You may have to adjust your thinking to get you back on track or to restart your engine.

You will face many mountains on our success journey some passing very quickly while others will more time and effort to overcome.

The mountain will not be climbed by looking at it; you climb the mountain one step at the time.

When you face the mountain climb it. Plan your way to the top and focus on the activities that will create the momentum to reach the highest peaks.

Making It Happen

Motivational Power Quote

Making It Happen
“People spend too much time finding other to blame,
too much energy finding excuses for not being
what they are capable of being,
and not energy putting themselves on the line,
growing out of the past,
and getting on with their lives.”
J. Michael Straczynski, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Making it happen

Making excuses is a complete waste of time and energy. When you’re done making excuses you lose your forward momentum and will very likely take seven steps backwards in your life.

Your time is far better invested in finding solutions then in excuse making.

You make it happen when you find solutions.

Put your time and energy into positive and productive activities and you will create forward momentum and the end of the day you will have invested your time to move closer to your goals.

To make it happen is a success philosophy and is achieved one day at the time.

The Quiet Voice of Courage

Motivational Power Quote

The Quiet Voice of Courage
“Courage does not always roar . . .
Sometimes it is a quiet voice at the end of the day,
saying . . . I will try again tomorrow.”
Mary Anne Radmacher, inspirational writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

The quiet voice of courage

There are days that instead of making progress it seem that you have taken a giant step backwards.

At the end of the day you have to make a decision to take what life gives you or to have the courage to pick yourself up and to dust yourself off and to say to yourself I will try again tomorrow.

It may not seem like a big thing at the time. But when you pick yourself up and push forward you have taken a massive step in achieving your goals.

In that simple act courage you have told yourself that you will not surrender to life’s setbacks and that you believe in yourself and will continue to push forward.

The quiet voice of courage may start out as a whisper but when you believe in yourself it will turn into a roar.

Are You Prepared to Give it Your All?

Motivational Power Quote

Are You Prepared to Give it Your All?
“Few men during their lifetime anywhere
near exhausting the resources dwelling within them.
there’re deep well’s of strength that are never used.”
Richard Byrd, explorer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Are you prepared to give it your all?

When you’re willing to give it your all you open the door to amazing accomplishments.

Success is found when you’re willing to push yourself and in going the extra mile to achieve the desired result.

Sliding by and doing the easy will not create lasting success or sustain a career at a successful level.

To achieve your goals are you prepared to give it your all? Will you stretch your limits and will you move out of your comfort zone?

Success is not found in the status quo, it’s found when you reach into your inner strength and give it your all.

When you’re driven you will find the inner strength to what you will have to do to achieve your goals. Your inner strength will be re-nourished with your inner drive.

Are you prepared to give it your all and to take your career and life to the next level?

Break Down the Barriers of Resistance

Motivational Power Quote

Break Down the Barriers of Resistance
“It’s the constant and determined effort
that breaks down all resistance and sweeps away obstacles.”
Claude M. Bristol, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Break down the barriers of resistance

A life without obstacles and resistance leads you on a path to nowhere.

The only way you can go through life without encountering obstacles and resistance is to lead a life of not trying, which will take you to a dead end.

Obstacles, challenges, resistance, setbacks and failure are all part of our lives journey and becomes part of the price you pay to success. People that have reached the heights of success have all experienced resistance on their success journey and with determination overcame them.

One people that comes to mind is Thomas A. Edison the inventor of the incandescent light bulb. The invention of the light bulb changed the world in his day. It changed from world from candles to light there the night to electric to show them the way.

Along his way to perfecting the incandescent light bulb he was able to identify 10,000 ways that the light bulb would not work. Thomas A. Edison persistence and determination eroded the obstacles that he encountered in his experiments. In his persistence he broke down the resistance and created the breakthrough and invented the incandescent light bulb that lighted the world.

The Mindset of a Champion

Motivational Power Quote

The Mindset of a Champion
“I’m willing to put myself through anything;
temporary pain or discomfort nothing means anything to me
as long as I can see that the experience will
take me to a new level.”
Diana Nyad, swimmer

As I see it . . . . . . .

The mindset of a champion

A champion can visualize the event that they will participate in their thoughts with clarity.

They will play and replay the event over and over in the thoughts until the event become real in there thinking. They see themselves performing in the event in fine detail. Their heart rate will increase; their muscles will be tense as a result of the mental image in their mind.

A mindset of a champion is to prepare themselves both mentally and physically to compete in the event at the highest possible level and to win.

A champion has mentally prepared themselves to be in a mental state to win and go into the event with confidence in their abilities to succeed.

A champion athlete trains hard to complete. In order to be completive they have push themselves hard and are willing to work through the pain of training and the pressure of the event.

The mindset of a champion understand that success has cost, the cost pushing yourself to stay at the top of your profession and determination to push through the challenges that you encounter.
