Your associations will impact your life

We will be judged by the people that we associate with. Associated with positive people and we will be judged as a mirror image of that person.

Surround yourself with people with strong character and they will cast a long shadow in our direction. 

The people that we elect to associate with will impact our life, our business endeavors and our reputation.

Choose your associations carefully. Build a network of positive people with strong values that will be there to support you when it’s needed and be there for you in your hour of need.

As important as it is for others to be there for you, it’s equally important to create a network of people that your there for them. When you create a network of people that you’re willing to nurture and help without looking for something in return you expand your sphere of influence and in time everyone comes out a winner.

Your associations will impact your life and you get to choose the direction that your life takes.

As I see it . . . . . . .

Positive self-talk

Each of us has a running dialog going on with our self it’s our self-talk, our inner voice speaking to us.

Self–talk is a very interesting concept and it varies from individual to individual, but we all do it. Self-talk can be positive and propel a person forward or self-talk can be negative and bring a career to a dead stop.

Positive self-talk can encourage you to push pass a setback that could hold you back if you don’t keep pushing forward. It’s your inner voice say go head a do it, keep going, keep on trying and don’t give up. 

Your self-talk can also come into your thought process as limiting believes. They are thoughts that tell us it can’t be done or don’t try. Limiting believes come through as self-talk and bring out negative thinking that can sabotage your career and forward momentum.

Disconnect the negative self-talk. If you find yourself drifting into the realm of negative thinking, change the conversation that you’re having with yourself. Focus your inner voice and thoughts on positive thinking until you remove the negative thoughts from the dialog.

Positive self-talk will lift you, negative self-talk will sink you.

We have the good fortune that we’re able to look back at hundreds of years of art and see the world through the eyes of the artist.

Their artwork can relate to the artist and what they feeling at the time and the mood that they were seeing the world when they painted the artwork.

Do you want some cheese to go with the whine?

Did you ever feel like asking a whiner if they wanted some cheese to go along with the whine?

Whiner make you feel like your head is going to explode an they replay the same things over and over. Their whining just goes on and on with no other purpose but to whine.

There is a big difference between explaining a condition or an issue and whining.

When you’re reviewing a condition or issues it’s based on facts. You will either be looking to solve a problem, looking for solutions or talking about how not to repeat the same problem again. The conversation is proactive and looking for answers.

Whining is on auto play and the person has no other purpose than to whine.

The next time you encounter a whiner, ask them “do you want some cheese to go with the whine” or just run for cover. Running for cover is the best bet.

A person with weak beliefs in a thing will cause them to make a decision either to make an attempt without passion. With weak beliefs the results will either be a failed attempt or they will just look the other way and essential sit it out and take no action what so ever.

Your beliefs can determine the outcome of your action before you ever take the first step.

Your beliefs determine your course of actions, the amount of intensity that you will apply and if you stick to the thing until it’s achieved.

If we carefully plant and nurture the seeds for our success we will grow a bountiful crop to harvest. If we focus on the harvest and fail to nurture our crops the yield will be sub-par. 

What we plant and nurture will come back to us with dividend.

We determine what seeds we will plant to grow our careers. We will determine how deep we plant our crops and we will determine the level that we will nurture our corps.

What we sow in life we harvest, plant the garden of life and nurture it to be a bountiful harvest.
