Match and mirror successful people

Successful people form success habits and traits.

If you where to study successful people you’ll find that they repeat the same patterns over and over and as a result they have created the habits of success.

If we where to match and mirror a successful persons behavior over and over we would take on the habits of a successful person and over time we would achieve the same results as they are achieving.

A case in point: I had the opportunity to meet and to coach a new sales professional she had worked with the company for a short time and her career seemed to stuck in neutral.

She told me that her efforts have been scattered and her successes have very limited. At the time she lacked goals and direction.

We worked on what she wanted to achieve in her real estate career and created clearly defined written goals and a plan to achieve the desired outcome.

Having worked the company I asked her who she admired most in the company and who she would like to be most like. She indentified one of the top producers in the company.

We set up a meeting at Starbucks with the three of us. When we met with the top producer I shared with her that the new sales professional admired her for her professionalism and success. I also explained that the new profession would like to match the success of the top producer.

The season professional said that she would gladly help the new professional.

In speaking with the both sales professional I explained the process of matching and mirroring and the benefits both would receive from the process.  I asked the new sales professional to make a three month commitment to match and mirror the top producer.

Over the next three month the new sales professional became a mirror image of the top producer. As result her career became focused. She was working on achieving her goals and she took on the characteristics of top producer.

The top producer said she also benefited from the experience because she became more aware of her activities and made some adjustment to sharpening her skills.    

Match and mirror the person that you most admirer and would like to be like. In time you will become a mirror image of that person and your results will closely match that of the person that your matching and mirroring.
