A blog should be written to . . . .

Deliver a message to a target audience . . . .

To communicate a clear message . . . .

To create a professional image . . . .

To socially connect with other people . . . .

To inform and transfer information . . . .

To expand your business . . . .

To sell your services or products . . . .

To differentiate youreslf from your competitors . . . .  

To expand your social network . . . .

It should not be used to whine . . . .

It should not be used as a bully forum . . . .

With a blog people will judge you by your message and from a distances . . . . Your message will have to be clear and reach your target audience with relative information to be effective.

A blog should be written to communicate and with a purpose . . . . and when your message is on purpose you will have your target audience attention.
