Finish What You Start
“Much of the stress that people feel
doesn’t come from having too
much to do. It comes from not finishing
what they started.”
David Allen, Author and Productivity
Consultant,
As I see it . . . . . . .
Finish what you start
One of the major sources of stress in a
person’s life . . . . Is the stress resulting from leaving things left undone.
Leaving things undone compounds . . . .
increasing the pressure on you . . . .
and creating stress. The more that you leave undone the greater your
stress becomes.
When your list of things left undone
grows it distorts your capacity to think clearly . . . . and cloud your
decision making. It will also cause a downward spiral in your productivity. If
it’s not dealt with it can freeze you into inaction and bring the forward
momentum in your career to a standstill.
Think about this . . . .
If it’s worthwhile it worth doing it
with excellences . . . . and finishing it successfully.
If it’s not worthwhile . . . . Why are
you even doing it?
Finish what you start . . . . and finish
it successfully. From that success you will feel a sense of pride in what you
did . . . . and a sense of accomplishment in getting it done.
