Innovation is a Process
“Sometimes when you innovate, you make
mistakes. It is best
to admit them quickly and get on with
improving
your other innovations.”
Steve Jobs 1955 - 2011, Entrepreneur, Marketer,
Inventor,
Co-Founder of Apple, Chairman and CEO of
Apple Inc
As I see it . . . . . . .
Innovation is a process
When you innovate you will be thinking
out of the box . . . . using your creative talents to find the answers. Also an
innovator will push their limits to create the breakthrough.
An innovator lives on the edge . . . .
and on that edge they will make mistakes.
Mistakes are part of the growth cycle in
life . . . . when your stretching yourself forward mistakes will happen.
When you make a mistake . . . . admit as
quickly as possible. Look for the solutions to the mistake . . . . implement
the solutions . . . . solve the condition . . . . and move pass it as soon as
possible.
The key is admitting the mistake and
focusing on the solutions and you are investing your time in resolving the
mistake and putting the mistake behind you.
Innovation is a process . . . . and in
that process there will be mistakes. Innovator . . . . admit their mistake . .
. . find a solution . . . . and move on.
