A Natural Touch

Motivational Power Quote

A Natural Touch
“There is no such thing as a natural touch. Touch is something
you create by hitting millions of golf balls.”
Lee Trevino, Golfer

As I see it . . . . . . .

A natural touch

You see it in every profession . . . . The players and the entertainers make it look easy and you hear people refer to them as being a natural or have a natural touch in what they do.

The people that make it look easy . . . . invest a massive amount of time of efforts behind the scene.  They work on perfecting their skills to the level to where their performance seems flawless.

Having a natural touch comes to life with dedication, hard work, commitment and determination. A person with a natural touch is not born with it. They acquire it through hard work.

The person with a natural touch . . . . has a purpose of being the best at what they do. They work at it with a passion to acquire the skills that will put them in the forefront of their profession.

Confidence is the Result of . . . .

Motivational Power Quote

Confidence is the Result of . . . .
“Confidence is the most important single factor in this game,
and no matter how great your talent, there is only one way
to obtain it - work.”
Jack Nicklaus, professional golfer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Confidence is the result of . . . .

Champions in every walk of life have it.

It shows on the field of play and when a person walks into a business meeting or a room. It radiates from their personally and from their performance.

The people who have it, makes things look easy and they are in command of the situation and their emotions.

What they have is confidence . . . . they are confident in themselves, in their decisions, and in their action.

People are not born with confidence they work hard and prepare themselves to develop it.

A person puts themselves into the position to succeed and prepares themselves to become a champion. The person that’s prepared has confidence in their actions as a result of their preparation.

We see the champion on the field of play. What we don’t see is that the champion in any field of endeavor has worked hard to become a champion and have prepared themselves to compete at a high level.

Confidence is the result of . . . . our hard work and preparation.

The Clearer the Goals The More Focused You Become

Motivational Power Quote

The Clearer the Goals The More Focused You Become
“In the absence of clearly – defined goals,
we become strangely loyal to performing
daily trivia ultimately we become enslaved by it.”
Robert Heinlein, American novelist

As I see it . . . . . . .

The clearer the goals the more focused you become

A person with clear goals moves through their days with a sense of purpose. There is very little wasted effort because you know where they’re going and how you’re going to get there.

With written goals you will have far more on control of your time and you will find yourself achieving more in less time.

You will be able to measure your results against your goals and business plan. Written goals will allow you to measure your progress and to make course adjustment quicker to keep your efforts moving in the right direction.

Performance can be tied directly to written goals. The people with written goals are on the leading edge of success and will achieve far more than those who have no written goals.

The clearer the goals the more focused you become and with that focus you will achieve your goals and become a leader in your profession.

Our Toughest Competition

   Motivational Power Quote

Our Toughest Competition

“Set higher standards for your own performance
then anyone around you,
and it won’t matter whether you have
a tough boss or an easy one.
it’s won’t matter whether the competition
is pushing you hard,
because you’ll be competing
with yourself.”
Rick Pitino, basketball coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Our toughest competition

Our toughest competition is in your thoughts and those thoughts will influence your actions. Set higher standards for yourself and become better today then you were yesterday.

Our toughest competition is ourselves.

We compete with ourselves everyday to make ourselves better and to make our best effort.
