The Modern-Day Entrepreneur

Motivational Power Quote

The Modern-Day Entrepreneur
“Going into business for yourself, becoming an entrepreneur,
is the modern-day equivalent of pioneering on the old frontier.”
Paul Nelson, American Philosopher of Science

As I see it . . . . . . .

The modern-day entrepreneur

The entrepreneur is the back bone of business in the country and a major job creator.

They go to work every day without a guaranteed pay check, but the entrepreneur goes to work and keeps pushing. They are the small business owners and the independent contractors and the heart of a hard working country.

They are very often overlooked for what they contribute to the economy but they are out there making it happen with very little fanfare.

The real estate business will be involved with over 6 million home sales this year countless rental, commercial sales and rentals, land sales and business opportunities transactions.

The modern-day entrepreneur will become is big factor in the economies turn around and the future job creation.

The Power of Self Motivation

Motivational Power Quote

The Power of Self-Motivation
“People who are unable to motivate themselves
must be content with mediocrity,
no matter how impress their other talents.”
Andrew Carnegie 1835 - 1919, Scottish American Industrialist

As I see it . . . . . . .

The power of self-motivation

There are times that we have to stand alone and face the world. In those moments we have the future in our hands and in those moments we create our destiny.

In those moments we have to be self-sufficient to stand alone and to draw on the resource of our inner motivation to drive us forward.

The person that has the self-motivation creates a pathway to achieve their goals and to become a leader in their chosen field.

When you release the power of self motivation you create the fuel to reach for greatness and to achieve it. Your motivation will come to the surface in challenging time and become a stimulus to push through your challenges and to propel you forward to greater success.

The power of self motivation will become a driving force in your life and will inspire you to stay on purpose and to stay the course.

A Fork in The Road

Motivational Power Quote

A Fork in The Road
“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a
Cheshire cat in a tree. ‘Which road do I take?’
She asked. ‘Where do you want to go?’
Was his response. ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered.
‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.”
Lewis Carroll 1832 - 1898, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

A fork in the road

What will you do when you come to a fork in the road?

The answer to that question comes in do you know where you want to go?

When you know where you want to go you have direction in your life and you will take the fork that will move you in the direction of your objectives and goals.

You take the fork in the road with a purpose.

For those who don’t have goals take a fork in the road is like taking a shot in the dark you won’t know what you will hit or if you will hit anything.

Without goals you take the fork in the road without purpose or direction.

When you know where you want to go, you have a purpose and you will be able to focus your time and activities on getting you to your objectives.

With goals when you come to a fork in the road you will know the direction that you will have to take to achieve your goals.

Entrepreneurs Find a Way To Get it Done

Motivational Power Quote

Entrepreneurs Find a Way To Get it Done
“The entrepreneur is essentially a visualizer and actualizer,
he can visualize something, and when he visualizes it,
he sees exactly how to make it happen.”
Robert L. Schwartz, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Entrepreneurs find a way to get it done

When you meet a successful entrepreneur they will tell you what they’re going to do. They will go about their business with an air of positive expectations and find a way to get it done.

Entrepreneurs not restricted to old methods they will get on the cutting edge and try new things. They are focused on getting it done and will make the adjustments to get them successfully to their objectives.

They can visualize what they want to do and will blaze the trail to do it, while other people are saying it can’t be done.

Entrepreneurs are out of the box in their thinking. They don’t see things as black or white they will work in the gray zone to get things together and to get them done.

It‘s not that entrepreneurs don’t have setbacks or fail because they do, but they experience far more successe because an entrepreneur finds a way to get it done.

We Will be Known For What we Do

Motivational Power Quote

We Will be Known For What we Do
“I always remember an epitaph in the cemetery at Tombstone Arizona. It says: Here lies Jack Williams ‘He gave his damnedest’.
I think that’s the greatest epitaph a man can have.”
Harry Truman 33rd President of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

We will be known for what we do

People will know us and remember us by what we do.

They will judge us by successfully meeting and exceed their expectations.

People don’t want talk they want us to do what we say we will do and do it when we say we will do it. They don’t want excuses or a story they want results.

We will be known for what we do . . . . and they will never forget what we didn’t do.

Statistics show that approximately 80% of business is being done either by word of mouth referrals or based on past business relationships. We will either earn our future business by giving our damnedest and wowing our customers or we lose the business with average service.

We will be known for what we do and what we do will affect our career and business success.

Know When to Embrace the New

Motivational Power Quote

Know When to Embrace the New
“The most successful businessman is the man who holds
onto the old just as long as it is good and grabs the
new just as soon as it is better.”
Robert P. Vanderpoel, Financial Columnist Chicago Sun-Times

As I see it . . . . . . .

Know when to embrace the new

The business world is a world of constant change. To remain relevant we have to know what is working and worth holding on to and what is outdated and needs to be replaced.

Hanging onto old outdated methods to long can jeopardize the stability of a business and seriously affect the business position in the market place. Over time the business that fails to adjust will become uncompetitive and if changes are not made the business will fail.

As a business professional we have to continually evaluate our business, our business model and evolve to ensure that we are using the right tools of the trade.

Adjust and embrace change by removing what’s old and outdated and knowing when to embrace the new it will keep you and your business on the leading edge in your field of endeavor.

Worry is Friction of the Mind

Motivational Power Quote

Worry is Friction of the Mind
“It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy;
you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear.
But worry is rust upon the blade.
It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction.”
Henry Ward Beecher 1813 - 1887, Congregationalist Clergyman, Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Worry is friction of the mind

The more you worry the more friction you create in your mind and that worry stresses your mind into inaction and marginal decision making.

A mind works best when you’re thinking clearly, worry clouds your thinking and creates a fog in your thinking process. When you’re worrying you will make a reactive decision. In most case that decision will be ineffective and will not produce the desired results and may very likely move you further away from your objectives.

A worry has to be defined and broken down into what you can do with the condition that’s creating the worry and what you can do to resolve the condition.

A worry that you alluded to go unchecked will take control of your life, and very likely will put you and your life into a tail spin.

Address the worry look for the best way to control the worry and do something proactive to remove the root cause of the worry from your thinking and from your life.

Worry is friction of the mind, remove the worry and you will remove the friction and you will restore clarity in your thinking.
