Solve the problem on the spot
The longer a problem exists the more it
becomes a condition that can grow and increase in its complexity. Unsolved problem
seem to grow legs and take on a life of their own.
A problem that’s addressed and solved on
the spot has the capacity to quickly resolve the issue with the less negative effects
on those involved.
Solving problems on the spot becomes a
win-win situation.
When the problem involves customers they
don’t want to hear stories about it’s not your job, they want the problem
solved on the spot. When the customer is right make it right. When the customer
is wrong do your best for the customer and in the conditions that you find
yourself in.
Delaying and then doing the right thing
will leave the customer with a poor impression regarding the service and the integrity
of the company and the person providing the service.
Make the commitment to solve the problem
on the spot and you will find yourself having less problems, more effective use
of your time more business and more referrals.
