I believe Steve Jobs lived the life in the philosophy of his quote.

All of our lives have a time stamp on it; we just don’t know when it will expire.

Live the life in your heart and you will live a life of personal fulfillment. Living a life to fill other people’s vision of who you should leads to living a life of regret.

Listen to the inner voice in your heart and have the courage to step out of the box and follow the vision of your dreams.
