Motivational Power Quote
Talking is Not Knowing
“People who know little are usually
great takers,
while men who know much say little.”
Jean
Jacques Rousseau 1712 – 1778, writer, composer and French expressionless
As I see it . . . . . . .
Talking is not knowing
People with knowledge have confidence in
themselves and in their knowledge.
They have learned much over the years by
listening and observing, they also understand that when they are talking they
are not learning.
When you engage a person with a depth of
knowledge we learn more from them by listening and asking them questions, then
we do by talking.
The person doesn’t have to speak to have
authority or to impact a discussion. They also understand less is more and they
will speak at the appropriate time and speak directly to the point.
Talking is not knowing, and in many
cases the person is attempting to talk their way around the fact that lack the
knowledge.
