When No One is Looking

Motivational Power Quote

When No One is Looking
“Character is doing the right thing when nobody’s looking. There
are too many people who think that the only thing that’s right
is to got by, and only thing that’s wrong is to get caught.”
J.C. Watts, Politician, Football Player

As I see it . . . . . . .

When no one is looking

Character is earned . . . . in the many things that you do when no one is looking.

Character is in doing the right thing . . . . even when there’s no one there to see what your doing . . . .  and you can slide by doing less.

There are two very important elements of character . . . . One is the way others see you and the other is the way you see yourself.

How others see you is through and accumulation of your actions. They will make a decision if they can trust you . . . . if they see you as a honest person . . . . and if you put their needs ahead of your own interests. Most of all do they see you has a person of character and someone they would business with?

How do you see yourself?

Are you consistently meeting and exceeding your customers expectations . . . . or are your services falling short.

Are you delivering on your commitments to your customers?

The way the customers see you is there perception of you . . . . and there perception is there really.

How you see yourself . . . . is your self-image.

When you look at yourself as it relates to your service to others . . . . can  you look at it through the prism of being honest with yourself.

Only when you can be honest with yourself . . . .  when no one is looking can you establish a reputation and earn the title of being a person of character.

Are Your Goals Stretching You?

Motivational Power Quote

Are Your Goals Stretching You?
“Most People are not going after what they want. Even some of
the most serious goals seekers and goal setters, they’re going
after what they can get.”
Bob Proctor, Author, Lecturer, Business Consultant,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Are your goals stretching you?

Your goals should be a little out of your reach . . . . and outside of your comfort zone.

When your goals are within your comfort zone . . . . they may be easier to achieve.  They will lack lasting value . . . . and they will have minimal impact on your future success and in your career.
