Your Greatest Lessons are in the Journey

Your Greatest Lessons are in the Journey
“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are
ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey not
the destination.”

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your greatest lessons are in the journey

When You Believe in Yourself
“Believe in yourself and there will come a day when others

Navigating the Uncharted Path

Your success journey at times becomes an uncharted path.

Your success journey is not a destination . . . . it’s a direction and becomes the path and a continued process of striving to achieve your goals, objectives and desired outcomes.

The journey at many times becomes uncharted and when that occurs you may feel uncertainty in yourself and your direction. At those times you have to evaluate your plan . . . . get our bearing . . . . reset your course and keep move forward  believing in your abilities and confidence in yourself to achieve your desired outcome.

Be determined and commit yourself to your success journey . . . . and to navigate an uncharted path that lies in front of you.

True success comes in your ability in navigating the uncharted path . . . . not in following in someone’s footsteps.

Be an Unlimited Thinker

Be an Unlimited Thinker
“There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls
around the spirit, no barriers to our progress
expect those we ourselves erect.”
Ronald Reagan, The 40th President of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

Be an unlimited thinker

Don’t become trapped into limited thinking . . . .

You opportunities and possibilities are as big as your thinking.

Unlimited thinking creates a world of opportunities.

Limited thinking . . . . create barriers to your forward progress.

With unlimited thinking a barrier becomes. . . . a mere speed bump and a resolvable condition.

Open your mind think in term of what can be . . . . and your thinking is in terms of unlimited possibilities.

Be an unlimited thinker . . . . and you will never see things in the  same way again.

The Best Way to Make a Big Difference

The Best Way to Make a Big Difference
“We Must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference,
ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time,
add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.”
Marian Wright Edelman, American Activist

As I see it . . . . . . .

The best way to make a big difference

Many people try to make a big difference and try to do it to fast or in a giant step . . . . They will find themselves coming up short and many times become discouraged in not reaching their objectives and stop trying.

The best way to make a big difference . . . . is by committing yourself to make a small difference every day. By making a small difference what started out as being a small difference accumulates and the impact of your small difference become a big difference.

The big difference may not be fast nor a giant step . . . . It’s becomes a factor of time . . . . persistence . . . . commitment . . . . and determination that turn your small difference into a big difference.

The best way to make a big difference . . . . is one small difference at a time.

If You Don’t Like the Conditions – Change It

If You Don’t Like the Conditions – Change It
“There are two primary choices in life, to accept conditions as
they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.”
Denis Waitley, Speaker and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

If you don’t like the conditions – Change it

You control your choices . . . . You can choose to accept the conditions in your life . . . . and go along with it. Or you can choose to change it.

When you decide to go along with the conditions that you’re not comfortable with . . . . and they will cause a great deal of stress in your life. There is additional side effect of the conditions that drains your energy and lowers your productively.

Take control of the conditions in your life . . . . and you take control of your life and the direction that its headed in.

If you don’t like the conditions – change it . . . . modify it . . . . or get it out of your life. Otherwise your thinking and energy will be focused in the wrong direction and not productive and focused forward.

The Possibilities of What Can Be Imagined

The Possibilities of What Can Be Imagined
“Most people operate out of their personal history . . . .
instead of living their life forward into the possibilities
of what can be imagined.”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

The possibilities of what can be imagined

In the reaches of your mind is the imagination that holds the keys to your future.

Allow your imagination come into the light of the day . . . . and as your imagination comes into that light it will grow and flourish. In your imagination are the ideas . . . . Concepts . . . . Breakthroughs . . . . Opportunities . . . . and the possibilities that will have a positive impact on your future.

Let your imagination loose . . . . Let the ideas flow and you will expand your thinking . . . . your possibilities to greater levels of awareness.

The possibilities of what can be imagined . . . . are within you . . . . Think forward in terms of what if . . . . and why not me . . . . and in possibilities  and you will see them.

You Begin Your Success Journey as Who You Are

You Begin Your Success Journey as Who You Are
“The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business
tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated in any field have
in common is that they all began their journeys
when they were none of these things.
Yet they started.”
Mike Dooley, Entrepreneur, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

You begin your success journey as you are

The law of success is consistent . . . . You begin your success journey as who you are . . . . and grow into who you become.

Your personal growth is a life long journey that shapes your thinking and supports your actions . . . . It becomes an key element in the road that you choose to travel on your success journey.

Standout in Your Profession

Standout in Your Profession
Confidence and enthusiasm are the greatest
sales producers in any economy .”
O. B. Smith, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Standout in your profession

There is a thin slice of differences that separates the champion from the competition. That thin slice propels them forward to greater heights and success.

The champion is committed to their continuous personal devolvement and constantly hones their skills to a razor sharp edge. And that edge creates a strategic business advantage over their competition.

A champion also prepares themselves in advance to succeed.

When you have the cutting edge skills and you combine your skill with preparation . . . . You are preparing yourself to succeed and standout in your profession.

When you are prepared to succeed you will move forward with the confidence that will show in your demeanor. That confidence will radiate with the people you meet in your personal life and in your business relationships.

Standout in your professional . . . .To separate yourself from the competition you first have to compete with yourself to continuously become better at the things you do. As you continuous become better and hone your skills the competition will have to compete with you.

Push to Be All You Can Be

Push to Be All You Can Be
“There is no passion to be found in playing small – settling for
a life that is less than the one your capable of living.”
Nelson Mandela, Served as President of South Africa

As I see it . . . . . . .

Push to be all you can be

Don’t settle for less than you can be . . . . push to be all you can be and for all you can achieve.

When you settle for less . . . . you leave what’s possible on the table and you achieve less then what your capable of achieving.

The difference of pushing to be all you can be . . . . and settling . . . . is in applying a little more effort . . . .  and pushing a little harder . . . . and a little longer.

In pushing you will discover that you have the capacity to . . . . achieve more . . . . and be more.

Push to be all you can be . . . . and you will discover a whole new world of opportunity in there waiting for you.

Continually Challenge Yourself

Continually Challenge Yourself
“My biggest motivation? Just to Keep challenging myself. I see
life almost like one long university education that I never
had – everyday I’m learning something new.”
Richard Branson, English Business Magnate and Investor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Continually challenge yourself

Open up a world of new opportunities and possibilities . . . . don’t settle for the status quo.  Continually challenge yourself to become better at what you do.

Situations Change

Situations Change
“If you’re in a bad situation, don’t worry it’ll change.
If you’re in a good situation, don’t worry it’ll change.”
John A Simon Jr., New Media Artist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Situations change

Everything changes . . . . and the only constant in our life . . . . is change.

Situations in our life are subject to change without notice and can happen at any time . . . .

Situations change . . . . the questions becomes do we get on the leading edge of change by making the changes in our life work for us by taking control of the change. Or are we reactive to change . . . . and let things drift with inaction to change the things in our life that needs positive change.

Or worst yet do we back up and allow other people decide what changes if any will occur in our life.

When you grasp a situation . . . . and determine what will have to be do . . . . You take control on the condition . . . . how it will affect you . . . . and how YOU will change the condition.

YOU take control of the situation and in turn take control of your life.

When you become reactive to situation you allow the situation to take control of your life.

Situations change . . . . be in front of the change and take the actions to make the changes that are needed.

Confidence is the Result of Hard Work and Preperation

Confidence is the Result of Hard Work and Preperation
“Confidence is the most important single factor in this game, and
no matter how great your talent there is only one way to
obtain it - work.”
Jack Nicklaus, Golfer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Confidence is the result of hard work and preparation

There is no substitute for hard work and preparation . . . . You can’t fake it . . . . and you won’t be able to talk you way through it.

Your confidence shines through . . . . your customers see it . . . . the people around know you have it. It also comes to the forefront in your actions . . . . and the approach you take in your profession.

When you’re confident your actions have a purpose and your expectations are focused on achieving successful results.

You build your confidence as a result of your hard work and preparation. Those efforts multiply with time. As you engage in your profession you have put yourself into a position to succeed at the  start of a new endeavor and have the confidence in yourself that you will be successful.

Confidence is the result of hard work and preparation . . . .

The Opportunity to Live an Extraordinary Life

The Opportunity to Live an Extraordinary Life
“Life and business is like the changing seasons. You cannot
change the seasons, but you can change yourself.
Therein lies the opportunity to live an
extraordinary life - - the opportunity to change yourself.”
Jim Rohn 1930 – 2009, American Entrepreneur,
Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The opportunity to live an extraordinary life

You may not be able to change season of the market conditions . . . . but you can adjust your thinking to make the most out of the current market conditions.

The opportunity to live an extraordinary life . . . . is being able to adjust . . . . adapt . . . . and make the most out of the conditions that you find yourself in.

Your success journey is not an expressway to your goals . . . . It’s a toll road where you pay the tolls in advance of enjoying the benefits of your successes. It also a road that’s under construction. It’s a road to where you will have to make adjustments to successfully navigate your success journey . . . . and remain focused on your long term objectives.

The opportunity to live an extraordinary life . . . . is in front of you. To live that life you have to be willing to make adjustments and adapt to changing conditions in order to make the most out of them.

Nourish Your Mind With Positive Thinking

Nourish Your Mind With Positive Thinking
“You are what you are and you are what you are because of what
has gone into your mind, Your change what you are you
change where you are by changing what goes into your mind.”
Zig Ziglar 1926 – 2012, motivational Speaker, Author
and Salesman

As I see it . . . . . . .

Nourish your mind with positive thinking

Your mind works very similar to programming a computer . . . .

With computers the saying go’s garbage in garage out . . . . What you program into your mind is reflected in your attitude and in your actions.

Nourish your mind with positive thinking . . . . and you will be the recipient of a positive attitude . . . . a positive outlook . . . . and your attitude and outlook will be reflected in your actions.

Your attitude will create your outlook on life . . . . and become a major influence on the direction that your life takes.

In time you will become the person in your thinking and in your attitude . . . . A positive thinker will go through life looking for opportunities and making the most of the opportunities they find.

Mental Notes

Mental Notes
“Ideas can come from anywhere and at any time, The problem
with making mental notes is that the ink fades very rapidly.”
Rolf Smith, Forward Thinker and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Mental notes

I can share with you from personal experience making mental notes are soon forgotten.

Over the course of a day . . . . I’m driving to meetings and appointments . . . . working with customers . . . . speaking to groups . . . . conducting training . . . . in meeting . . . . and in consulting.

In a flash you get an idea and you make a mental note on the idea with the intention of acting on it . . . . and left on its own the mental note the ideas fades from your memory very quickly.

What I have found that works best for me is . . . .

I carry (3x5) index cards in my shirt pocket to make a quick note of the idea. It works great when I’m in a meeting without disturbing the other people in the room or for saving a fast idea or thought before I lose it.

I also use a digital voice recorder when I’m flying and driving . . . . and I can tell it’s very productive in saving your idea.

A mental note, fade very fast . . . . Making a written note or a voice note preserves the idea and gives you the ability to expend it and make the most out of it.

It’s Not What Other People Say It’s What You Do

It’s Not What Other People Say It’s What You Do
“It’s doesn’t matter how many say it cannot be done or how
many people have tried it before; it’s important to realize
that whatever you’re doing. It’s you’re first attempt at it.”
Wally Amos, Founder of Famous Amos Chocolate Chips
Cookies

As I see it . . . . . . .

It’s not what other people say it’s what you do

People will tell you it can’t be done . . . . and you shouldn’t waste your time trying.

They’re telling you what their perspective is of the situation . . . . it their reality, not yours.

It’s not what other people say it’s what you do . . . . in any given situation.

Where one person is frozen in inaction . . . . Another person seizes the moment and finds a way to create a successful outcome.

Nay Sayers bring a negative outlook with them and can come up with all the reasons why something can’t be done . . . . They would be hard pressed to come up with even one reason why something can be done.

It’s not what other people say it’s what you do . . . . Your beliefs and your willingness to take on a challenging situation, make’s you who you are . . . . and makes everything possible.

People are Quite Remarkable With a Positive Mindset

People are Quite Remarkable With a Positive Mindset
“People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking
that they can do things. When they believe in themselves
they have the first secret of success.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1898 – 1993, Minister, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

People are quite remarkable with a positive mindset

When you believe in yourself . . . . you release your personal power.

With your personal power is released you’ll be willing to take on more challenging tasks . . . . and you will take the tasks on with the confidence that you will create successful results.

When your mindset is rooted in positive thinking . . . . your thinking focuses on opportunities and in finding solutions. With a positive thinking you will attract opportunities into your life and focus forward on turning those opportunities into stepping stones to greater success.

When you believe in yourself it doesn’t remove the element of risk in your endeavors and won’t eliminate obstacles or prevent setback. What it will introduce in your mindset is how to you look at the condition . . . .  How you respond to them . . . . how to make the most of the good conditions . . . . and how to minimize the downside of a bad condition.

With positive thinking you will focus forward and look for and find the solutions to the conditions . . . .  enabling you to get back on track faster . . . . and to put the conditions behind you quicker.

People are quite remarkable with a positive mindset . . . .

From a Seed a Giant Tree Grows

From a Seed a Giant Tree Grows
“You can build any future you want if you let yourself grow, have
faith in your dreams or vision, and become open to new ideas.”
John F. Wasik, Journalist, Author, Speaker, Consultant

As I see it . . . . . . .

From a seed a giant tree grows

When our youngest daughter started to play soccer at age 5, my wife and I along with the other parents would be at the soccer field in the hot sun. The trees around the soccer had just been planted and offered very little relief from the hot Florida sun.

Well the years have rolled by and today at the soccer field the parents benefit from the growth of the trees and take advantage of the shade that the trees offers.

Here’s the key is . . . . If you want sit under the tree and benefit from the shade . . . . you have to plant the seed for it to grow.

Your careers is no different . . . . If your goal is to have a successful career and see the benefits from your efforts . . . . You are going to have to plant the seeds of your personal development and nurture them to into full growth.

From a seed a giant tree grows . . . . from a seed your personal development will grow your career. Your potential and your career potential are unlimited . . . . when you plant the seed of your success and nurture to its full potential.

The Gift of Prosperity

The Gift of Prosperity
“True prosperity is an increditable gift. It’s a gift YOU deserve,
and no matter what anyone says, it’s a gift that IS available
to you right now.”
Dr. Joe Vitale, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The gift of prosperity

Prosperity is not something that just happens . . . . nor is it something that is given.

The gift of prosperity is a gift that you earn through your determination to achieve your goals and through the consistency of your actions to do it successfully.

The true gift of prosperity is far reaching . . . . and will have an lasting impact on your life and career.

The gift of prosperity is that you are given the day . . . . that day is yours to do with it anything you choose to do. Prosperity is in your daily achievements that should be celebrated and enjoyed . . . . As they become the stepping stones to fulfilling your destiny.

The gift of prosperity is a mindset . . . . and the gift is the value your day returns to you as a result of your activities. With each productive day your forward momentum will increase and give you the rewards of your efforts

A Person That Gives of Themselves

A Person That Gives of Themselves
“The best thing about giving of ourselves is that what we get is
always better than what we give, the reaction is greater
than the action.”
Orison Sweet Marden 1850 – 1921, American Spiritual Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

A person that gives of themselves

An amazing thing happens to the person who is a giver . . . . when they freely give of themselves without the expectation of recognition or being rewarded for what they do.

They begin to recognize for their efforts . . . .

In business they will develop a business base of loyal customers and raving fans . . . . The customers will become repeat customers and the raving fans will freely refer new customers to you.

The key is . . . .

You have to give before you receive . . . . Give without looking for the rewards will focus your service on your customers needs. The rewards follow in being in service to others.

The person that gives of themselves . . . . builds the foundation of a successful on a base of loyal customers.

In the Beginning it Can be Difficult

In the Beginning it Can be Difficult
“Don’t be afraid if things seem difficult in the beginning. That’s
only the initial impression, the important thing is not to
retreat; you have to master yourself.”
Olga Korbut, Soviet Olympic Gymnast, 4 Gold and 2 Silver Medals

As I see it . . . . . . .

In the beginning it can be difficult

I can think back to . . . . the experience of learning how to ride a bike as a young child . . . . I can still remember getting up close and personal with the side walk many times before I learned to master riding a bike.

With determination a child learns how to master riding a bike.

Sports were no difference . . . . trying to master the skills of playing a sport was not only difficult . . . . it takes both time and persistence to get better and to master the sport.

I can also remember my first time on a computer as an adult trying to understand Word Perfect. The beginning was more than difficult . . . . it way closer to a nightmare with your eyes wide open.

As with any new undertaking the in the beginning it can be difficult . . . . It’s in your determination and persistence that you learn master new things.

It’s Not the Condition It’s Your Attitude

It’s Not the Condition It’s Your Attitude
“Any fact facing us is not important as our attitude toward it,
for that determines our success or failure.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1893 – 1993, Minister, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

It’s not the condition it’s your attitude

Your attitude will determine how you see the condition and how you will approach the conditions in your life.

With a positive attitude you will look at the condition at face value . . . . You look for ways to maximize the condition as a business advantage  . . .  and to seek out the opportunities that condition offers.

With negative conditions with the right attitude, your mindset will tell you to look for right solutions . . . . and a way minimizes the condition in effecting you or your business.

With a positive attitude you are looking forward . . . . with positive expectations.

The opposite occurs . . . . with a negative attitude . . . . the focus will be in looking back . . . . being weighed down by the condition. You will also become blinded by the condition.

It’s not the condition it’s your attitude . . . .  that will determine your viewpoint on the condition and the measures you take to successful work through the condition . . . . or to become overwhelmed by the condition.
