Make the Most of the Moment Your In
“At work, you think of the children you
have left at home, you
think of the work you’re left
unfinished. Such a struggle is
unleashed within yourself.”
Golda Meir 1898 – 1978, Fourth Israeli Prime Minister
As I see it . . . . . . .
Make the most of the moment your in
Inner struggle to worry about what you’re
not doing . . . . is diminishing the value of your moment.
No matter how hard you try . . . . you
can only do one thing effecting at one time.
If you spend your time at work focusing
on what you will do tonight or on the weekend . . . . You are diverting your
thinking from the task at hand to another activity. The task at hand will
receive less than a 100% effort and suffer as a result of less than a full
effort.
On your weekends if you feel guilty
about the work that remains unfinished and on your desk. You will disconnect
from your weekend activities and the people.
As a result you will not enjoy the benefits of your weekend.
When you’re that work fully engage the
progress . . . . do what has to be done and do it with excellence and leave
your personal life on the back burner.
On your weekend enjoy the time off leave
your business on the back burner and recharge
your batteries . . . . . and enjoy your time off.
Make the most of your moment in . . . . and
you will get far more enjoyment from that moment.
