Utilize and Direct the Change in Your Life

Utilize and Direct the Change in Your Life
“Since changes are going on anyway, the great thing is to
learn enough about them so that we will be able to lay
hold of them and turn them in the direction  of our
desires. Conditions and events are neither to be
fled from nor passively acquiesced in; they
are to be utilized and directed.”
John Dewey 1859 – 1852, American Philosopher,

Super Achievers See It

Super Achievers See It
“I noticed an almost universal trait among Super Achievers, and it
was what I call Sensor Goal Vision. Those people know that they
wanted out of life, and they could sense it, multidimensionally
before they ever had it. They could  not only see it, but also
taste it, smell it, and imagine the sounds and emotions
associated with it. They pre-lived it before they had
it. And the sharp, sensory vision became a
driving force in their lives.”
Stephen Devore

As I see it . . . . . . .

Super achievers see it

The super achievers have the vision to see their future . . . . as they want it to be.

What makes them a super achiever . . . . is they turn their vision into their goals that they’re determined to achieve.

A super achiever never loses sight of their goals . . . . they remain focused on them through the changing conditions they encounter on their success journey.

Super achievers push past their obstacles . . . . pick themselves up after they get knocked down . . . . and recover after a failure to pursue their goals.

Super achievers see it . . . . it’s their future as they want it to be . . . . and they pursue their goals with determination to live their future as they see it.

When All is Dark Keep Trying

When All is Dark Keep Trying
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain
way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”
Thomas a Edison 1847 – 1931, Businessman and Inventor of the
Electric Light Bulb

As I see it . . . . . . .

When all is dark keep trying

It took Thomas Edison over 1000 attempts to successfully develop the electric light bulb.

Success is not an overnight thing . . . . it’s not a single event . . . . success is a process and is the result of dedication . . . . determination . . . . hard work . . . .  not giving up and the investment of time and effort.

A big factor in achieving success is to keep trying.

When all is dark keep trying . . . . and you will find the switch to turn on the lights for your success journey.

There is only one way to find out how close you are to succeeding . . . . and that one way is to keep trying . . . . When you successfully achieve your goals you will look back and see the breakthrough that pushed you over the top to successfully reach your destination.

When all is dark keep trying . . . . and remember that the sun will come up tomorrow to light your way.

Intentions Alone Has No Value

 Intentions Alone Has No Value
“You cannot change anything in your life with intention alone
which can become a watered down, occasional hope that
you’ll get to it tomorrow. Intention
without action is useless.”
Caroline Myers, Playwright

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Intentions alone has no value

Intention no matter how good they are will not change anything . . . . in your life without action.

When you want change in your life . . . . you have the personal responsible for the change you want to see.

You have to commit yourself to take the actions that are needed . . . . to achieve the desired outcome.

Your future is created through . . . . your actions not your intentions.

Be the change that you want to see . . . . and take the actions to make that change become a reality.

Intentions alone has no value . . . . it’s just turns out to be a lot of small talk with no follow up and not actions.

Be Like Water Moving Down Stream

Be Like Water Moving Down Stream
“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive,
but to the object, and you shall find a way around or
through it. If nothing within you stays rigid,
 outward things will disclose themselves.”
Bruce Lee 1940 -1973, American- Hong Kong Action Film
Actor, martial Artist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Be like water moving down stream

As water is moves down stream; it will encounter many obstacles on its way moving down stream.

Water will face fallen trees and debris that will create barrier to the water moving down stream . . . . There will be the natural obstacles of rocks and boulders blocking the water’s movement.

In the water movement down steam the water adjusts its flow . . . .  and as a result it finds a way to go around . . . .  over . . . . or through the barriers.

Your life’s journey resembles the flow of the water moving down steam.

There will be times that you will have to adjust to keep you forward momentum. Other times you will have to adapt to the conditions to make forward progress.

Be like water moving down stream . . . . and in time your  persistence will break down the barriers and allows you to continue to flow down stream past the obstacles and to achieve your goals.

Something to Face the World With

Something to Face the World With
“People Deserve . . . . the truth. They deserve honesty. The best
music, you can seek some shelter in it momentarily, but
it’s essentially there to provide you something to
face the world with.”
Bruce Springsteen, Singer and Songwriter

As I see it . . . . . . .

Something to face the world with

Some people face the world with their faith . . . . in that faith they have the strength to push forward . . . . and to keep trying without giving up.

Their faith gives them the determination to pick themselves up after a failure . . . . and to work through their obstacles to create a successful results.

Having faith in yourself gives you the extra boost and the added push to stretch your limits out of your comfort zone . . . . and to step into the possibility zone.

Face the world with your faith and you will have the wind at your back and that wind will propel you forward in the direction of your goals.

and plans;  then transformation of those plans into reality. The
beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.”

90% of Success is Discipline

90% of Success is Discipline
“Someone might have a germ of talent, but 90% of it is discipline
and how you practice it, what you do with it. Instinct won’t
carry your through the entire journey. It’s what you do
in the moments between inspiration.”

As I see it . . . . . . .

90% of success is discipline

Success is not spontaneous . . . . it doesn’t occur on  a whim . . . . it’s not an isolated event . . . . and it’s not something that just happens.

A Time to Let Go

A Time to Let Go
“The worst thing you can try to do is cling to something
that is gone, or to recreate it .”
Jeanette Napotitano, American Politician, Lawyer,
President of University of California System

As I see it . . . . . . .

A time to let go

To cling to the past . . . . will feel  like your carrying the weight of a time that has passed on your shoulders. The longer you cling to the past the heavier the weight becomes until the weight of the past bring your success journey to a grinding stop.

The past is behind you . . . . and the future in front of you.

When you’re clinging to the past . . . . it will cloud your reasoning and distort  your vision for your future. With a distorted vision for your future your day will drift and your forward progress will be non-extant.

There’s a time to let go . . . . of the past . . . . and make the decision to live your life forward.

Cherish the good memories . . . . and leave the negative experiences behind you. Use the lessons from those negative experiences in the column of what to avoid in the future.

When you feel yourself being pulled into the past . . . . you have a time to let go . . . . and embrace the future.

The Naysayer Sees The Clouds on a Sunny Day

The Naysayer Sees The Clouds on a Sunny Day
“No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed
to an uncharted land, or opened a new haven to
the human spirit.”
Helen Keller 1880 – 1968, American Author,
Political Activist, Lecturer,

As I see it . . . . . . .

The naysayer sees the clouds on a sunny day

The naysayer sees the clouds on a sunny day . . . . and misses the brightness that the sun offers.

The naysayer sees the hard work . . . . and misses the opportunity.

The naysayer complaints . . . . and never sees the possibilities.

The naysayer looks for the negatives in people . . . . and misses the opportunity to create a production relationship with the person.

The naysayer looks at a condition and expects the worst . . . . and seems to find themselves in that condition.

The naysayer lives in a world of a self-fulfilling prophecy . . . . and will find themselves living in a world that’s reflected in their thinking.

The naysayer sees the clouds on a sunny day . . . . When you look at the world through a positive prism you will see the sun in your day.

The Powerful Law of Expectations

The Powerful Law of Expectations
“If you expect the best, you will be the best. Learn to use one of
the most powerful laws in this world: change your mental
habits to belief instead of disbelief. Learn to expect,
not to doubt. In so doing, you bring everything
into the realm of possibility.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1898 -1993, Minister, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

The powerful law of expectations

A person that believes that they will achieve their goals . . . . Is a person that will go into their day with the expectations “THAT THEY WILL ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS”. They will invest their time and efforts in the productive activities to create the stepping stones to successfully achievement of their goals.

Expectations become a powerful force in your life . . . . Your beliefs have the capacity to lift you to great heights and to stretch you forward to bigger opportunities and to greater success.

The powerful law of expectations . . . . is creating the success habit of positive thinking and using that thinking to create the positive expectations for your future. In your thinking you create you expectations . . . . point it forward . . . . point it in the direction of your goals . . . . and expectation to successfully achieve your desired outcome.

How and What You Think

How and What You Think
Remember, happiness doesn’t depend
in who you are or what you have
it solely on what you think.”
Dale Carnegie 1888 - 1955, American Author, Lecturer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

How and what you think

Your life is first created in your thinking . . . . and then you create it in your reality through the level of your efforts.

Think in terms of what you want do . . . . and then do it.

Think in terms of what you want to accomplish . . . . and find a way to successfully achieve it.

Think in terms of the opportunities . . . . and then grasp them . . . . and make the most out of them.

Think in terms of success . . . . and achieve it.

Think in terms of happiness . . . . and live it.

Your life begins in your thinking . . . . and you become our thoughts.

How and what you think . . . . you become.

Attitude Determines the Degree of Your Service

Attitude Determines the Degree of Your Service
“Your attitude determine the degree of excellence of
service you perform.”
Jeffery Gitomer, Author, Consultant, Professional Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Attitude determines the degree of your service

The quality of your business is first established from the vision you have for your business . . . . and values you bring to the business every day.

The quality of your services is determined by your attitude.

That attitude then becomes the bar of excellence that you have established for your business . . . . and means to measure your service and yourself by.

Attitude determines the degree of your service . . . .

The bar that you set for the level of your services that you provide for your customers . . . . establishes the standards for your customers expectations. They become the standards that you and your business will be measured by.

Your attitude determines the degree of your service . . . . and from the foundation of your attitude you will either build your business on bedrock or quicksand.

A Business That’s Satisfied with Their Results

A Business That’s Satisfied with Their Results
“I’ve felt that dissatisfaction is the basis of progress. When one
becomes satisfied in business we become obsolete.”
J. Willard Marriott Sr. Hotel Executive

As I see it . . . . . . .

A business that’s satisfied with their results

A business grows when they challenge the status quo and pushes to become a better and more productive business. That business has reached a point of the discovery of dissatisfaction in the business.

That business has also discovered that the business needs to step up to the next level to remain competitive.

The business that becomes dissatisfied . . . . is a forward looking business one that is focused on their future and one that wants to be on the leading edge in their field.

As a business becomes dissatisfied they challenge their business model and their thinking. They will also look at the delivery of their services to their customers. In that search they will find a way to create a strategic business advantage that will make the business better and create greater customer awareness and satisfaction in their services.

A business that’s satisfied with their results . . . . becomes obsolete. The business that’s dissatisfied remains in the forefront of their field and in their customers mind.

The Extra Yard

The Extra Yard
“Do not quit! Hundreds of times I have watched people throw
in the towel at the one – yard line while someone else comes
along and makes a fortune by going the extra yard.”
E. Joseph Crossman, American Entrepreneur,
Direct Marketer, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

The extra yard

The difference in the extra yard . . . . is the difference between making a first down or having to punt the ball to the other team.

In other words the difference . . . . of the extra yard on the listing appointment is the difference in having a saleable listing or a listing that won’t sell.

The extra yard with buyers is the difference . . . . in forming a productive business relationship built on mutual trust and rapport. Or having a business relationship that breakdown that leads to unsatisfactory results.

The extra yard in your business is the differences between standing in the winner’s circle or standing in crowd.

Commitment yourself to go for the extra yard . . . .and you are making the commitment to succeed and stand above the crowd.

Your Highest Priorities

Your Highest Priorities
“You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have
the courage - - pleasantly, smilingly, non-apologetically - - to
say ‘no’ to other things. And the way you do that is
by having a bigger ‘yes’ burning inside.”
Stephen R. Covey 1932 -2012, American Educator,
Businessman, Keynote Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your highest priorities

When you have defined goals . . . . you create a life of purpose in pursuing your goals.

When you can indentify your priorities you will find yourself achieving your goals . . . . You will establish what it will take to achieve your goals and what will be most important in making forward progress.  Also by having priorities, you will be making the best use of your time in successfully achieving your objectives.

Your priorities will keep you centered on your goals and will move you pass the distraction that you encounter along the way.

Your highest priorities will set the course to achieve your goals and objectives. Your goals belong to you . . . . Have the courage to set your priorities and follow them to create successful results.

Opportunities are Like Gains of Sand

Opportunities are Like Gains of Sand
“Many do with opportunities as children do at the seashore;
they fill their little hands with sand, and then let the
grains fall through one by one.”
Thomas Jones

As I see it . . . . . . .

Opportunities are like gains of sand

As you walk through the beach of your life . . . . The gains of sand are at your feet . . . . Anytime you want an opportunity all you have to do is to make the move to bend down . . . . and pick them up.

Some people will walk  pass the gains of sand of opportunities every day of their life without recognizing the potential of the opportunities. Or they never expend the effort that’s required to grasp the opportunities.

As children we would pick up the gains of sand and watch it slip through our fingers.

Pick up the gains of sand of your opportunities and hold them and nurture them to their full potential. An opportunity that’s nurtured has the capacity to grow into a breakthrough and change the course of your life.

Opportunities are like gains of sand . . . . their all around you. Recognize the value of the opportunities and pick them up . . . . and run with them and make the most out of them.

Choose Your Words Wisely

Choose Your Words Wisely
“The difference between the right word and the wrong word
is like the difference between the lighting and
the lighting bug.”
Mark Twain 1835 – 1910, American Author and Humorist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Choose your words wisely

You see it every day and every walk of life . . . . people put their foot in their mouth.

They will speak without thinking . . . . and regularly say the wrong thing at the wrong time. They may try to laugh it off but it wears thin very fast and they embarrass themselves . . . . and the people they represent.

Speaking without thinking is a nightmare that is playing out in real life.

Choose your words wisely . . . . people will judge you by what you say and how you say it. It will also reflect on your reputation and how people feel about you. As they judge you . . . . they will make a decision if they trust you and if they will do business with you.

See the Opportunity

See the Opportunity
“The great thing is the start - - to see an opportunity for service,
and start doing it, ever though in the beginning your service
a single customer - - and him for nothing .”
John Collier 1884 – 1968, American Social Reformer,
Native American Advocate, Commissioner of Indian Affairs

As I see it . . . . . . .

See the opportunity

To see the opportunity is the first step . . . . in maximizing the opportunity.

The second step is to determine . . .  how to service that opportunity to its fullest potential.

The third step is . . . . being of service expands the opportunity to new heights.

With a service mindset . . . . you’ll create your own opportunities. Delivering your services with excellence puts you into a position to create a continued flow of new opportunities.

Build your business on being of service to others . . . . and you will build your business on a solid foundation to sustain the business.

See the opportunity . . . . service that idea  . . . . and your building a customer centric business model.
