A Continuous Learner Attracts Business Opportunities

Motivational Power Quote

A Continuous Learner Attracts Business Opportunities
“A man to carry on a successful business must have imagination.
He must see things a in a vision, a dream of the whole thing.”
Charles M. Schwab 1862 - 1959, American Steel Magnate

As I see it . . . . . . .

A continuous learner attracts business opportunities

The flexible people of the world have the passion to acquirer the skills to reach greater heights of success and the passion to use them effectively.

Those who are willing to embrace learning in a changing business environment will attract new business opportunities and success in the future. While the non-learner will straggle to keep pace and will no longer be able to effectively compete in the marketplace.

The learners keep the flame of their dreams burning brightly in their thoughts and they make them come true in their actions.

A commitment to continuous learning to acquire the necessary skills to create a cutting edge business advantage is a must. To effectively compete in a competitive world continuous learning is no longer optional it become a must to stay completive . . . . and to achieve grater success.

Success will be attracted by those who have educated themselves and effectively apply their new skills with a purpose. At the same time others will not be able to keep up without the education and the new skills.

A continuous learner attracts business opportunities . . . . as a result of their commitment to becoming better at what they do. Make the commitment to attract new business opportunities . . . . and to be leader your profession.

It’s Not the Condition It’s Your Attitude

It’s Not the Condition It’s Your Attitude
“Any fact facing us is not important as our attitude toward it,
for that determines our success or failure.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1893 – 1993, Minister, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

It’s not the condition it’s your attitude

Your attitude will determine how you see the condition and how you will approach the conditions in your life.

With a positive attitude you will look at the condition at face value . . . . You look for ways to maximize the condition as a business advantage  . . .  and to seek out the opportunities that condition offers.

With negative conditions with the right attitude, your mindset will tell you to look for right solutions . . . . and a way minimizes the condition in effecting you or your business.

With a positive attitude you are looking forward . . . . with positive expectations.

The opposite occurs . . . . with a negative attitude . . . . the focus will be in looking back . . . . being weighed down by the condition. You will also become blinded by the condition.

It’s not the condition it’s your attitude . . . .  that will determine your viewpoint on the condition and the measures you take to successful work through the condition . . . . or to become overwhelmed by the condition.

It’s What You Learn – After You Know What You Know

Motivational Power Quote

It’s What You Learn – After You Know What You Know
“It is the studying that you do after school days that really
counts. Otherwise, you know only that which everyone
else knows.”
Henry Doherty 1870 – 1939, American Businessman

As I see it . . . . . . .

It’s what you learn – After you know what you know

It’s very common to reach point in your careers that you feel that you have it covered . . . . and have all the answers.

That point can be reached at any point in our career. For a person that’s relatively new in their field it can happen very quickly . . . . and become an anchor. That anchor can slow their professional development to a crawl. If adjustments are not made the person will struggle to keep their head above water . . . . and will eventually sink.

For a person that has been involved in business for a long period of time. . . .  it becomes the threshold of complicacy in the status quo. Without keeping pace with the continuous learning and professional development that’s required to stay reverent in their profession . . . . they slowly fall behind the curve of being competitive in their profession.

It’s what you learn – after you know what you know . . . . will give you a strategic business advantage and determine the direction and the pace of your career.

Just a Little Extra

Motivational Power Quote

Just a Little Extra
“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary
is that little extra.”
Jimmy Johnson, Football Coach

As I see it. . . . .

Just a little extra

Doing just a little extra is a choice . . . . It’s a choice to become the best at what you do.

In business as well as in sports doing just a little extra can have an enormous impact on the outcome. Many times the difference between winning and losing is in the thin slice. The thin slice of doing just a little extra when the chips are down and in giving your best when it would be easier to just walk away.

Going along and doing the minimum to just get by . . . . will get you a one way ticket to failure. Doing the little extra can change the course of your life, your business or the outcome of a sporting event.

Doing just a little extra can put you over the top in your profession.

When you’re willing to step up and to do just a little extra, you can turn your doing into an extraordinary business advantage.

Hard Work is a Success Skill

Motivational Power Quote

Hard Work is a Success Skill
“If the power to do hard work is not a skill, it’s the best possible substitute for it.”
James Garfield, 20th President of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

Hard work is a success skill

Most opportunities come into our lives dressed in work clothes and look like hard work.

Life shows us that anything that’s worthwhile is worth working for and some of those things will take more work and time than others.  At some point achieving success will take a commitment of consistent effort and a healthy dose of hard work.

Hard work can be interpreted as physical hard work or to be the challenges mentally that it takes to bring a task to a successful conclusion. Both of them have the capacity to take their toll of us and to drain our energy and emotions.

In many situations the person that’s willing to extend themselves and work hard can create a business advantage and work their way to a successful outcome. Or in some cases they will just flat outwork their competition to the finish line.

Hard work is a success skill that can make all the difference in achieving the desired outcome.
