With Everything That Has Happened

With Everything That Has Happened
“With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel
sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift.
Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle
to keep you from growing. You get to choose.”
Dr. Wayne Dryer, American Self-Help Author and
Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

With everything that has happened

There will be many things that will happen to you throughout your life time. Some will have a positive influence on your life and become stepping stones to successful future.

What as happen to you is in the past . . . . and they would water under the bridge of your life.

With everything that has happen to you . . . . take the positive experiences and use then as building blocks to contribute to your future success.

Use the negative experiences . . . . as life lessons and know what will be needed to be avoided in the future.

With everything that has happened . . . . to you is in the past . . . . today is a clean slate . . . . Make today a day of positive experiences and a day of new opportunities.

Evaluate Your Past and Live in the Moment

Motivational Power Quote

Evaluate Your Past and Live in the Moment
“Evaluation of the past is the first step towards
the vision for the future.”
Chris Widener, Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Evaluate your past and live in the moment

Your past in behind you and written into the history book of your life.

You can’t go back and relive the past . . . . which time has passed forever. But you can evaluate your past . . . . and apply the life lessons that you have learned from the evaluation to guild you into the future and to benefit from those lessons.

The life lessons that you learn from the past can either be an invaluable resource to draw on in the future. Or can become an anchor that pulls you down into the abyss and sinks you. Trying to live your life . . . . in the past will take your eyes off the future.

Memories are too relished . . . . but attempting to live in the past becomes quicksand and will sink you into discontent and failure.

Your life moves forward and you live in the moments of your day. Those moments prepare you for the future . . . . and your life lessons will be their too guild you to better decisions.

Evaluate your past and live in the moment . . . . and you will make the best from your past . . . . and the most out of your future.

The School of Hard Knocks

Motivational Power Quote

The School of Hard Knocks
“Most people once they graduate from the school of hard knocks,
automatically enroll in the university of adversity.”
Peter McWilliams, 1949 - 2000, writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

The school of hard knocks

In most schools when you graduate you’ll receive a diploma. When you graduate from the school of hard knock you will have your bumps and bruises and the life experiences to make you a stronger person.

No school can prepare you for the future the way that the school of hard knocks can. It will prepare you to get up after you have been knocked down and to successful deal with your lives challenges.

The admission to the school of hard knocks can be high but the life lessons become invaluable in pursuing your goals.

Hard knocks happen when we least expect them and we will be graded on how we respond to them.

Attending the school of hard knocks may not be pleasant but we can choose when we graduate.

Take Responsibility For Your Failures and Your Successes

Motivational Power Quote

Take Responsibility For Your Failures and Your Successes
“As a leader, you have to take responsibility
for your our failure as well as successes.
That’s the only way you’ll learn.
If you keep learning, you’ll improve.
If you improve, your leadership will get better.
And in time you will earn the right to lead
on the level you deserve.”
John C. Maxwell, Leadership Expert and Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Take responsibility for your failures and your successes

Over a lifetime we will experience the emotions from the highest of highs with our successes, and yet there will be days where we experience the lowest of lows from a failure.

With each experience that we have there is an opportunity to learn.

The lessons from our life experiences become invaluable lessons that can apply to move our careers forward and in the direction of success.

When we can effectively apply the lessons of both our successes and our failures we’re applying real world lessons from our past to build a better and more successful future.

Take the responsibility for your failures and your successes and keep an open mind to turn experiences into a spring board to your future success.

The Difference Between School and life

Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between School and Life
“The difference between school and life?
In school, you’re taught a lesson
and then, given the test.
In life you’re given a test
that teaches you a lesson.”
Tom Bodett, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between school and life

In school we are given the lessons in a control environment and review the material until the teacher feels we know the material well enough to take the test.

In some cases we get an opportunity to do a do over and retake the test when the results do not turn out well.

And when everything is said and done we get a grade for the test.

In life we are tested everyday. In many cases we don’t get an opportunity to do a do over, we have to live with the results. And as a consequence we get the tests and we get to live with the results and the life lesson.

The difference between school and life is we have to live with our life lessons. To change the results we have to adapt and adjust our skills to meet the challenges of the day.

When we change the experience we change the results.

Learning the Hard Way

Motivational Power Quote

Learning the Hard Way
“One of the things I learned the hard way
was that it doesn’t pay to get discourage.
Keep busy and making optimism a way
of life can restore your faith in yourself.”
Steve Jobs, Co-founder of Apple Computer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Learning the hard way

Some of our best life lessons we learn will come the hard way.

In the moments of discouragement when the pressure may feel unbearable we have to have the strength of conviction that we will successfully prevail.

In those moments we have to have an optimistic look out and approach the issue with the attitude that we take control on the issue and successfully resolve it.

A positive outlook and actions will keep us busy in the resolution of the issue and not dwelling on the issue itself.

Learning the hard way is allowing the discouragement to take control of our life and becoming reactive to the situation.

Be proactive and in control of the conditions that come into our lives. Once you do you increase the odds of successfully resolving the conditions.

Learning the hard way is a life experience to move forward with wisdom.
