The person with sheer determination will stick to what has to be done . . . . and will not allow themselves to lose focus of their goals. They also will not become distracted by their challenges . . . . and they won’t permit their setbacks determine their future.

Just as running water can erode rock . . . . The focused effort with persistence will erode the barriers in your life and open up a pathway to greater opportunities and possibilities.

You have to try and keep trying

You have to try and try again at the risk of failure. Everything you do will not be successful, but without taking action and trying there is no success.

Trying wears down the resistances and when you keep trying your extra effort will make all the difference.

When you encounter setbacks step over them, when obstacles occur step around them. Keep moving forward, focus on your future, and continue to try and try again.

We have to try and keep trying in the face of your challenges to apply the efforts that will result in a breakthrough to achieving the desired outcome.

The tougher the odds the sweeter the victory


When we labor against overwhelming odds and turn the situation into success there is a great sense of achievement in the efforts and in the results.


Where we have succeeded in the face of very little resistance we will certainly take the success. But we don’t have the same the real sense of victory as we do when we face a tougher situation.


When we work as hard as we can and stretch our limits against great odds, we will find that the tougher the odds the sweeter the victory.
