Motivational Power Quote
Worry is Friction of the Mind
“It is not work that kills men, it is
worry. Work is healthy;
you can hardly put more on a man than he
can bear.
But worry is rust upon the blade.
It is not movement that destroys the
machinery, but friction.”
Henry Ward Beecher 1813 - 1887, Congregationalist Clergyman, Speaker
As I see it . . . . . . .
Worry is friction of the mind
The more you worry the more friction you
create in your mind and that worry stresses your mind into inaction and
marginal decision making.
A mind works best when you’re thinking
clearly, worry clouds your thinking and creates a fog in your thinking process.
When you’re worrying you will make a reactive decision. In most case that
decision will be ineffective and will not produce the desired results and may
very likely move you further away from your objectives.
A worry has to be defined and broken
down into what you can do with the condition that’s creating the worry and what
you can do to resolve the condition.
A worry that you alluded to go unchecked
will take control of your life, and very likely will put you and your life into
a tail spin.
Address the worry look for the best way
to control the worry and do something proactive to remove the root cause of the
worry from your thinking and from your life.
Worry is friction of the mind, remove
the worry and you will remove the friction and you will restore clarity in your
thinking.
