Aim High and Long

Motivational Power Quote

Aim High and Long
“Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do.
Don’t bother just to be better than you contemporaries
or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.”
William Faulkner 1897 – 1962 , American Author,
Nobel Prize Laureate

As I see it . . . . . . .

Aim high and long

Your dreams are your hopes for your future . . . . aim high and dream big dreams.

Turn your dreams into goals . . . . and turn your goals into your mission.

When you set your goals . . . . aim high and set big goals.

It is far better to have big goals and fall a little short . . . . then to set goals that will not stretch you as a person and hit them. To make forward progress in your career your goals should . . . . be stretching you forward.

Don’t be concerned about what other people are doing or achieving . . . . Focus your goals and dreams on what you want to achieve. Focus on getting a little better each day and focus on creating forward momentum.

Aim high and long . . . . a successful career in not made in a day. Your career is build on stepping stones that move you forwards and in having high goals and a long view on your success journey.

Be Out of the Box

Motivational Power Quote

Be Out of the Box
“One of the saddest lines in the world is ‘Oh come now – be
realistic.’ The best parts of the world were not fashioned by those
who were realistic. They were fashioned by those who dared
to look hard at their wishes and gave them horses to ride.”
Richard Nelson Bolles, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Be out of the box

Success is not achieved in the box or in doing what is also realistic and safe.

Success is achieved when you stretch your thinking . . .  Stretching your limits . . . . and when you step out of the box and by trying new things.

Safe is doing what you always have done and expecting difference results.

When your goal is to change the course of your life for the better . . . . the first step is to step out of the box.

Stepping out of the box can look scary . . . .  but that where  that the success that your looking for is found. By stepping out of the box you will expand your thinking . . . . your possibilities and your opportunities.

Change the view of your future . . . . be out of the box . . . . and your view of your future will change along with your opportunities.

Dream About Your Goals and Then Do It

Motivational Power Quote

Dream About Your Goals and Then Do It
“There are those who work all day. Those who dream all day. And those who spend an hour dreaming before setting to
work to fulfill those dreams. Go into the third category
because there’s virtually no competition.”
Steven J. Ross, Businessman

As I see it . . . . . . .

Dream about your goals and then do it

Dreaming about your goals allows you to visualize your future. . . . and your goals as successfully being achieved.

Dreaming starts the process of achieving your goals and puts your thinking in motion to achieve your goals . . . . In the long run it’s your determination and persistence that makes your goals a reality.

Dream big dreams . . . . set big goals and support those dreams with massive action to successfully achieve them.

Your future is as big as your dreams . . . . and will be as bright as your efforts.

Dream about your goals and then do it . . . . and your goals will become  within your reach.

Do the Things You Love to Do

Motivational Power Quote

Do the Things You Love to Do
“Ask yourself what you would do even if you never
paid. That’s a clue to what you should be doing and,
of course, still be finding a way to be paid for it.
You can attract more money from love.”
Dr. Joe Vitale, Writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Do the things you love to do

You will find that when your doing the things that you love to do . . . . You go about it almost effortlessly and it never seems like work.

You will be fired with enthusiasm . . . . and consistently make the extra effort to get the job done successfully.

The key is to identify the things that you love to do . . . . and find a way to get paid for doing them.

You will be far more successful and make far more money in your career doing the things that you love to do . . . . than doing the things that other people tell you . . . . you have to do.

Do the things you love to do . . . . and turn the things you love to do into a successful and productive career.

Progress Comes Through Change

Motivational Power Quote

Progress Comes Through Change
“Progress is impossible without change, and those who
cannot change their thinking cannot change anything .”
George Bernard Shaw 1856 – 1950, Irish Playwright,
Nobel Prize in Literature

As I see it . . . . . . .

Progress comes through change

An open mind is open to change . . . . a closed mind cuts off the possible of change and in return cuts off their progress.

Let your mind be open to change . . . . and when change is coming into your life . . . . embrace it and look for the opportunities that the change offers.

Change creates the opportunity to open new doors and to breakdown old barriers and to travel a new path . . . .

Change can transform the old into a new opportunity and new success.

The way you look at change . . . . will determine what you see. Look at the change and look for the possibilities and you will find them.

Progress comes through change . . . . when you except change, progress and forward momentum will come into your life . . . . and things will improve for the better.

Light Your Own Way

Motivational Power Quote

Light Your Own Way
“Any fool can run towards the light. It takes a master with courage
to turn and face the darkness and shine his own light there.”
Leslie Fieger, Author of the Knowledge Systems

As I see it . . . . . . .

Light your own way

When you encounter darkness on your success journey . . . . you can allow that darkness to control your forward progress . . . . delay your success journey or to bring it to a standstill.

Or you can take control of your success journey . . . . and have the courage to light your own way.

When darkness overcomes your success journey . . . . it’s far better to light your own way then it would be to wait for someone to light the way for you.

Relight the spark of your success journey and bring that light into your day to guild your forward progress . . . . . the light will show you the way and keep you moving and in the right direction.

Light your own way . . . . and your will be in control your fate.

Find Your Purpose

Motivational Power Quote

Find Your Purpose
“What everyman needs, regardless of his job or kind of work
he is doing, is a vision of what his place is and may be. He
needs objectives and a purpose, He needs a feeling and belief
that he has some worthwhile thing to do. What this is no one
can tell him. It must be his own creation.”
Joseph M. Dodge 1890 – 1964, Author, Leading Authority
On United States Tax Law

As I see it . . . . . . .

Find your purpose

Find what you would do even if you were not paid . . . . Now find a way to get paid for it . . . . and you have found your true purpose.

Most people go to work every day and hate what they do . . . . they go through the motions and hate every minute of their day. They live for their days off and dread the morning that they have to go back to work.

They will never reach their potential . . . . not because of the lack of talent they lack the motivation to apply themselves and never fully engage their job.

If you find yourself in this rut . . . .  you have reached a point either were you continue to do what you hate doing. Or you climb out of that rut and find your purpose . . . . and peruse that purpose with passion and make it your mission.

Outstanding Leaders Booster the People Around Them

Motivational Power Quote

Outstanding Leaders Booster the People Around Them

of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing
what they can accomplish.”
Sam Walton 1918 -1992, Founder of Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club

As I see it . . . . . . .

The leader boosters a person’s self-esteem and will be there to offer a person a hand up, a pat on the back . . . . and they know when a person needs a push.

Stand Up to Your Obstacles

Motivational Power Quote

Stand Up to Your Obstacles
“Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will
find that they haven’t half the strength you think they have.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1898 – 1993, Minister, Positive
Thinking Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Stand up to your obstacles

When you first face an obstacle it can look overwhelming . . . .

When you face your obstacles they will begin stink under your persistence and positive thinking to put them behind you.

We all face obstacles in our lives . . . . when you confine them and deal with them you put them into prospective to take control of them.

Stand up to your obstacles . . . . and don’t allow them to grow or become unruly. Look at them as a temporary condition and take control of resolving the condition as best as you can . . . . and moving past the obstacle as soon as it’s reasonably possible.

When you stand up to your obstacles . . . . you take control of your success journey and the pace of your forward progress.

Communications is Interactive

Motivational Power Quote

Communications is Interactive
“Real communication is an attitude, an environment. It is the
most interactive of all processes. It requires countless hours
of eyeball to eyeball, back and forth. It involves more
listening than talking.”
Jack Walsh, Former CEO of General Electric

As I see it . . . . . . .

Communications is interactive

Communications is a process and the most effective communication remains face to face where the people are communicating at arm’s length distant.

Far too many people confuse the art of communication . . . . and believe that the person that has the most to say controls the communications.

In actually it has the opposite effect on communications . . . . the person that’s continually speaking . . . . loses control of the communication process along with the person that their speaking to.

The death of communication comes from speaking too much . . . . and not listening.

Effective communications involves far more listening than it does speaking.

The effective communicator is a proactive listener . . . . and as a result gathers a great deal of useful information.

The person that conditions themselves to listen . . . . will control the communications . . . . and come out on the winning side of the conversation.

Forget About it . . . .

Motivational Power Quote

Forget About it . . . .
“As for worrying about what other people might think – forget it.
They aren’t concerned about you. They’re too busy worrying
about what you and others people think of them.”
Michael Boeuf, Business Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Forget about it . . . .

Don’t worry about what other people are thinking about you . . . . because in most cases their not thinking about you at all.

And when you think about it for those who are thinking about you . . . . they have nothing better to do with their time?

Life is too short to worry about what other people think about you.

Set the stage for your life . . . . and conduct it in a manner that others will would have no choice other than to speak about you in a positive  manner.

Those that go around and speak about people in a negative manner are shallow people with a low self-image. They speak poorly about other people to try to hide their short-coming.

Do what has to be done . . . . and when you encounter shallow people take them for who they are . . . . and forget about it and move on.

never so good at its best that it is easy to live.”

Coasting in Your Comfort Zone

Motivational Power Quote

Coasting in Your Comfort Zone
“When coasting in our comfort zone, we don’t grow. We continue
to do more of the same . . . .  Maintaining a comfort zone can,
paradoxically, lead to discomfort in the long run. If by being
comfortable we avoid important life issues, internal tension
accumulates  . . . .  Eventually, as both internal and external
pressures for change persist, the comfort zone creates to serve us.”
Eric Allenbaugh, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Coasting in your comfort zone

Coasting in your comfort zone a one way ticket to imploding . . . . to the point to where your efforts of the past will become wasted.

Living in your comfort zone is living your life in circles . . . . with very little forward progress.

By stepping out of your comfort you release your personal power . . . . and you will see thing with a difference light. You will have to release your personal power . . . . to reach your full potential.

Put your comfort zone behind you . . . . and the wind at your back . . . .

There’s a Time for Talking and a Time for Action

Motivational Power Quote

There’s a Time for Talking and a Time for Action
“While it may be true that the pen is usually mightier than the
sword, unfortunately  there are times when only the sward is
effective at leaving that much needed lasting impression.”

Channel the Sort Into Power

Motivational Power Quote

Channel the Sort Into Power
“No steam or gas drives anything until it is confined. No Niagara
is ever turned into light and power until it is tunneled. No life
ever grows great until it is focused, dedicated and disciplined.”
Harry E. Fosdick 1878 – 1919, America Pastor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Channel the sort into power

The mighty Niagara River has also been a powerful river . . . . But wasn’t until man harnessed the power of the river where they able to harness the power and turn it into electricity for millions of homes and businesses.

You see it in business every day people have the desire to succeed and they work hard . . . . they move from task to task . . . . they put out fires. But at the end of the day they have made very little process in moving forward in their career.

It not the lack of desire that’s holding them back . . . . it’s the lack of focus that’s creating the issue.

The sort of your power is your person energy . . . . and when you use it with a purpose it becomes an enormous resource on your success journey. Focus your personal energy on achieving your objectives and in creating forward momentum.

Channel the sort into power . . . . unleash the power of your personal energy and create the momentum of the Niagara River in the direction of your goals.
