Live the Life You Were Meant to Live

Live the Life You Were Meant to Live
“There are times that we will face storms in our life. Those
storms will block the sunlight out of our day and block
us from living the life that we were meant to live.
The storms are only a temporary condition
when we choose to live the life we
were meant to life.”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .
Live the life you were meant to live

Your life . . . . Becomes the one that you choose to lead.

Make the choice to lead the life that you were meant to live . . . . and then live your life to its fullest.

The storms will come and go through-out  your life . . . . and there will be times that there will be storm debris left behind.

You can choose to weather the storm . . . . and clear up the debris in the wake of the aftermath . . . . and move past the condition. Or you can choose to become a victim of the storm.

Choose to live the life you were meant to life . . . . May take time . . . . hard work . . . . determination . . . . and faith in yourself to live that life.  In the long run your efforts and journey is one well worth taking.

Impossibilities Vanish

Impossibilities Vanish
“Man is so made that anything fires his soul,
impossibilities vanish.”
Jean de La Fontaine 1621 - 1695, French Poet

As I see it . . . . . . .
Impossibilities vanish

Have a passion in your heart for what you want to accomplish . . . . and a vision in your mind for how you will achieve the desired results.

Dare to dream big dreams that create the vision for your tomorrows. See the possibilities in your dreams . . . . until your dreams become your realities.

When you pursue your dreams with passion . . . . what once seemed in be impossible becomes within your reach and possible.

The only thing that becomes impossible is what you believe to be impossible.

Open you mind to what can be. . . .   see the possibilities . . . . and as you do you open your mind to a new world of what you life will be . . . . and impossibilities vanish.

Be Wiser Today Than Yesterday

Be Wiser Today Than Yesterday
“A man should never be ashamed to own that he has been
in the wrong which is but saying . . . That he is wiser
today than yesterday.”
Jonathan Swift 1667 - 1745, Anglo – Irish, Satirist,
Pamphleteer, Poet and Cleric

As I see it . . . . . . .
Be wiser today than yesterday

Yesterday is . . . . a cancelled check.

Tomorrow is . . . . an unknown and is a promissory note.

Today is the only cash you have for your future . . . . so invest it wisely.

Be wiser today than yesterday . . . . and your days accumulate value for your future.

You learn from the lessons of your past . . . . Your life will be spent in the future and your life lesson of the past become a valuable resource. How you invest your time today . . . . will determine what the value of your tomorrows will be.

Yesterday is in your life as a cancelled check . . . . and when you use the lessons of the past your future becomes brighter . . . . and be a wiser today than yesterday.

A Life of Purpose and Direction

A Life of Purpose and Direction
“Effort and courage are not enough without
purpose and direction.”

of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .
A life of purpose and direction

Your life needs a purpose and a direction to achieve your goals . . . .

If you’re not sure where you want to go . . . . or why you want to go there . . . . you may be moving. You will find yourself drifting without making any meaningful progress in your career.

Maintain a clear vision of where you want to go. Set your internal guidance system with the directions to get you there . . . . and use your IGS to keep you on the right course.

Have a purpose for your success journey . . . . set clear goals . . . . and you will have a direction to get there.

A life of purpose and direction . . . . will keep you on the right path and moving in the right direction with far less wasted time and effort.

What Can You Do Right Now to Succeed?

What Can You Do Right Now to Succeed?
“Worrying about the past or the future isn’t productive.
When you start chastising yourself for past mistakes,
or seeing disaster around every corner, stop and
take a breath and ask yourself what can I do
right now to succeed.”
Harvey Mackay, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker,
Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
What can you do right now to succeed?

Step out of your comfort zone . . . . and be willing to stretch yourself into the possibility zone of greater opportunity.

All of life becomes a chance! If we want to move into the winner’s circle of life you have to step out of your comfort zone . . . . and take a chance to create a brighter future.

You have to be willing to step outside of what you have always done  . . . . to be able to  step in the possibility zone. In the possibility zone you will . . . . find new doors to open and new opportunities.

It takes courage to leave the safety of your comfort zone behind you . . . . and to change your life . . . . and your future.

You first have to decide that you want change in your life . . . . and then to take the leap of faith to make the changes happen.

Your life can be anything that you choose to make it. Step out of the past to make your future what you want it to be . . . . You have to step out of our comfort zone . . . . and step into the possibility zone for a more productive future.

The question becomes . . . . What can you do right now to succeed?

Confidence is Built One Action at a Time

Confidence is Built One Action at a Time
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence
and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit
home and think about it. Go out and busy.”
Dale Carnegie 1888 – 1955, American Writer,
Lecturer

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Confidence is built one action at a time

You build confidence when you know where were going . . . . and how you’re going to get there.

By setting clear written goals . . . . You create a vision for your future and what you want to achieve.

By taking action . . . . you move in the direction of achieving your goals.

When you create a plan of action to get you to your goals . . . . you have now created the road map to accomplish your vision.

Your vision develops the pathway . . . . and the inner-confidence to fulfill your destiny of reaching your full potential.

As your confidence grows . . . .  you will find yourself setting bigger and bolder goals . . . . and you will commit yourself to stretching your limits to achieve those goals.

Have the confidence in yourself . . . . and in your actions . . . . and your doubts and fear will fade away.

Your success and confidence is built one action at a time . . . . as your confidence grows so will your success.

When Everything is Going Against You
“When you get into a tight place and when everything is going
against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on
a minute longer,  for that is just the place and time
that the tide will turn.”
Harriett Beecher Stowe 1811 – 1896, American Abolitionist,
Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
When everything is going against you

You will find yourself . . . . being tested on a regular basis.

Some days it would appear that quitting . . . . would be  the easiest way out.

Success is achieved by the person that sticks it out . . . . who makes the extra effort . . . .  tries a little bit longer . . . . and works a little bit harder.

Successful people see their challenges as an opportunity to achieve successful results. They are focused forward and are solution oriented.

Successful people don’t quit . . . . they may have to make adjustments to get them to their objectives . . . .but they don’t quit.

Your biggest breakthroughs in life will come in never quit trying . . . . and in keep going.

When everything is going against you . . . . step forward in the direction of your goals . . . . and keep going.

Your Actions Pave Your Way

Your Actions Pave Your Way
“Actions are the seeds of fate. Deeds grow into destiny.”
Harry S. Truman, 33rd President of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .
Your actions are the pathway to your destiny

Anything that you want in life . . . . is either owned or controlled by somebody else.

If you want something in life you have to go after it . . .  life won’t hand it to you.

Take control of your life . . . . and set your course. Pursue your destiny with determination . . . . purpose . . . . and the passion to achieve it.

You control your success journey . . . . and your destiny is in your hands. But it’s up to your to go for it.

Your actions pave the way . . . .  to your destiny. Act with a purpose . . . . and act with confidence to pave the way to achieve your destiny.

Continued Self-Improvement

Continued Self-Improvement
“In order to grow and become a better person you have
to admit your faults and admit that there are things
that you have to work on.”
Sonya Parker, Author

Continued self-improvement . . . . . . . .

Successful people do it everyday . . . .

People see it in success people  . . . . and call that person a natural.

You see it sports and in business . . . . where the successful people make it look easy.

A principle of successful people . . . . is to compete against themselves.

They practice the art of self-improvement . . . . and continue to become a little better then they were the day before. With each new day they repeat the step . . . . the step of continued self-improvement.

Continued personal improvement is the key to continued personal development . . . . and personal growth. As you commit yourself to self-improvement the only competition you have . . . . is yourself.

Compete with yourself . . . . Push yourself to become better . . . . And you will find that your continued self-improvement will pay an enormous role on your success journey to successful achieve your goals and to reach your objectives.

Luck is the End Result of Hard Word

Luck is the End Result of Hard Word
“I’m a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more
luck I have.”
Thomas Jefferson 1743 – 1826, Third President of the
United States, A Founding Father and the principal author
of the author of the Declaration of Independence

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Luck is the end result of hard work

Sweat is associated with hard work . . . . and luck is the result of hard work.

The harder you work . . . . the luckier you become.

Hard work + Sweat = Luck

The harder you’re willing to work the more you may sweat. Your labor will become fulfilling . . . . the sweat will be forgotten. The rewards of your labor will standout and be long lasting in achieving your goals.

Be willing to work hard and sweat to achieve your desired outcome.

Luck is the end result of hard work . . . . Commit yourself to your success journey . . . . and in doing hard work that will get you to your objectives.

Life is Like the Seasons of the Sun

Life is Like the Seasons of the Sun
“Even in rainy seasons the sun still shines don’t give up,
the sun night just shine.”
Prince Hopkins Amachee

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Life is like the seasons of the sun

Our lives are like the seasons of the sun . . . . with each season interlocked. You have to cultivate . . . . plant . . . .  nurture . . . . and harvest throughout your life to successfully harvest your goals.

If any of the steps are bypassed or missed . . . . what you’re able to harvest will become far less than your expectations.

Know what you want to achieve with your life . . . .

Turn your want list into written goal . . . .

Create a plan of action to achieve your goals.

Prepare yourself for your success journey . . . . and have the tools available to you to achieve your desired outcome.

Take action on your plan . . . . and remain focused on your goals and objective.

Don’t quit on yourself . . . . or your goals and objectives.

Life is like the seasons of the sun . . . . you seasons will pass and return . . . . plant the seeds of your success deep. And nurture those seeds to harvest your full potential.

The Building Blocks to Successful Results

The Building Blocks to Successful Results
Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your
heart in it, take yourself out of it.”
Hardy D. Jackson

As I see it . . . . . .
The building blocks to successful results

Your belief at the beginning of a challenging situation makes all the difference. When you believe in yourself it removes your doubt . . . . and allows you to set your course of action with confidence.

As you move into uncharted waters, there is apprehension and uncertainty. It’s at that moment . . . . your beliefs will determine your actions and the ultimate outcome.

Your beliefs determine the results . . . . and are the building block to successful results.

Your Actions Will Speak For You

Your Actions Will Speak For You
“A superior man acts before he speaks,
and afterward speaks according to his actions.”
Confucius 551 – 479 BC, Chinese Teacher, Editor,
Politician and Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .
Your actions will speak for you

Every action that you take will have . . . . an equal reaction . . . . and an element of risk associated with your actions.

The cost of success is in the willingness to take action . . . . and calculated risks in order to succeed.

Have the courage of your convictions . . . . and take the actions that will move you closer to achieving your goals.

Conversely remaining in your comfort zone will result in inaction. In that inaction there is greater risk with a higher probability of creating a massive failure then in taking a calculated risk to succeed.

The cost of success is in our planning . . . . in your efforts of taking action . . . . and accepting the possibility of a calculated risk.

Your actions will speak for you . . . . send out the message that you will succeed.

What’s Your Ambition?

What’s Your Ambition?
“Everyone has ambitions. The question is whether he is
ambitious to be or to do.”
Jean Monnet 1888 – 1921, French Political Economist,
Diplomat

As I see it. . . . . . . .
What’s your ambition?

Do we have the ambition to be? Or do we have the ambition to do?

The differences are worlds apart.

The ambition to be may or may not have the actions steps to accomplish your objectives.

The ambition to do establishes the goals to achieve your desired outcome.

Whenever there is an ambition to be . . . . and you combine it with the ambition to do . . . .  you create an ambition with a purpose.

What’s your ambition . . . . is a step in goal setting. When you know what you want accomplish . . . . Take the action step of how you will achieve the desired outcome . . . . and the how bring it all together.

The Risk of Comfortable Inaction

The Risk of Comfortable Inaction
“As we face the coming challenge, we too shall wait upon
the lord . . . . to give the individual the opportunity to
realize his own highest possibilities . . . . But they are
far less than long – range risks and
cost of comfortable inaction.”
John F. Kennedy 1917 – 1963, 35th President
of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

The risk of comfortable inaction

The cost of inaction comes with a high cost . . . . that exceeds the cost of an occasional mistake.

The cost of inaction is paid for in installment over a life time . . . . That cost is created by the lack of forward progress . . . . and the lack of achievement.

A person with a proactive plan that takes a calculated risk has a strategic advantage over the person who takes no action. The person that takes a calculated risk . . . .  risks a setback . . . . They also create the forward momentum and the opportunity to succeed.

Inaction freezes a person in place . . . . and the risk of long term failure increased as a result of their failure to act.

There are no sure things in life . . . . Success favors the person that person is proactive and takes action.

The risk of comfortable inaction . . . . comes with a high cost . . . . of being left behind without ever realizing your full potential.

We First Succeed or Fail in Our Thinking

We First Succeed or Fail in Our Thinking

The journey of success or failure is first occurs in the way we think . . . . and that thinking then is transfers in our hearts and into actions.

The way you go through your day . . . . The actions you take are a direct reflection of your thinking.

A positive thinker has a positive outlook for their future.  They will move through their day with positive expectations for the day . . . . and their future. They will move pass their obstacles and challenges remaining focused on their long term objectives.

A negative thinker looks at the road in front of them as one filled with potholes and endless detours. They will become sidetracked by the fog of their challenges . . . . and lose the forward momentum.

A positive thinker . . . . finds a way to successfully work their way through their challenges . . . . The negative thinker will surrender to their challenges.

The only true defeat a person experiences in life is the one that comes from within . . . . by quitting on themselves.

We first succeed or fail in our thinking . . . . Keep your thinking positive and your eyes fixed on achieving your goals . . . . and you will experience a life of unlimited possibilities.

Life is a Series of Choices

Life is a Series of Choices
I have no choice about whether or not I have Parkinson’s.
I have nothing but choices about how I react to it.
In those choices, there’s freedom to do a lot of
things in the areas that I wouldn't
have otherwise found myself in.
Michael J. Fox, Actor

As I see it . . . . . . .
Life is a series of choices

Life is 8 percent of what happens to you . . . . and 92 percent on how you respond to the things that happen to you.

Life is a series of choices . . . .

You may not always be able to control what happens to you . . . . but you can control what you do as a result of what happens.

The choice you make will make all the difference . . . . on the direction that your life takes.

When your focused on what happened to you  . . . . your focusing on a past event.

Look at what happened . . . . use it as a life experience . . . . learn from it . . . . use it to grow as a person. Don’t dwell on it or live in the past.

Use the positive experiences as stepping stones to achieving your goals. Use the negative experiences as red flags to what to avoid in the future.

The choices you made will make a difference . . . . Focus on making the choices to create forward momentum on your success journey . . . . and make the choice to keep the negative experience in your life a minimum.

Life is a series of choices . . . . the choices you make will create your future.

There are No Free Lunches in Life . . . .

There are No Free Lunches in Life . . . .
Success will not be handed to you . . . . It’s earned . . . .
through your determination . . . . and hard work.
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant, Success Coach,
Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .
There are no free lunches in life . . . .

When someone wants to give you a free lunch . . . . look for the strings to be attached to their “free” offer.

The path you follow in your life . . . . is a choice . . . . your choice.

For those who choose to follow the path of the free lunch . . . . Will find them self losing control of their decision making and find them self living under the roof of the free lunch.

When you make the choice to make your own way . . . . and to pay for  your own lunch. You have made the choice to take control of your decision making . . . . and your life.

With that decision you take the responsibility . . . . for the path you chose to travel . . . . and for your results.

Be wary of the person that makes the offer of a free lunch . . . . and look for the strings that are attached to the offer. For the strings that are attached is control.

There are no free lunches in life . . . . It’s better to be free . . . . and to pay for your own lunch.

To Ask Why

To Ask Why
“Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one to ask why.”
Bernard Baruch, American Statesman

As I see it . . . . . . .
To ask why

Ask questions . . . . to gain insight.

Ask questions . . . . to gather more information.

Ask questions . . . . to understand.

Ask questions . . . . to get answers.

Ask questions . . . . to learn and increase our knowledge.

Ask questions . . . . in order to help other people.

Ask questions . . . . to be an effective negotiator.

Never fear to ask questions . . . . and never fear the answers.

Asking questions incorporated with active listening skills leads to understanding . . . . Understanding leads to knowledge . . . . and knowledge leads to the answers.

The person with the most knowledge used effectively is in control of the conversation.

To ask why . . . . leads to answers . . . . and answers are the stepping stones to your future success.
