Become Time Conscious

Motivational Power Quote

Become Time Conscious
“If before going to bed every night, you will tear a page from
the calendar, and remark, ‘there goes another day of my
life never to return’ you will become time conscious.”
A.B. Zu Tavern, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Become time conscious

Be conscious of your time and you will have an awaking . . . .

You meet two people . . . .

One will say to you that they don’t know where their time went today . . . . They will also tell you that they were so busy and yet it seems like they’ve got nothing done.

While the other person will say . . . . My day was very active and I was able to get a lot accomplished.

One person went into their day without a plan, flying by the seat of their pants . . . . The other person went into their day with a written to do list that they could measure their activity and what they completed against there to do list.

At the end of the day they both would tear a page from their calendar . . . .

One will fall to the floor as a wasted day . . . .  While the other person will tear a page from their calendar and deposit it in their annuity account of a productive day.

Become time conscious . . . . and your days will become productive and you will create long term value in your life.

Exceptional Leaders Will . . . .

Motivational Power Quote

Exceptional Leaders Will . . . .
“If your actions create a legacy that inspires other to dream more,
learn more, do more and become more, then you are an
excellent leader.”
Dolly Parton, Entertainer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Exceptional leaders will . . . .

Exceptional leaders are doers and you will see them leading from the front . . . . and taking personal responsibility for their actions to achieve a successful outcome.

There’s leadership that may formal by title . . . . Or in many cases its informal and they lead by example. The leader that leads by example will inspire and attract far more followers then a leader who tries merely to lead by title only.

Leaders that are doers . . . . Become exceptional leaders by their actions and command respect by their example.

Exceptional leaders inspire the best in the people around them and they will encourage to step out of the status quo and to spread your wings. They also will expect more from the people around and in that expectation the people around them respond and grow as a person.

You will know when you’re in the presents of an exceptional leader . . . . Because there are inspiring the people around them through their actions and deeds.

An exceptional leader will . . . . earn that title by leading by example, developing and inspiring the people around them.

You Begin With the First Step

Motivational Power Quote

You Begin With the First Step
“Take the first step, and your mind will mobilize all its forces
to your aid, but the first essential is that you begin. Once the
battle is started, all that is within and without you will come
to your assistance.”
Robert Collier 1885 – 1950, American Author, Self- Help Writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

You begin with the first step

There are those sit and talk about what they are going to do . . . . and there are those who have the courage to step out of their comfort zone.  They take the first step to do what has to be done to expand their horizon.

The first step is the beginning of the journey of reaching new heights of opportunity and greater levels of success. They will only be reached by leaving the status quo behind you and by stepping into the possibility zone.

The first step that you take may not be a big one . . . . It’s not the size of the step that’s important. What is important is taking the first step. From that first step you will begin to gather forward momentum . . . . By stepping in the right direction you will continually move you in the direction of your goals and objectives.

To reach your destination . . . . you begin with first step in the right direction and by moving forward . . . . everything becomes possible.

Does Opportunity Knock?

Motivational Power Quote

Does Opportunity Knock?
“What is opportunity, and does it knock? It never knocks. You can
wait a whole lifetime, listening, hoping, and you will hear no
knocking. None at all. You are opportunity, and you must knock
on the door leading to your destiny. You prepare yourself to
recognize opportunity, to pursue and seize opportunity as you
develop the strength of your personality, and build a self-image
with which you are able to live – with self-respect
alive and growing.”
Maxwell Maltz 1899 – 1975, author, plastic surgeon,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Does opportunity knock?

Opportunity is discovered by the person that has prepared themselves to succeed and has an open mind to see the possibilities.

The person that’s waiting for opportunity to knock should be well prepared to wait a life time . . . .

The person that prepares themselves . . . . will see the opportunities through the eyes of their preparation and attitude. They say that things don’t come easy . . . . but for those who are prepared seem to discover the opportunities that others never see.

Preparation puts you in a power position to maximize your opportunities and to bring them to a successful outcome.

Does opportunity knock? Opportunities exist to those that actively seek them out and are prepared when they discover them.

Break Your Emotional Logjam

Motivational Power Quote

Break Your Emotional Log Jam
“Deal first with whatever is causing you the greatest emotional
distress. Often this will break the logjam in your work and
free up mentally to complete the other tasks.”
Brian Tracy, Motivational Author, Speaker, Coach, Trainer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Break your emotional logjam

Your thoughts can backup and create emotional log jam in your thinking. The logjam will slow your positive thinking down to a trickle. It will also hinder your creative thinking almost to the point of being none existing and to where you become nonproductive.

An emotional logjam in your thinking creates an enormous amount of distress in your life.

Look for the root of what’s causing of the emotional logjam . . . .

Just like a logjam in a stream . . . . A mental logjam has taken time to become what is today. What starts with one thing accumulates until the thought process becomes blocked and the distress in your life grows in an unacceptable level.

In the steam you have to look at what’s causing the logjam. When you find it and you have to begin removing the obstructions until you break the logjam and  your thoughts begins to flow freely.

Get down to the root cause of your emotional logjam and start to remove what’s causing the blockage. As you remove them . . . . there will be a point where the emotional logjam breaks the distress in your life is lifted.

Break the emotional logjam . . . . and you will regain your positive outlook and your creatively will return.

What You Reread is a Window of Who You Are

Motivational Power Quote

What You Reread is a Window of Who You Are
“Tell me what you read and I’ll tell you who you are is true
enough, but I know better if you told me what you reread.”
Francois Mauriac 1885 – 1970, French Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

What you reread is a window of who you are

There is true in  . . . . that if you would read on a topic for one hour a day for five years that . . . . you will become a subject matter expert on the topic.

What you reread is a window of who you are . . . . When you go back and reread the material each time you do you extract more and more information from what you’re reading.

The first time you read the material you take away information. As you continue to reread the material you are gaining additional knowledge and insight on the subject matter. In time by rereading the material you will become a recognized subject matter expert.

Over time what you reread will shape you into the person that you will become . . . . and shape you future.

What you reread is a window of who you are . . . . and where your career path will take you.

Clear Out The Cobwebs

Motivational Power Quote

Clear Out The Cobwebs
“Sometimes the biggest gain in productive energy will come
from cleaning the cobwebs, dealing with old business, and
clearing the desks – cutting loose debris that impeding
forward motion.”
David Allen Author Personal and Organizational Effectiveness

As I see it . . . . . . .

Clear out the cobwebs

There are times that your energy seems to sink and you’re bogged down in loose ends and things are just not going right.

Clear out the cobwebs in your thinking and dig out of the layers of old and undone business that’s hanging over your head that’s draining your energy.

Look at the pile of old stuff that your facing . . . . and remember how you eat an elephant . . . . one bite at a time. Your old stuff is like the elephant and when you first look at it . . . . it looks overwhelming.

Look at your old stuff and sort through it . . . . decide what’s important by their priorities and what you can let go of. Create a written list and action plan for what has to done by their order of importance.

Don’t focus on the elephant . . . . focus on the next thing on your list and your list will become manageable one thing at a time.

Get Off the Fence

Motivational Power Quote

Get Off the Fence
“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you get off on
sometimes. What matters is getting off. You cannot make
progress without making decisions.”
Jim Rohn 1930 – 2009, American Entrepreneur, Author,
Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Get off the fence

When there’s a decision that has to be made . . . . Make it and get off the fence and do what has to be done.

You can go into a business planning meeting . . . . and no one wants to speak up, make a decision or put their idea on the table. They sit there in gridlock and nothing positive is happening.

They’re setting there with passive body language and avoiding eye contact because they don’t want to be asked a question . . . . or asked to make a decision.

The people around the table are in fear of making a mistake or in presenting their viewpoint . . . . that could be difference then what’s being presented.

There is no forward progress in setting on the fence . . . . And when people are not making decisions they are heading in the direction of falling off the fence . . . . and accepting other people making decisions for them.

When you give up your give up your right or ability to make decisions . . . . you surrender you future to other peoples whims.

Don’t be a fence sitter . . . Get off the fence . . . . and when a decision has to be made . . . . make it.

Motivational Power Quote

Optimists are Right
“Optimists are right. So are pessimists. It’s up to you to
choose which you will be.”
Harvey Mackay, American Entrepreneur Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Optimists are right

The optimist will move through their life with a . . . . positive outlook.

When an optimist are faced with a challenging situation . . . . they believe that they can successfully work their way through their challenges.  They approach their challenges with a positive outlook with the expectations of positive results. They will come up with the best acceptable solution and apply the actions to resolve the challenge successfully.

The optimist sees their glass of life as being . . . . half full and will work at filling the rest of their glass. They also look for and find the opportunities in their setbacks.

An optimist believes that they can do what has to be done . . . . and will go about doing it with a positive outlook and attitude.

A pessimist sees their life through the eyes of their glass being half empty and they see their glass with a hole in it and no way to stop the leak. They see the worst in situations that they find themselves in . . . . and can’t see a way out of it or a solution.

From the pessimist viewpoint about life is things can’t be done. They have an attitude of why should they even try and when they make an effort it’s uninspired. A pessimist will try to convince the people around them that what they’re doing is a waste of time.

The differences between an optimist and a pessimist are worlds apart. An optimist believes that they will succeed and will do everything possible to make what they believe come true. They see the best in the world and contribute to make it better.

An optimist has a positive outlook about their life . . . . and approaches their life with a positive belief system and attitude.

Whatever you may believe . . . . optimists are right.

Unlocking the Secret to Customer Satisfaction

Motivational Power Quote

Unlocking the Secret to Customer Satisfaction
There’s no great mystery to satisfying your customers.
Build them a quality product and treat them with
respect. It’s that simple.”
Lee Iacocca, auto executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Unlocking the secret to customer satisfaction

A key to satisfying customers is to understand your customer, their motivation, their needs and their expectations. Creating customers satisfaction is not created in a vacuum, it’s a joint venture between the customer, your company and yourself.

Your product has to meet the customer’s needs and exceed the customer’s expectations in order to be of value to them.

A product that falls short in meeting a customer’s expectations either will result in no business being transacted, no referrals or no future business. Missed expectations creates a, lose – lose situation for all of the parties.

In most cases your product is your service. Your service has to exceed the customer’s expectation for you to remain competitive and to compete in a competitive business environment. Establish the customer’s expectations for your service and make every effort to exceed that expectation.

Be respectful of the customer’s and their needs and you will build rapport and confidence with the customer’s

Unlocking the secret to customer satisfaction is in understanding the customer and exceeding their expectations.

Build Your Career on a Concrete Foundation

Motivational Power Quote

Build Your Career on a Concrete Foundation
“Reduce your plan to writing. The moment you complete
this you will have definitely, given concrete form
to the intangible desire.”
Napoleon Hill 1883 -1970, Author, Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Build your career on a concrete foundation

The stronger you build your career foundation . . . . the more weight it will support on your success journey.

When your foundation is strong it will withstand the headwinds of the obstacles, setback and failures that you encounter on your mission to achieve your goals no matter how serious they are.

You will have the footing on a solid surface to regroup and continue to peruse your objectives.

Your foundation also has to support the weight of greater opportunities and reaching greater levels of success.

A foundation can crumble under the weight of negative conditions as well as from the weight of success when it not on a foundation of concrete.

Build your career on a concrete foundation . . . . of your personal values and by setting high standards in your life and business. Remain committed to your values and standard. And when you’re asked to compromise them stay true to your beliefs and in those moments your foundation will be there to support you.
