Motivational Power Quote
What You Reread is a Window of Who
You Are
“Tell me what you read and I’ll tell you
who you are is true
enough, but I know better if you told me
what you reread.”
Francois Mauriac 1885 – 1970, French
Author
As I see it . . . . . . .
What you reread is a window of who you
are
There is true in . . . . that if you would read on a topic for
one hour a day for five years that . . . . you will become a subject matter expert
on the topic.
What you reread is a window of who you
are . . . . When you go back and reread the material each time you do you
extract more and more information from what you’re reading.
The first time you read the material you
take away information. As you continue to reread the material you are gaining
additional knowledge and insight on the subject matter. In time by rereading
the material you will become a recognized subject matter expert.
Over time what you reread will shape you
into the person that you will become . . . . and shape you future.
What you reread is a window of who you
are . . . . and where your career path will take you.
