Motivational Power Quote
Tell Me More
“Listening is a highest art of living.
Ask yourself “When was the last time
I really listed to my child? My parents?
My brother or sister?”
When someone is ready to share, three magic words
amplify
you connection, and they are: ‘tell me more’.”
Rev. Mary Manin Morrissey
As I see it . . . . . . .
Tell me more
The most interesting people that you
will ever meet . . . . are the one’s that say to you “tell me more” . . . .
What makes the person so interesting is
that they are showing an interest in you . . . . and when they ask you to tell
them more . . . . they are showing interest in you . . . . and respect for you.
You will find at dinner parties and
business events . . . . that the person who engages the people that they meet
and encourages them to talk by asking them open ended question will build
instant rapport with the person.
More people have a conversation inside
them . . . . When you say tell me more, they will and two things will happen. They
will tell you that they enjoyed the conversation and you will have gained a
friend.
