Communications is an Acquired Skill

Communications is an Acquired Skill
“Communications is a skill that you can learn.  It’s like riding
a bicycle or typing. If you’re willing to work at it, you
can rapidly improve the quality of every
part of your life.”
Brian Tracy, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Communications is an acquired skill

Communications is a success skill . . . . and as a business professional effective communications is required at every level of your business.

You are communicating through an array of formats, one on one . . . . to a groups of people . . . . and your communicating at a distances.

You are communicating through you personal promotion and marketing . . . . your web site . . . . your blog . . . .  and through your written communications and email.

What you say and how you say it . . . . will impact your professional image and how other people see you as a business professional.

Communications is an acquired skill . . . . as well as a success skill that is under continuous development. Your communication skills will speak volumes for who you are as a professional . . . . let it speak kindly of you.

When The Time For Change Comes - Change

Motivational Power Quote

When The Time For Change Comes - Change
“There is at least one point in the history of any company
When you have to change dramatically
to rise to the next level of performance,
miss that moment and you start to decline.”
                 Andy Grove, Intel CEO

As I see it . . . . . . .

When the time for change comes – change

The history of the business world is littered with failed business models.

The businesses didn’t fail because they couldn’t change or adjust, they failed because they refused acknowledge the shifts in the business environment and tried to push either a dying or dead business model.

A business that fails to change . . . . Fails.

Businesses have to continually stay in tune with the consumers by evaluating their products or services and the way they’re delivered to the market.

As we evaluate the market for our product services we have to ask the tough questions:

■ Is there a market for the product and service and how deep is market?

■ Is there a market for your products and services in the form   that they’re being offered to the market?

          ■ Is the message reaching the right target market?

■ What has to be changed or adjusted to maximize your marketing effort?

■ Are you offering the right products and services to fit the changing demands of the marketplace?

■ Does your customer services meet and exceed the customers expectation
Here are three key questions that have to be asked; are your products and services delivering value to your customers?  Are they willing to pay for it? And if not why?

A business will only remain relevant when there is a need for the products and service and when the customer perceives that value exceeds the price.

When the time for change comes – change.

Motivational Power Quote

Business Lessons From Apple Computer
“Business has only two functions
marketing and innovation.”
Peter F. Drucker, business expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Business lessons from Apple Computer

Steve Jobs has build Apple’s brand on two basic business principals innovation and marketing.

Apple Computer creates cutting edge product innovation that their customers readily embrace, freely recommend and buy.

As a result of their product innovation Apple Computer has created generations of raving fans and repeat business.

If you have visited an Apple computer store in a shopping center or a mall you see one of the busiest stores in the shopping center or in the model.

Apple Computer attracts people into their stores like a magnet and many times when you walk into store its standing room only.

The Apple Computer’s customers are early adapters. As they buy the new product the Apple customers create buzz for the product and free marketing for Apple and their innovated products.

Much of Apple Computer’s success has been created by world of mouth endorsements and their products being sold by world of mouth.

Apples’ marketing is not an over the tops expensive marketing program, its grass rooted that as no direct cost to the company.

Apples customers have freely created buzz marketing for the company as a result of Apple’s innovational products and the customer overall satisfaction of the products.

Similar products to Apple sell for far less, but the people keep returning to Apple to buy their innovated products.

The business lessons from apple computer is their cutting edge innovation creates satisfied customers. When Apple combines their innovation with satisfied customers Apple creates raving fans.
