Break Free of the Old Ways

Break Free of the Old Ways
“Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way,
ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer
of the future.”
Depak Chopra, Indian-American Physician, Holistic
Heath/New Age Guru

As I see it . . . . . . .

Break free of the old ways

One of the biggest traps a business professional can fall into . . . . is getting trapped into doing it the same old way . . . . Because that’s the way you have always done it.

Doing it the same old way is living in the world of the status quo . . . . and living in the past. In that world you are being left behind by an ever changing business environment . . . . The longer you resist change and fail to adapt the further you fall behind the business curve and increase the odds of a business failure.

When you live in the world of the past you become a prisoner . . . . out of date thinking and obsolete methods that will no longer support you on your success journey.

Break free of the old ways . . . . and become a pioneer of your future.

on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office.”

United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

Unquestionably integrity

Unquestionably integrity . . . . is the foundation to carry the weight of persons success journey through the changing condition they encounter.

Respond and Adapt to Change

Motivational Power Quote

Respond and Adapt to Change
“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the
most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”
Charles Darwin 1809 -1882, English Naturalist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Respond and adapt to change

The one constant in life is change . . . . those that positively respond and adapt to change will not only survive . . . . they will thrive in the times of changing condition.

For those who resist change . . . . will find themselves in the same position of a tree facing high winds. The tree that bends with the winds will survive the storm.  The tree that becomes brittle in high winds . . . . will break under the conditions and the force of the high winds.

You have to respond and adapt to change in the business environment and be ready to bend with the winds of change to remain competitive and survive.

The business environment is littered with business models that did not respond and adapt to change and have faded into history of failed businesses.

Look forward and as the business environment shifts and changes . . . . be ready to respond and adapt to change . . . . and you will find yourself on the leading edge of change.

Open Your Mind to New Ideas and Opinions

Motivational Power Quote

Open Your Mind to New Ideas and Opinions
“New opinions are always suspected and usually opposed, without
any other reason but because they are not common.”
John Locke 1632 – 1704, British Philosopher, Physician

As I see it . . . . . . .

Open your mind to new ideas and opinions

The only thing in life that constant is change . . . . and the fastest way to fall behind the curve is to keep your thinking focused on the past.

You either have to open your mind and embrace new ideas and opinions to be on the leading edge of change to succeed . . . . or you don’t and you will be left behind by it.

When you open your mind to new ideas and opinions . . . . you are stepping into the future better equipped to handle the challenges in a shifting business environment.

Those that embrace change with an open mind will find themselves . . . . on the pathway to succeed. For those that are not willing to adapt to new concepts will find themselves falling off the pace and being left further behind.

Open your mind to new ideas and opinions . . . . and you will find yourself moving to the front of your profession and  creating opportunities that others are missing.

When The Time For Change Comes - Change

Motivational Power Quote

When The Time For Change Comes - Change
“There is at least one point in the history of any company
When you have to change dramatically
to rise to the next level of performance,
miss that moment and you start to decline.”
                 Andy Grove, Intel CEO

As I see it . . . . . . .

When the time for change comes – change

The history of the business world is littered with failed business models.

The businesses didn’t fail because they couldn’t change or adjust, they failed because they refused acknowledge the shifts in the business environment and tried to push either a dying or dead business model.

A business that fails to change . . . . Fails.

Businesses have to continually stay in tune with the consumers by evaluating their products or services and the way they’re delivered to the market.

As we evaluate the market for our product services we have to ask the tough questions:

■ Is there a market for the product and service and how deep is market?

■ Is there a market for your products and services in the form   that they’re being offered to the market?

          ■ Is the message reaching the right target market?

■ What has to be changed or adjusted to maximize your marketing effort?

■ Are you offering the right products and services to fit the changing demands of the marketplace?

■ Does your customer services meet and exceed the customers expectation
Here are three key questions that have to be asked; are your products and services delivering value to your customers?  Are they willing to pay for it? And if not why?

A business will only remain relevant when there is a need for the products and service and when the customer perceives that value exceeds the price.

When the time for change comes – change.
