Innovation is a Process

Innovation is a Process
“Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best
to admit them quickly and get on with improving
your other innovations.”
Steve Jobs 1955 - 2011, Entrepreneur, Marketer, Inventor,
Co-Founder of Apple, Chairman and CEO of Apple Inc

As I see it . . . . . . .

Innovation is a process

When you innovate you will be thinking out of the box . . . . using your creative talents to find the answers. Also an innovator will push their limits to create the breakthrough.

An innovator lives on the edge . . . . and on that edge they will make mistakes.

Mistakes are part of the growth cycle in life . . . . when your stretching yourself forward mistakes will happen.

When you make a mistake . . . . admit as quickly as possible. Look for the solutions to the mistake . . . . implement the solutions . . . . solve the condition . . . . and move pass it as soon as possible.

The key is admitting the mistake and focusing on the solutions and you are investing your time in resolving the mistake and putting the mistake behind you.

Innovation is a process . . . . and in that process there will be mistakes. Innovator . . . . admit their mistake . . . . find a solution  . . . . and move on.

Turn the Page

Turn the Page
“It’s always been my philosophy: Turn the page. If something
falls through, turn the page. It’s over with, get used to it,
get on with it. Very simple. It’s always worked for me.”
Merv Griffin 1925 – 2007, American TV Host,
Musician, Actor, Media Mogal

As I see it . . . . . . .

Turn the page

Something’s just don’t work out . . . .

Even with the best of intentions . . . . things can still come up short.

Your have given it a 100% effort . . . . but things just don’t work out as you planned.

There solace in knowing that you have done your best . . . .   and in reality things don’t work out a 100%.

When your effort is strong and you give it your best you put yourself into the positive to succeed . . .

Here’s the point . . . . it what you do when you encounter a setback that will make all the difference.

When things don’t work out . . . . you can deny it . . . . blame someone else . . . . make excuse . . . .

Or you can use the condition as a learning experience . . . . put it  behind you . . . . learn from it . . . . and turn the page . . . . and move on.

Motivational Power Quote

Mistakes Are the Tolls You Pay on Your Success Journey
“What to do with a mistake – recognize it, admit it,
learn from it, forget it.”
Dean Smith, basketball coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Mistakes are the tolls you pay on your success journey

A mistake can be a learning experience that can contributes to your long term success or become a weight on your shoulders that pulls you down. Whatever you do with a mistakes becomes your choice.

Indentify your mistakes and what caused them to occur. Determine what happen and why they happened. Move pass the mistake and find a way not to repeat the mistake in the future.

You can admit to your mistakes and grow from them or you can be in a state of denial and be destined to repeat them.

You can carry them around to the point of exhaustion or you can move on and forget them.

Mistakes are the tolls you pay on your success journey. Pay them once and use them a learning experience and move pass them and move on.

Problems Don’t Improve With Age
“. . . ones objective should be to get it right,
get it quick, get it out and get it over . . .
Your problem won’t improve with age.”
Warren Buffet, American Businessman, Investor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Problem don’t improve with age

When you have unsolved problem it feels like your carrying around two full buckets of water with you throughout the day.

The weight of water puts a strain on your mental outlook and the longer your carrying the water around you will find the more your productive is slipping.

Problems don’t improve with age . . . .

In reality problems that go unresolved become worst and will take far more time and effort to resolve then if the problems were addressed immediately.

When you’re faced with a problem address it, resolve it and move on.

Problems don’t improve with age; in reality unresolved problems age us.

Successful Problem Solving

Motivational Power Quote

Successful Problem Solving
“The measure of success is not whether you have
a tough problem to deal with,
but whether it’s the same problem you had last year.”
John Foster Dulles, U.S. Secretary of State 1953 -1959

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success problem solving

It’s not a question if we’re going to have a problem because we all face problems; it’s more of a question of when.

The key to any problem is how we respond and handle it.

When we neglect to handle a problem it has the tendency to grow and multiply and very likely become out of control.

When a problem occurs it needs to be address and brought to the best solution that available to us.

The measure of successful problem solving is to get to the root cause of the problem to ensure that the problem does not occur again. To handle the problem one time and to come up with the most desirable solution and to move on.

Deal With it and Put it Behind You

Motivational Power Quote

Deal With it and Put it Behind You
“The measure of success is not whether you

John Foster Dulles, US secretary of State 1953 – 1959

As I see it . . . . . . .

Deal with it and put it behind you

As a business professional we are professional problem solvers.

The professional deals with the problem, determines the best course of action and takes the actions to resolve the problem. Professionals solves the problem put it behind them and moves on.

They realize that a problem effectively resolved is the best use of their time and resources. To allow the same problem to resurface at a later time is like a cat chasing their tail there’s a lot of running around in circles but no effective progress.

When a problem comes into your life, deal with it and put it behind you and move on.

When You Make a Mistake Admit it

Motivational Power Quote

When You Make a Mistake Admit it

“Don’t Argue for other people’s weakness.
Don’t argue for your own.
When you make a mistake,
admit it, correct it,
and learn from it immediately.”
Stephen R. Covey, Author and speaker
As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you make a mistake admit it

When a mistake is made don’t waste your time and energy trying to defend it. Admit the mistake find the solution and move on.

Mistakes are a fact of life and they will happen. Learn from the mistake and you stay in control of your situation and you will control the outcome.

When you make a mistake admit it and move on.

Problems Don’t Improve With Age

Problems don’t improve with age

A problem unsolved becomes a burden that can crush us under its weight. In facing a problem focus on the solution not the problem. Concentrate on finding answers to the problem and implement the solutions.

Work through your problems as best as you can as quickly as possible and move on.
