Getting Things Done
“When it comes to getting things done, we need
fewer architects and more bricklayers.”
Colleen C. Barrett, President of Southwest Airlines

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Getting things done

Talking about it doesn’t get it done . . . . talking is just a lot of conversation with no action.

Thinking about it without action . . . . won’t go very far in getting it done. In time your thoughts without action fade away . . . . and become a distant memory.

When you have a vision with a plan . . . . and want to get it done your on your way to getting it done. It will also take rolling up your sleeves . . . . and hard work to get it done.

When you want to get it done . . . .  commit yourself to the activities to successfully reach your objectives. Also commit yourself to a course of action . . . . and to stay on purpose. When your committed . . . . and have a plan to get it done you won’t become distracted by the obstacles that you may encounter.

Do what has to be done . . . . Make the efforts to keep you moving in the right direction . . . . and staying on course remaining focused on your desired outcome.

Getting things done takes a commitment of . . . . effort . . . . hard work . . . . time . . . . and patience’s.

Specialize and Standout

Specialize and Standout
“You specialize in something until one day
You find it is specializing in you.”
Arthur Miller, playwright

As I see it . . . . . . .

Specialize and standout

The road to success and prosperity is the road of the specialist.

Become a specialist in a market niche . . . . and standout.

Put your full energy and efforts into growing that niche into an unstoppable business force to where you are seen as an expert in your field.

As an expert in your field people will seek you out for your advice . . . . and counsel. To the point where you stand heads and shoulders above your competitors  . . . . and you will become their go to person in your profession.

Be Thankful for YOUR Blessing

Be Thankful for YOUR Blessing
“No Matter how bad someone has it there are others who have it
worse. Remember that makes life a lot easier and allows you
to take pleasure in the blessings you have been given.”
Lou Holtz, Football Coach

As I see it . . . . . . .

Be thankful for YOUR blessing

When you look around you will see people who are blessed with more then you have . . . . You will also see people who have far less then what you have.

Be thankful for your blessing . . . . and if you want more of something in your life . . . . What is your goal to attract it into your life . . . . and are you committed to invest your time and efforts that required to achieve it.

Be thankful for you blessing is the key . . . . It creates a positive focus in your life and it will center you on what you want to attract. Both are positive and productive attributes that points you’re thinking forward.

Also being thankful for your blessing . . . . is focusing inward . . . . and not focusing what someone else has. Because what they have is not relevant to your life . . . . or your happiness .

Be thankful for YOUR blessing . . . . is the stepping stone into your future and what you attract into your life.

The Grind and the Glory

The Grind and the Glory

“Winners take the time to relish their work, knowing that scaling
the mountain is what makes the view from the top so exhilarating.”
Denis Waitley, Motivational Speaker and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

The grind and the glory

You will extend a great deal of effort . . .  energy . . . . and time to achieve your goals.

Your success journey will take you on the road of discovery . . . . Imagination  . . . . and accomplishment.

There will also be times that you will have to grind it out . . . . to navigate challenging conditions . . . . Overcome setbacks . . . . and to working your way through a failure.

The conditions change . . . . and the pace varies throughout your success journey.

What should remain a constant is your eyes should be fixed forward on your goals and objectives. What often is overlooked is that in order to achieve your goals is your going to have to stay strong . . . . and grind it out.

Along the way take joy in your accomplishments and celebrate your successes as they become the stepping stones to your goals and objectives.

The grind and the gory . . . . is to be able to step into the winner’s circle of life you will have to grind it out in order to reach the gory of your successes.

The Real Test of Courage in Internal

Motivational Power Quote

The Real Test of Courage in Internal
“Courage is not limited to the battlefield. The real tests of courage are much quieter. They are the inner test, like enduring pain when the room is empty or standing alone when you’re misunderstood.”
Charles Swindoll, Evangelical Christian Pastor,
Author, Educator

As I see it . . . . . . .

The real test of courage is internal . . . .

The real test of courage can come in the solitude in your quiet moments . . . . when you have to make a decision that only you can make . . . . and you make it.

Or it can be in the chaos and the craziness in a condition that you find yourself in . . . . and your step forward to take control on the situation.

The real test of courage in internal . . . . and is in that moment when an ordinary person steps forward . . . . and performs in an extraordinary fashion.

In that moment you can change the course of event . . . . the direction of your life . . . . or create a breakthrough. What you do in that moment comes from within and in your actions to meet the challenges in the moment.

The real test of courage in internal . . . . and many time your efforts go unnoticed . . . . but you know what you did . . . . and you did what is important.

Turn it Into a Strength

Motivational Power Quote

Turn it Into a Strength
“My attitude is that if you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength.”
Michael Jordan, Basketball Player

As I see it . . . . . . .

Turn it into a strength

A perceived weakness . . . . is only a weakness until you master it.

One of the many great things about life . . . . Is that you have the opportunity for personal growth . . . . and there are no limits on how far you will go and how much you will grow.

It takes a deep desire to take a perceived weakness . . . . and to turn that weakness  into a strength. It will take time . . . . an extended effort . . . . hard work . . . . and determination to master your weakness.

A weakness is only a weakness . . . . as long as you allow it to exist in your life. Your have the capacity to push it out of your life and leave it on the curb.

Take a weakness and turn it into a strength . . . . and you will have created a new success habit . . . . and repeat that step has needed. And you will find yourself becoming stronger with less and less weaknesses in your life.

Persistence’s is a Success Habit

Motivational Power Quote

Persistence’s is a Success Habit
“Failure is only postpones success as long as courage coaches
ambition. The habit of presentence is a habit of victory.”
Herbert Kaufman 1878 – 1947, American Writter

As I see it . . . . . . .

Persistence’s is a success habit

Close only counts in the games quates and horse shoes.

You don’ get a touchdown . . . . for almost catching a pass in the end zone. You get a touchdown by playing the game with persistence’s and getting to the end zone.

You don’t get a homerun . . . . for a ball you hit into the stands foul. You get a homerun when step back in the battler’s box and hit the ball into the stands fair.

You achieve success in the real estate profession . . . . when you prepare yourself to succeed and through focused and persistence effort.

Persistence’s will move you to the top of your profession and keep you there. Persistence’s also will keep you going . . . . and pull you forward to reach your goals.

For the business profession persistence’s is a success habit . . . . that makes a big differences. Successful people have put themselves into the position to succeed through their persistence’s.

The Movie of Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

The Movie of Your Life
“Life is the movie you see through your own eyes. It makes little difference
what happens out there. It’s how you take it that counts.”
Denis Waitley, Motivational Author, Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

The movie of your life

The coming attraction of your life is played out every day of your life.

They are played out in the quality of your attitude . . . . in the use of your time . . . . your efforts . . . . and in your activities.

Your script is written as you go . . . . and you can product a short story or an epic . . . . the choice is yours.

The movie of your life can be rewritten any time you choose to rewrite it . . . . and you can change the story line and the ending.

A big factor in looking at the movie of your life is in what you see . . . . and how you have responded to what has been put into the script.

The movie of your life  . . . . is a work in process and you have the capacity to direct your movie in any direction you choose.

Acknowledge and Value Your Accomplishments

Motivational Power Quote

Acknowledge and Value Your Accomplishments
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life
is the foundation for all abundance.”
Eckhart Tolle, German Born Canadian Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Acknowledge and value your accomplishments

It becomes very easy to look past your accomplishments in a hectic world . . . . . and not acknowledge and value your accomplishments.

With each accomplishment there was effort and a journey to successfully create the accomplishment. It’s not so much the size of the accomplishment . . . . as it is the effort that you put into task to create a successful outcome.

Your success journey becomes a series of interlocking events . . . . that moves either will move you closer to achieve your goals or will pull you off course.

Your accomplishments are the stepping stones into your future . . . . with each step you take you move closer to your objectives. Some of your steps will be giant steps forward while others will inch your forward. Over time every step contributes to your long term success.

Becoming an overnight sensation

Make the Effort to do All You Can do

Motivational Power Quote

Make the Effort to do All You Can do
“All You Can Do
is
All You Can Do,
but all you can do is enough!”
A.L. Williams, Author, Entrepreneur

As I see it . . . . . . .

Make the effort to do all you can do

This quote is the title of an outstanding book written by, A.L. Williams in 1988.

The book is timeless and is still appropriate today for those who strive to become the best that they can be in their business and in their lives.

It tells the story how A.L. Williams took control of his life and changes the path he was on to become a successful entrepreneur.

A.L. Williams grew up wanting to follow in his father’s footstep to become a football coach. He achieved his goal and became a successful high school football coach.

A.L. Williams father died a young age and died without any form of insurance. His family was left to struggle both emotionally and financially that event changed the course of A.L. Williams life.

While still coaching football A.L. Williams took on a part time job amd became a successful insurance salesperson.

Now for the rest of the story . . . .

The death A.L. Williams father left a lasting impression on him.

His mission became his passion. Has A.L. became successful selling insurance he took the next step and started a insurance company that would go on to specialized in selling  term life insurance policies.

Term life insurance is far more affordable than the traditional insurance policies and made life insurance available at lower costs and on that business model A.L. built a successful company.

I would highly recommend the book. I found my copy on Amazon.com, just Google the book by name.

A.L. Williams followed his passion to be all he could be. He made the effort to do all that you can do and you will find that all you can do will be enough to achieve your goals

Focus on What Really Matters

Motivational Power Quote

Focus on What Really Matters
“Focus is not a business only thing.
Each person has only twenty-four hours per day,
and how we spend those hours shows
what’s important in our lives.
The question we must ask ourself is . . .
Are we focusing on what really matters.”
Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truth, Successories

As I see it . . . . . . .

Focus on what really matters

It’s not until we know what really matters to us, can we really begin to focus our time on what’s important.

When we are focusing our time on what really matters we are making better use of our time and see a higher rate return for our efforts.

Knowing what really matters is important in our career as well as in our personal endeavors.

When we can focus our energies on what matters we are finding the highest and best use for our time and we become far more productive in our effort and in our results.

Focus on what really matters . . . . and you’re focusing on the most important things in your life.

Motivational Power Quote

Problems Don’t Improve With Age
“. . . ones objective should be to get it right,
get it quick, get it out and get it over . . .
Your problem won’t improve with age.”
Warren Buffet, American Businessman, Investor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Problem don’t improve with age

When you have unsolved problem it feels like your carrying around two full buckets of water with you throughout the day.

The weight of water puts a strain on your mental outlook and the longer your carrying the water around you will find the more your productive is slipping.

Problems don’t improve with age . . . .

In reality problems that go unresolved become worst and will take far more time and effort to resolve then if the problems were addressed immediately.

When you’re faced with a problem address it, resolve it and move on.

Problems don’t improve with age; in reality unresolved problems age us.

The Difference Between Life and the Movies

Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between Life and the Movies
“The difference between life and the movies
is that a script has to make sense,
and life doesn’t.”
Joseph L. Mankiewicz, director, screenwriter

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between life and the movies

In the movies we can see the coming attraction and know the story line before we see the movie, in life the story line continually changes.

The movie has a natural progression. Many times our lives seem to have no rhyme or reason. What we have to do is continually adjust to our changing environment and remain focused on our journey and the desired outcome.

We can choose the movies that we want to see, but the script is written and won’t change. In life we can’t control all the things that happen to us. But we can choose how we respond to what happens to us.

In the movies we can buy popcorn that’s handed to us but it’s expensive. At home we can pop our own popcorn. Popping the popcorn takes effort, but having the popcorn is worth the effort.

In real life to enjoy a happy ending we have to have to create our own script, stay on course and work hard to achieve a happy ending.
