Focus on What Really Matters

Motivational Power Quote

Focus on What Really Matters
“Focus is not a business only thing.
Each person has only twenty-four hours per day,
and how we spend those hours shows
what’s important in our lives.
The question we must ask ourself is . . .
Are we focusing on what really matters.”
Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truth, Successories

As I see it . . . . . . .

Focus on what really matters

It’s not until we know what really matters to us, can we really begin to focus our time on what’s important.

When we are focusing our time on what really matters we are making better use of our time and see a higher rate return for our efforts.

Knowing what really matters is important in our career as well as in our personal endeavors.

When we can focus our energies on what matters we are finding the highest and best use for our time and we become far more productive in our effort and in our results.

Focus on what really matters . . . . and you’re focusing on the most important things in your life.

Good Listeners

Motivational Power Quote

Good Listeners
“Without question, the art of listening is one of the
most underestimated keys to success.
I want you to stop and think about the friends and
you really enjoy being with,
the bosses you you’ve enjoyed working for,
and I’d e willing to bet they all have one thing in common . . .
they’re good listeners.”
Mac Anderson, Founder Simple Truth, Successories

As I see it . . . . . . .

Good listeners

Good listeners will inherit the earth and control the negotiation process. Oh well they may not inherit the earth but they will make a lot money in their career as result of their listening skills.

A good listener will hear what others miss and gather a great deal of information by listening. They will also create lasting business relationships by listening and understanding their customers’ needs.

As a result of their listening skills they will build rapport with the people they meet. They will also create a large sphere of influence to draw on for future business and referrals.

Good listeners stand out in their profession simply by the fact that they listen. A good listener will do more business, make more money and become more successful.

Nurture Your Ideas

Motivational Power Quote

Nurture Your Ideas
“One of the most amazing things about business (and life)
is the power of one idea.
And one of your great challenges as leader is to
understand how to find and nurture them.”
Mac Anderson, Founder of Simple Truth and Successiories

As I see it . . . . . . .

Nurture your ideas

An idea that’s nurtured will bear fruit

Ideas like the Frisbee, Silly Putty and the Pet Rocks where in there day were off the wall idea’s that made their creators multiple millionaires

One idea can light the world, create flight, create a breakthrough,  make a person rich and can create Post-A Note..

It’s not the size of the idea that makes it valuable it’s the size of the persons heart with the idea and their persistence that bring value to the idea.

An idea to market our business more effectively, to prospect for greater results or finding a way to create more referrals would all have a positive impact on our businesses and bottom line.

An idea that never sees the light of day will soon pass; an idea that’s nurtured has the possibilities to have an impact.

Nurture your ideas and the best ones will come to the surface and bear the fruit of making differences.

You Can Do It

Motivational Power Quote

You Can Do It
“Never underestimate the power of belief
when it comes to fulfilling your dreams.
I can say with no hesitation that every person
I’ve ever met who has achieved any
degree of success has one thing in common:
they believed with all their heart they could do it.”
Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truth, Successories

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You can do it

Our goals become within our reach the moment that we believe that they are.

We can achieve greater levels of success when we believe that we can.

What we believe becomes the trigger that sparks our actions and actions create the foundation for our future. What we believe we can do, we will act on and achieve.

Successful people have a common element on their success journey, they believe in themselves, they believe in their ability and they believe that they reach their goals and achieve success.

They will act on their beliefs with a purpose and make the efforts required to succeed.

The simple is that you can do it when you believe that you can do it.

Change is Not Always a Choice - How We Respond Is

Motivational Power Quote

Change is Not Always a Choice - How We Respond Is
“Change is not easy, but it is simple.
Things will always change.
We don’t have a choice about that.
But we do have a choice about how we react to change.
It really boils down to this.
Either we manage change, or it will manage us.”
Mac Anderson,

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Change is not always a choice how - we respond is
The one constant that we have in life is change.

Change can come into our life uninvited and it’s just seems to show up. Some change we will welcome into our lives while other change we resist.

We can find some change easy to adjust to and other change very challenging to except or adapt to.

No matter how we feel about the change it’s in our live and how we respond to the change will have an enormous influence on what fork we in the road we take.

We can resist change and fight it with all of our strength to the point that we create a path to negative thinking in the way we response to change. The more we fight change the further we get off track we become and we lose our sense of purpose.

The result of fighting changes leads to taking the wrong fork in the road and it leads us down a path minimal success to where the change now consumed us and the change now controls us and our life.

When we come to the fork in the road of change we can make the choice to remain in control of our life and decide to do our best to control the change that has come in to our lives.

Change is not always easy to mange but its far better to manage the change than having the change manage us.

To achieve success we will have to be able to adjust to change and be proactive in managing the change.

Positive Change is Only A Few Feet Away

Motivational Power Quote

Positive Change is Only A Few Feet Away
“Have you ever watched a fly bouncing off a window pane,
even with an open door a few away?
Many times the fly keeps crashing into the glass
until it finally dies.
There are many companies in today’s world
doing exactly the same thing.
They continue down ‘today’s path’ wearing blinders
to the possibility of change… until they die.”
Mac Anderson, founder Simple Truths and Successories Inc.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Positive change is only a few feet away

Change can be planned or change can be reactive. Change can be positive or it change can be an negative event

Change is inevitable and it comes into our life without invitation and seems to happen when it least expected.

Positive change is change that we make the efforts to control and we where we adjust to the conditions to find the best solutions to the conditions. Positive change doesn’t mean that the change we turn out 100% the way we want it to turn out. What is meant by positive change is we stay in control of the process and make the best out of the conditions that we’re facing.

Reactive change is when someone stands on the sidelines with the attitude that they can’t do anything about the conditions and allows the change to occur without any efforts on their part to control the outcome. They will settle for what life hands them.

When change comes into our life we can look the other way and be in denial or we can be proactive and try to lead the change and make the best out of the conditions until we change them.

Letting change control us id like hitting your head against the wall and the only thing that’s achieved is a headache.

With positive change is not accepting the status quo, it’s doing everything in your power to remind in control of the conditions and to change them.

Positive change in only a few feet away when you start to look past what always has be done and to look for new solutions.

Create a Lasting First Impression

Motivational Power Quote

Create a Lasting First Impression

“Never forget with every new customer,
you have only one chance . . . just one,
to make a first impression.
Plan it, make it all it can be;
create a wonderful memory
and you’ll create a
customer for life.”
Mac Anderson, founder of Simple Truth & Successories

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Create a lasting first impression

The first several seconds of meeting a new customer for the first time will either make or break the relationship.

In meeting a customer for the first time they will make a subconscious decision within the few several seconds if the like us or will consider doing business with us. If the answer to either one of the questions is no, there will be no business relationship.

Our first impression is a lasting impression with the customers we meet. Within several seconds they will determine if there will be a business relationship or just a short conversation.

A first impression will either open a door of opportunity for us or that door will remain closed to us.

Be prepared to make a great first impression with the goal of establishing a solid business relationship.
We have one only opportunity to make a lasting first impression and we will either make or lose it within several seconds of meeting a customer.

Motivational Power Quote

Our Emotions
“Our emotions are powerful motivators,
and more than almost anything else
in our lives they will drive our behavior.
Sometimes our greatest challenge
is to get inside our own heads
to understand what makes us tick.
Why do we feel and behave the way we do.”
Mac Anderson, founder of the Simple Truth & Successories

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Our emotions

Our emotions are embedded in our thoughts and will determine our behavior and our course of action. Emotions are a sense or feeling drives us in our decision making.

Once we understand what makes us act the way we do, we start to understand the forces of our emotions.

If we can control our emotions we can control our destiny.
