Opportunities and Challenges

Opportunities and Challenges
“Opportunities come and go . . . . challenges are temporary
conditions. Success is achieved by those who prepare
themselves to take advantage of the opportunities
that are found in their challenges.”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Opportunities and challenges

I believe our life is a series of both opportunities and challenges. The future belongs to the person that sees what others don’t see . . . . and puts themselves into the position to take advantage of the opportunities.

Success is not a matter of luck . . . . Success is achieved by the person who has prepared themselves for success. Then when the opportunity is there they seize the moment and opportunity.

Be ready . . . . to maximize that opportunity.

Seize the day! Take responsibility for your future . . . . and continually seek out new opportunities.

The day is yours when . . . . you seize the day . . . . and the opportunities that your day holds.

Many time the difference between opportunities and challenges . . . . are in the way you look at them . . . . and the in the actions you take.

Self-Image is the Key

Self-Image is the Key
“The ‘self-image’ is the key to human personality and human
behavior. Change the self image and you change the
personality and the behavior.”
Maxwell Maltz 1899 - 1975, American Cosmetic Surgeon
 and Author of Psycho Cybernetics

As I see it . . . . . . .

Self-image is the key

Self-image is the key to your personality and your behavior.

Your self-image will be reflected in the way you treat people . . . . and will become a reflection of your relationships . . . . and how people treat you.

Your self-image is deeply rooted in your thinking and will result in being a positive thinker . . . . or mired in negative thinking mindset.

Self-image is the key . . . . to your attitude. With a positive self-image your attitude will be a positive and you will see the opportunities and the possibilities in your life.

Real Independence
“If money is your hope for independence you will never have it.
The only real security that a man will have in this world is
a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability.”
Henry Ford 1863 - 1947, American Industrialist, Founder
of the Ford Motor Company

As I see it . . . . . . .

Real Independence

Your real independence in life is in your knowledge and your ability to maximize the use of it.

It’s not in HOW MUCH knowledge you have . . . . its in HOW YOU USE your knowledge.

When a person has a great deal of knowledge and doesn’t apply it with a purpose or effectively . . . . that knowledge has a very limited value to the holder.

On the other hand the person that takes their knowledge even though that knowledge may be limited.

When they apply their knowledge with purpose and enthusiasm they will get far more out of their knowledge. They will outperform the person with superior knowledge who lacks purpose or motivation.

The key is . . . . Real independence comes in  the use of ALL the knowledge you have . . . . and continue to add more as you go.

Your Life is a Habit

Your Life is a Habit
“The second half of a man’s life is made up of nothing but the
habits he has acquired during the first half.”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Russian Novelist, Short Story Writer,
Essayist, and Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your life is a habit

We train yourself to follow a routine . . . . from the side of the bed that you sleep on to the way you put on your clothes.

Those habits follow you throughout your day in both your personal and business relationships. They become ingrained habits are repeated with very little conscious thought.

Your good habit will create the gateway for your future success and create that basis for your future achievement.

Your poor habits become a weight on your shoulders and the longer that your carrying that weight with you the more exhausted that you will become. In time that weight will become overwhelming as zap your strength and enthusiasm and bring your success journey to a standstill.

Your life is a habit . . . . your productive habits will fuel your success journey . . . . and your negative habits will put the brakes on the forward progress of your success journey.

Maximize your positive and productive habits . . . . Take your unproductive habits and make the commitment to yourself to replace them will a new proactive habit.

In time you will be focused on using your productive habits as the fuel for your success journey and you leave your old unproductive on the roadside of your success journey.

Your life is a habit . . . . pick your habits wisely . . . .as they will make your life.

Raising the Bar For Your Expectations

Motivational Power Quote

Raising the Bar For Your Expectations
"Achievement is largely the product of steadily raising
one's levels of aspiration and expectation."
 Jack Nicklaus, American professional golfer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Raising the bar for your expectations

When you establish crystal clear expectations for your future . . . . you create the foundation in your mind on how you will achieve your maximum potential.

Steadily raising the bar for your expectations . . . . and the aspirations elevates your thinking to a higher level to reach for higher goals.

Does Opportunity Knock?

Motivational Power Quote

Does Opportunity Knock?
“What is opportunity, and does it knock? It never knocks. You can
wait a whole lifetime, listening, hoping, and you will hear no
knocking. None at all. You are opportunity, and you must knock
on the door leading to your destiny. You prepare yourself to
recognize opportunity, to pursue and seize opportunity as you
develop the strength of your personality, and build a self-image
with which you are able to live – with self-respect
alive and growing.”
Maxwell Maltz 1899 – 1975, author, plastic surgeon,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Does opportunity knock?

Opportunity is discovered by the person that has prepared themselves to succeed and has an open mind to see the possibilities.

The person that’s waiting for opportunity to knock should be well prepared to wait a life time . . . .

The person that prepares themselves . . . . will see the opportunities through the eyes of their preparation and attitude. They say that things don’t come easy . . . . but for those who are prepared seem to discover the opportunities that others never see.

Preparation puts you in a power position to maximize your opportunities and to bring them to a successful outcome.

Does opportunity knock? Opportunities exist to those that actively seek them out and are prepared when they discover them.
