When Something Needs to Be Started . . . . Just Do It

When Something Needs to Be Started . . . . Just Do It
“When something has to be started . . . . just do what
has to done.”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consult,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
When something needs to be started . . . . Just do it

When something needs to be started . . . . Start from where you are with . . . . with the tools you have and develop the rest along the way.

Waiting to get started until everything is in place . . . . and you become inspired only generates procrastination . . . . Waiting doesn't create inspiration . . . . or get things done. Waiting puts your success journey into reverse.

Let other people procrastinate . . . . but not you . . . . Let other people talk about there going to do . . . . while your getting things done.

When something needs to be started . . . . Move in the direction of what needs to be done. With your first step in the right direction gets you started . . . . and your persistence keeps you moving forward.

Clearly Written Goals Creates the Target

Clearly Written Goals Creates the Target
“People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in
shorter period of time than people without them
could ever imagine.”
Brian Tracy, Self-Help Author,  Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .
Clearly written goals creates the target

Successful people know where they’re going . . . . and how they will get there . . . .  and they seem do it in a shorter period of time.

WHY? Success people have a success plan . . . .  with the written goals to get them to where they’re going.

Your written goals become your purpose . . . . They become your road map on your success journey . . . . and creates a target for you to aim for. The goals maps out your success journey . . . . and gives you your direction  . . . . along with a path to follow.

Referring to your written goals it will also allow you to measure your forward progress against your goals. With written goals you’ll also know when you’re on track or you get off track . . . . and they will help you to get back on track quicker.

Goals create the mile markers on your success journey that’s give you a way to check your progress at any point.

Successful people achieve their success because they know where they’re going . . . . and they have a plan to get there. This will allow you to use the time more effectively to reach your objectives.

Clearly written goals create the target for you to aim for . . . . and to keep you on purpose to get out of bed every day . . . . and to keep moving forward.

Winners Retain Their Composure

Winners Retain Their Composure
“To be a champion, you have to learn to handle stress and
pressure. But if you've prepared mentally and
physically, you don’t have to worry.”
Harvey Mackay, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker,
Best Selling Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Winners retain their composure

You will find yourself moving through various conditions through-out your lifetime. Some positive conditions . . . . some negative. Some will pass quickly . . . . and some will linger.

Some conditions will have the capacity to become a breakthrough moment in your life . . . . while other will pass almost unnoticed

Regardless of the condition that you find yourself in, it becomes imperative . . . . that you retain your composure . . . . and to stay in control of the condition.

Winners look like a winner . . .  . and become a winner because they retain their composure to keep moving forward.

When you retain your composure in challenging situations you reflect an air of confidence in yourself . . . . and others will see you as being a strong person and in control.

When you lose control of your composure . . . . you will  see your decision making capacity diminish . . . . You will also find yourself allowing emotions to take control and losing control of the situation.

No matter what your circumstances are always retain your composure. Stay in control of the situation . . . . and you will find a way to accomplish your objectives.

Staying in control is a winner’s mental edge . . . . and that edge is winners retain your composure.

Forming Success Patterns

Forming Success Patterns
“Happiness is a pattern. Your mind thinks in patterns,
therefore you behave and feel in patterns.”
Med Jones, President of International Institute of
Management

As I see it . . . . . . .

Forming success pattern

You will go through your day repeating the patterns of your past without give your actions much thought.

The patterns have been created in your thinking. They reside in the sub-conscious reaches of your mind . . . . and in your thought patterns.

Your patterns can be having a positive impact on your life . . . . and contributing to your success. Or your patterns can be creating barriers in your life . . . . and keeping success out of your reach.

In either case no matter if you’re moving forward . . . . or falling behind your patterns have an enormous impact on which direction your moving in.

Forming success patterns . . . . becomes an essential part of which direction your moving in and if your patterns will support you . . . . on your success journey to reach your goals.

Look at your daily activities and indentify the patterns that are contributing to your success and supporting your efforts to move forward. They’re your strengths and need to be nurtured to maximize the return on those patterns.

Take a tough look at the patterns that are returning minimal results or no results at all. Start to remove those patterns and replace them with new productive patterns at will have a positive impact in your success.

Forming success patterns . . . . will keep your success journey moving in the right direction . . . . and create forward momentum in your career.

Your Greatest Lessons are in the Journey

Your Greatest Lessons are in the Journey
“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are
ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey not
the destination.”
Don William Jr., American Novelist, Poet

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your greatest lessons are in the journey

The lessons that you learn on your success journey become a great source of knowledge . . . . and invaluable resource in  moving forward.

Your life experience and lessons becomes a vast reservoir of information and knowledge to draw on to use those experiences in your choices and decision making.

Your life lessons will accumulate creating a depth of knowledge in your choices . . . . Steering you away for your past mistakes and focusing your efforts what you have to do to create a successful results and why it’s your best choice of action.

Your greatest lessons are in the journey . . . . as your life experiences and the lessons that you learn on your success journey are what you draw on to keep you moving forward and moving in the right direction.

The Willingness to Accept Responsibility

Motivational Power Quote

The Willingness to Accept Responsibility
“Character – the willingness to accept responsibility for one’s our
life – is the source from which self – respect springs.”
Joan Dillion

As I see it . . . . . . .

The willingness to accept responsibility

No one likes to make a mistake . . . . encounter obstacles . . . . or to meet with a failure. In reality we all . . . . do.

Your time is better spent in finding solutions . . . . them in wasting it in trying to make excuses.

Conditions come and go through your life . . . . dealing with what has to be done and finding solutions is using your time productively.

Making excuses will take your eye off the ball . . . . It sends you down a slippery slope of misuse of your time without come up with an acceptable solution . . . . or making forward progress.

When you willing to accept responsibility  . . . . you take your bumps upfront. Your able to put them behind you and focus on finding solutions and moving forward.

The only way you can try to avoid obstacle and issues is by staying in your comfort zone. The willingness to accept responsibility . . . . is accepting the responsibility for your own success and for working through the difference conditions in encounter in your life.

Channel the Sort Into Power

Motivational Power Quote

Channel the Sort Into Power
“No steam or gas drives anything until it is confined. No Niagara
is ever turned into light and power until it is tunneled. No life
ever grows great until it is focused, dedicated and disciplined.”
Harry E. Fosdick 1878 – 1919, America Pastor

As I see it . . . . . . .

Channel the sort into power

The mighty Niagara River has also been a powerful river . . . . But wasn’t until man harnessed the power of the river where they able to harness the power and turn it into electricity for millions of homes and businesses.

You see it in business every day people have the desire to succeed and they work hard . . . . they move from task to task . . . . they put out fires. But at the end of the day they have made very little process in moving forward in their career.

It not the lack of desire that’s holding them back . . . . it’s the lack of focus that’s creating the issue.

The sort of your power is your person energy . . . . and when you use it with a purpose it becomes an enormous resource on your success journey. Focus your personal energy on achieving your objectives and in creating forward momentum.

Channel the sort into power . . . . unleash the power of your personal energy and create the momentum of the Niagara River in the direction of your goals.

A Valuable Lesson From Nature

Motivational Power Quote

A Valuable Lesson From Nature
“Nature always takes her time. Great oaks don’t become
great overnight, they also lose a lot of leaves, branches and
bark in the process of becoming great.”
Andrew Matthews, Best Selling International Author
and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

A valuable lesson from nature

A great oak doesn’t grow to its full spender in a day . . . . what start out as tiny acorn grows inch by inch, day by day . . . . and takes many years to mature.

The great oak to grow to its full maturity has to put down deep roots in order to weather the storms of life and the winds of adversity. Without deep roots the tree will fall under the pressures it encounters.

Our careers start out the same way as the as a great oak tree . . . . they both start as a tiny acorn. Our acorn is in the vision that we have for our life. Our vision has to be deeply rooted in our values . . . .to withstand the pressures from our business.

Over time you will encounter many storms that can threaten your business . . . . and having your values deeply rooted will give satiability. It will also give you the strength . . . . to remain standing in adversity and keep you moving forward.

As with the great oak tree . . . . you have to give your business the time to grow and mature . . . .

A valuable lesson from nature . . . . is to put down deep roots and give your business the time to grow to its full potential.

Keep Moving in the Right Direction

Motivational Power Quote

Keep Moving in the Right Direction
“Anyone who is satisfied to stand still
should not complain when others pass him.”
Anonymous

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Keep moving in the right direction

To get to your destination you have to know where you want to go and be willing to pay the tolls to get there.

You’re either moving forward in the right direction of achieving your goals and objectives . . . . or your falling behind. There is no standing still on your success journey . . . . you’re either moving forward or your falling off the pace and being left behind.

When you’re standing still you’re being passed by are no longer able to compete effectively.

Know the direction that you want to go and make steady progress in that direction.

The person who feels that they can stand still will soon be passed by and will find them self moving away from their goals.

Keep moving in the right direction . . . . and keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will find yourself making steady progress in the direction of your goals and objectives.

Success is a Journey Not an Event

Motivational Power Quote

Success is a Journey Not an Event
“Success does not happen with one event.
It happens as a result of many small steps
one take to achieve their desires outcome.
Every day take one small step and watch the magic happen.”
 Kathleen Gage, author, coach, consultant,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Success is a journey not an event

Success is the result of many small efforts made with excellence over a period of time. The results of our efforts accumulate and create the basis for our success.

People who achieve success have achieved it one small effort at a time and over time their small efforts create forward momentum and makes a big difference.

Steady and consistent positive efforts will continue keeps a person moving forward and with their efforts are moving them closer to their goals.

Success is not a singular event and shortcut won’t get you to your goals faster. In fact in most cases continually looking for shortcuts will take your eye off the prize, misuse your time and efforts and will create many do – over’s and a trail of misdirected efforts.

Success comes from being committed to your success journey and hard work. Success is a journey not an event and for those who are committed success will be created through your efforts.

Get Off The Fence

Motivational Power Quote

Get Off The Fence
“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence
you get off on sometimes.
What matters most is getting off.
You cannot make progress without making decisions.”
Jim Rohn, Self-Help Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Get off the fence

When we’re sitting on the fence, we just sit there without making any progress, we not moving forward and all we can do is watch the world passing us by.

Sitting on the fence is actively practicing the art of procrastination and putting off making decisions to some unspecified time in the future.

The person that’s sitting on the fence is on the fence by their choice. They have ended up sitting on the fence as result of not making the decision to take action and to move their life forward.

Unless the person on the fence makes the decision to get off the fence and getting on with their life the best bet is that they will eventually just fall off of the fence.

When we are facing a challenging decision get off the fence and make the best possible choice you can and move forward and move on.
