The Possibility Zone

The Possibility Zone
“The possibility zone is just a little out of your reach . . . .
and just a little outside of your comfort zone.
Be willing to stretch yourself forward. . . . .
and to step out of your comfort zone . . . .
and step into the possibility zone.”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
The possibility zone

We are searching for success . . . . when many times success is within your reach from where your  standing.

You may have to stretch yourself forward to reach success . . . . But it’s there for a person who is willing stretch themselves out of their comfort zone . . . . and into the possibility zone.

Success may take a change of habits . . . . but as you adjust your habits things change . . . . and success becomes within your reach.

You may have to change your thinking . . . . but in changing your thinking you change your world . . . . and that change moves you closer to reaching your goal of achieving greater success.

What you desire to reach and achieve is within your reach the moment you decide that you want to achieve greater success . . . . and you make the decision to step into the possibility zone.

Winners Retain Their Composure

Winners Retain Their Composure
“To be a champion, you have to learn to handle stress and
pressure. But if you've prepared mentally and
physically, you don’t have to worry.”
Harvey Mackay, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker,
Best Selling Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Winners retain their composure

You will find yourself moving through various conditions through-out your lifetime. Some positive conditions . . . . some negative. Some will pass quickly . . . . and some will linger.

Some conditions will have the capacity to become a breakthrough moment in your life . . . . while other will pass almost unnoticed

Regardless of the condition that you find yourself in, it becomes imperative . . . . that you retain your composure . . . . and to stay in control of the condition.

Winners look like a winner . . .  . and become a winner because they retain their composure to keep moving forward.

When you retain your composure in challenging situations you reflect an air of confidence in yourself . . . . and others will see you as being a strong person and in control.

When you lose control of your composure . . . . you will  see your decision making capacity diminish . . . . You will also find yourself allowing emotions to take control and losing control of the situation.

No matter what your circumstances are always retain your composure. Stay in control of the situation . . . . and you will find a way to accomplish your objectives.

Staying in control is a winner’s mental edge . . . . and that edge is winners retain your composure.

Why Not?

Why Not?
Why not me?
“Why not . . . go for it?
Why not  . . .  go for it now?”
Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,
Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Why not?

Dream of your future . . . . and say why not?

As you look at your life and see the possibilities . . . . and say to yourself why not me?

Look at your business . . . . and see the opportunities . . . .and say why not?

See yourself living a happy and prosperous life . . . . and say why not?

See your future as you want it to be . . . . and say why not?

If you want to change your life . . . . say why not?

Why not . . . be bold and go for it?

Why not . . . make the decision to go for it right now?

Why not . . . . is a choice.

The next time you ask yourself . . . . why not? Go for it and your world will change.

Don’t React , , , , Act With a Purpose

Don’t React , , , , Act With a  Purpose
“The possibilities are numerous
Once we decide to act and not react.”
George Bernard Shaw 1856 - 1950, Irish Playwright,
Co-Founder of the London School of Economics

As I see it . . . . . . .

Don’t react . . . . Act with a purpose

Your future is a blank canvass . . . . that only you can paint.

To paint the canvass with your future you have to a vision for what you want your future be. We then will have to act on our vision to make it become what we believe it can be.

There are only two ways that the canvass of your life can be painted. You can take control of your life and act on determining your future . . . .  and to start to paint your canvass as you want to see that future. Or you can decide to live a reactive life and have someone else paint the canvass of your life for you, as they see your life.

The choice is simple to act to control your future . . . . or to reactive and have someone else decide your life for you.

Create a grand vision for your life . . . . and act on the vision of what you want your life to be.

See your life as a blank canvass . . . . and use your imagination to paint your future. Remember it’s your bush . . . . it’s your canvass . . . .  it’s your life . . . . it’s your paint . . . . and it can be anything that you want it to be.

Believe in the possibility for your future . . . . because for what you believe you can make come true.

Make the decision . . . .  Don’t react  . . . .   act with a purpose to create the life that you want it to be.

The Pain of Inaction

 The Pain of Inaction
“We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of
discipline or the pain of regret. The difference
is discipline weights ounces while
regret weights tons.”
Jim Rohn 1930 – 2009 , American Entrepreneur,
Self-Author, Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The pain of inaction

Success and inaction . . . . both come with a price.

Inaction . . . . is making the decision to procrastinate.

Procrastination is making . . . . a choice.

The choice that’s made is . . . . the of inaction which is to take the action is choosing not to act. The price of inaction is enormous. It is carried forward in the form of pain in living a life of regret for the things that you did not do . . . . and in lost opportunities.

Taking action takes self-confidence in your decision making and in your abilities. You also have to have the mental discipline to take calculated risks . . .  and to make choices.

In taking action some of your choices will create breakthrough opportunities in your life . . . . while others may have little or no impact . . . . And there will be some that you would like to forget about.

Failing to take action subordinates the choice to someone else to make the decision for you. You will lose the ability to make your choices and to choose your actions.

When it’s time to take action you have to step up . . . . and take the best actions possible in the conditions that you find yourself in.

The pain of regret for your inaction is carried forward and can become emotionally draining on you. The discipline to succeed . . . . is making choices . . . .

Taking action has a price but there is peace of mind in knowing that we’re in control of your choices . . . . your actions . . . . your the results . . . . and in your future.

The pain of inaction is enormous . . . .

When the Boat is Constantly Leaking

When the Boat is Constantly Leaking
“Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy
devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive
than energy devoted to patching leaks.”
Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway. CEO

As I see it . . . . . . .

When the boat is constantly leaking

When the boat is constantly leaking . . . . you have to make a choice. Do you continue to invest your time and energy in a boat that will be in the same state after all your effort?

Or is it time to get into a new boat and redirect your time and energy in doing what’s important to move you forward?

If you’re investing a massive amount of time and energy for minimal results you reached a point . . . . to where a change is needed.

Refocus your time and energy on doing the things that are most important for you to reach your goals . . . . and move the trivial activities aside.

When you refocus you will find yourself becoming more productive . . . . Where your making far better use of your time . . . . and you will find yourself being energized.

When the boat is constantly leaking . . . . make the decision to do what’s important for you and your future.

There Are Four Ways People Evaluate You

There Are Four Ways People Evaluate You
“There are four ways, and only four ways, in which we have
contract with the world. We are evaluated and classified by
these four contacts: what we do, how we look, what we say,
and how we say it.”
Dale Carnegie, American Motivational Writer and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

There are four ways people evaluate you

People will evaluate you of 4 basic principles:

■ What you do . . . .

■ How you look . . . .

■ What you say . . . .

■ How you say it . . . .

Here’s the key . . . . it’s not the best 3 out of 4 . . . . It’s all 4.

People will evaluate you on the 4 basic principles in the background of their sub-conscious mind. What they are thinking is playing very softly in their sub-conscious thinking.

They will make a decision if they like you . . . .

They will make a decision if the trust you . . . .

They will make a decision if they will do business with you . . . .

This is happening very quickly and based on what they think . . . . they will decide to continue working with you . . . . or they will decide to find another business professional to help them.

Your first impression makes a lasting impression with the people at you meet . . . . That first impression will become the basis for a successful business relationship . . . . or a brief encounter.

There are four ways people evaluate you . . . . Be aware that it’s happening and put your best foot forward to make a great first impression . . . .  for that opportunity is a onetime experience.

When You Take Charge of Your Life
“When you take charge of your life, there is no longer need
to ask permission of other people or society at large.
When you ask permission you give someone veto
power over your life.”
Geoffrey F. Albert, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

When you take charge of your life

When you take charge of your life . . . . you take responsibility for the direction of your life and your success.

You become the driver of your success journey . . . . You’re sitting behind the wheel and you’re making the decision to apply the gas or to step on the brake.

Taking charge of your life is a liberating experience . . . . You will find that you are far more resourceful then you once thought you were . . . . You will also find out that your life in the hands of the person that it should be in  . . . . your hands.

You don’t have to ask permission to take charge of your life . . . . just do it and you will feel the air lifting you to new heights.

When you take charge of your life . . . . you release your personal power to fuel your life forward and in the direction of your goals.

Play the Cards You’re Dealt

Motivational Power Quote

Play the Cards You’re Dealt
“Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once
they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the
cards in order to win the game.”
Voltaire 1694 -1778, French Enlightenment Writer, Historian,
Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .

Play the cards you’re dealt

Life is a journey . . . . On that journey life will deal us varying conditions . . . . as result of the varying conditions we will be tested on how we play the cards that we are dealt.

No matter what the hand looks like you can choose to play the cards your where dealt . . . . You can make the most out of the cards and play to win.

You can try to avoid the cards that life deals to you . . . . and you will find yourself losing control of your decision making and in the direction that your life is going in.

Or you can also decide to fold your cards . . . . and quit.

Not every hand your dealt is a winning hand. . . . It comes down to making the most out of the hand life deals to you and in turning a bad hand into a winning hand.

It’s your choice on how you will . . . . play the cards you’re dealt.

You Can Change Your Life With a Decision

Motivational Power Quote

You Can Change Your Life With a Decision
“Using the power of decision gives you the capacity to get past
any excuse to change any and every part of your life in an instant.”
Anthony Robbins, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

You can change your life with a decision

In an instant . . . . you have the power to change your life with a decision.

Those decisions can open the doors to new business opportunities and being massive success into your life.

A decision can create a breakthrough to take your life and career . . . .   down a new and more prolific path of achievement.

A decision has enormous power . . . . and can have a dramatic impact on you . . . . and your career . . . . and in reaching your full potential.

For a decision to have a positive impact on your life you’re going to . . . . have to make it. Each decision that you make as an element of risk that comes with it . . . . but without that decision things will either come to a standstill or nothing positive happens.

You can change your life with a decision . . . . by making it.

There’s a Time for Talking and a Time for Action

Motivational Power Quote

There’s a Time for Talking and a Time for Action
“While it may be true that the pen is usually mightier than the
sword, unfortunately  there are times when only the sward is
effective at leaving that much needed lasting impression.”
Theodore Monser

As I see it . . . . . . .

There’s a time for talking and a time for action

Many times the spoken word will have an impact on the people that we’re speaking with . . . . and there are time that your actions have to speak for you.

A people that carries a big stick and threatens people with it . . . . will be seen as a bully.

The person that uses the power of words . . . . can influence a person and their decisions.

It will be far more likely in a business relationship . . . . that a persons words that are reflected in their actions . . . . will have a positive impact on their relationships.

There’s a time for taking and a time for action . . . . your words are making a verbal commitment and your actions reinforce your words.

Keep Asking

Motivational Power Quote

Keep Asking
“Some people fold after making one timid request. They quit too
soon. Keep asking until you find the answers. In sales there are
usually four or five no before you get a yes.”
Jack Canfield, Author, Success Coach

As I see it . . . . . . .

Keep asking

There is something to be said about persistence in asking . . . . when you want something you may have to ask for it multiple times to get it.

Most people will ask for something one time  . . . . if the answer is no they will normally give up and not ask for it again.

Big Mistake . . . .

With sales as an example you may have to ask for the order 4 to 6 times to hear a yes . . . . if you don’t continue to continue to ask you have the decision at the first no.

With persistence and in asking good questions . . . . you give the person the choice to say yes and it will very likely take multiple opportunities to get to yes.

Here’s a key . . . . the first few no’s are just a reflective response for most people. In many cases they are preoccupied or just trying to blow you off without thinking about what your offering.

Keep digging and you will find out the person’s real motivation . . . . and keep asking. The person with the most persistence will make the sale.

Focused Questions

Motivational Power Quote

Focused Questions
“A major stimulant to creative thinking is focused question.
There is something about a well – worded question that
often penetrates to the heart of the matter and triggers
new ideas and insights .”
Brian Tracy, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Focused questions

A focused question . . . . draws the person into the conversation . . . .

By asking focused questions you . . . . will receive useful information  to reach a successful outcome . . . .

When you ask focused questions . . . . you will be in control of the direction of the conversation . . . .

When you ask focused questions in negotiations . . . . You will undercover the persons real motivations and unlock the key to completing a successful negotiations.

By asking focused questions . . . . you will be able to make far better decisions.

Asking focused questions is not about controlling the conversation . . . . It’s about controlling the direction of the conversation and the flow of useful information.

It not about speaking it about the strategy . . . . knowing when to speak and when to listen . . . . and when to ask  focused questions.

What You do Today Will Influence Your Future

Motivational Power Quote

What You do Today Will Influence Your Future
“The way you think the way you behave, the way you eat,
can  influence your life by 30 to 50 years.”
Deepak Chopra, authority in the field of mind-body healing

As I see it . . . . . . .

What you do today will influence your future

How you prepare your mind and body today . . . . will influence and impact your future.

The way you eat will affect your health and energy levels . . . . and both will affect your life and that way that you are able to work.

Eating healthy increases . . . . your physical endurance and your energy to work longer and harder to stay on course to reach your objectives. When you’re healthy . . . . you will take on bigger challenges and stick with them until you turn them into successes.

Also an interesting side effect of good health is your thinking . . . . when you’re in good health your thinking becomes clearer and your decision making process is focused.

When your healthy . . . . your thinking will be sharper when you’re negotiating and you far will less likely to lose focus of your objection as a result of your energy being drained or fatigue setting in.

What you do today will influence your future . . . . your life and the level of success you achieve.

Actions Have Both Risks and Rewards

Motivational Power Quote

Actions Have Both Risks and Rewards
“There are risks and costs to a plan of action. But they are far less than the long – range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.”
John F. Kennedy 1917 - 1963, 35th President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . .

Actions have both risks and rewards

For every action that you take there will be an element of risk in your decision to take action and in your actions there will also be rewards and benefits.

Without action on your part there is only the status quo, there is no progress only more of the same. Choosing not to act brings a bigger risk of falling behind. When you fail to act you will lose sight of your goals and your inaction will return very little in the way of any benefits to you.

With action there will always be a potential of risk. Look at the risk and look at the rewards and benefits. If the benefits exceed the risk there is value in taking the risk.

To move your career forward there will be elements of risk in your action. But without taking action there is not progress on your success journey and you will find yourself stuck in place.

Have the courage of your convictions and take the actions that will move you closer to your goals.

Actions have both risks and rewards; take the actions that will lead you down the pathway to success and prosperity.

Change Has the Power to . . . .

Motivational Power Quote

Change Has the Power to . . . .
“Charge it has the power to uplift, to heal, to stimulate,
Surprise, open new doors, bring fresh experience
and create excitement in life. Certainly it is worth the risk.”
Leo Buscaglia 1924 – 1998, Author, Motivational Speaker,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Change has the power to . . . .

Change has the power to create a new beginning from where you are today with the resources that you have.

Your new beginning starts the moment that you make the decision that you want change in your life’s direction.

Change begins with the willingness to step away from the status quo of what you have always done and to stretch yourself to try new things to create new results.

You will also have to venture out of your comfort zone and to take the calculated risks to achieve the changes in your life that you desire.

Change has the power to . . .  change the road that you have been traveling on to a path that’s less traveled and one that will change your life.

Change is all around you and it’s continuous. You’re not able to stop change but you can try to fight it and misdirect your time and energy and fall behind the business curve.

Change has the power to . . . . change your life for the better when you embrace change and make the most of the opportunities that change bring into your life.

Make the Decision to Fill Your Cup

Motivational Power Quote

Make the Decision to Fill Your Cup

Take the journey of making very difficult decisions.

When You’re Faced With a Decision Make it

Motivational Power Quote

When You’re Faced With a Decision Make it
“In any moment of decision,
the best thing you can do is the right thing,
the next to best thing is the wrong thing,
and the worst thing you can do is nothing.”
Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States

As I see it . . . . . . .

When you’re faced with a decision make it

In the moment of having to make a decision you have a choice. You can choose to make the decision or you can decide to procrastinate and not make a decision.

When you’re faced with a decision make the best decision that you can and make the decision to do the right thing. When you make the decision to act you become proactive in the decision making process and have more control of the process. When you decide to do the right thing you are making a decision with a purpose.

Most important is to make the decision.

Not every decision that you make will produce the desired results, but you have more control on the outcome then you will by procrastinating.

When you’re faced with a decision make it and work at creating the desired outcome.

Motivational Power Quote

Every Decision is a Choice
“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself.
Whatever has to be done it’s
always a choice.”
Dr. Wayne Dryer, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Every decision is a choice

Every decision you make is a choice and those choice will determine the path we follow and the life we lead.

You have the choice to travel down the path of prosperity or take a dead end road. You can choose to be successful and work hard to achieve success or you can choose to go along with the flow.

You are responsible for your decisions, your choices and your results.

We can complain about your station in life or you can make the choices to change it and create the station in life that you want.

Every decision is a choice and it’s you choice on what you do in that moment of choice.
