It Takes Strength to Walk Away

It Takes Strength to Walk Away
“Sometimes walking away has nothing do with weakness,
and everything to do with strength. We walk away not
because we want others to realize our worth and
value, but because we finally realize our own.”
Robert Tew, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

It takes strength to walk away

There are times in both business and in our personal relationships that it comes a time to call it a day . . . . and to end the relationship.

Things are just not working out . . . . There’s a total lack of cooperation . . . . and many times that the relationship is just flat out is breaking down in the communications and things are falling apart.

You have given your best to make the relationship work . . . . but the effort is one sided . . . . with the other party showing a lack in interest in pulling things together or in have things work out.

It takes real strength to recognize a destructive relationship . . . . and the time has come to end the relationship. When you reach that point the best thing to do is step away from the relationship and to bring it to a non-confrontational ending.

It takes strength to walk away . . . . and as you do . . . .  you will redirect your energy into building positive and productive relationship in your personal life and business.

You Don’t Understand Me

You Don’t Understand Me
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness
was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what
I wanted to be, when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They
told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told
them they didn’t understand me.”
John Lennon, English Musician, Singer, Songwriter,
Founding Member of the Beatles

As I see it . . . . . . .

You don’t understand me

If I make you comfortable being in my presents . . . . you will communicate with me and understand me.

If I ask you questions . . . . you will tell me.

If I listen . . . . I will hear you.

If I hear you . . . . I will understand you.

If I make you feel important . . . . you will like being in my company.

You don’t understand me . . . . is deeply rooted in poor commutations.

Poor communication . . . . becomes a bi-product of not proactively listening to the person who is speaking.

You don’t understand me is at the root of close to 70% of all the divorces in the country. And a major factor of broken relationship in business and lost business opportunities.

You don’t understand me . . . . is slippery path downhill . . . . Listen to what a person is telling you . . . . and you will hear what it will take to build a strong relationship with the person and do business with them.

What’s Your Goal?

What’s Your Goal?
“If your goals are larger than your need to be liked, then you
will reach your goals. If your need to be liked is larger than
your goal your goal becomes the need to be liked.”
Jean MacNutt

As I see it . . . . . . .

What’s your goal?

The answer to that question makes a big difference in what direction that your life takes . . . .

When you set a goal to achieve your goals . . . . your goal is to achieve your goal. You create a purpose in your life. With a diligent effort and persistence you can achieve your goals.

When you set out to have people like you . . . . Your goal becomes to have people like you.

Your decisions become based on having people like you.

Here’s the key . . . . People who like you may not respect you  . . . . The person that doesn’t respect you will be very unlikely do business with you.

People who respect will appreciate what you do are far more likely to build a successful business relationship with you.

What’s your goal? Make it your goals goal to build a strong professional relationship with your customers . . . . one built on mutual respect and when you achieve that goals . . . . You will achieve your goals.

Rekindle Your Inner Fire

Motivational Power Quote

Rekindle Your Inner Fire

“Sometimes our light goes out
but is blown again into a flame
by an encounter with another human being.
Each of us owes the deepest thanks
to those who have rekindled
this inner light.”
Albert Schweitzer

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Rekindle your inner fire

There are times that our inner fire will flicker and go out. Without that heat from that fire our enthusiasm diminishes until it becomes nonexistent.

Our inner fire can be rekindled with our thinking and through our relationship with other people.

Seek out positive people that will mentor you and rekindle your inner fire for life.

Being Rich is a State of Mind

Motivational Power Quote

Being Rich is a State of Mind

“Being rich isn’t about money.
Being rich is a state of mind.
Some of us, no matter how much
money we have,
will never be free enough to take time
to stops and eat the heart of a watermelon.
And some of us will be rich
without ever bring more
than a paycheck ahead of the game.”
Harvey Mackey

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Being rich is a state of Mind.

Being rich can not be measured by money alone, richness is found in the appreciation for what we have, our relationships and in taking the time to enjoy life.
